I ordered lasagna and it was burnt!! The sauce was brown instead of red! I called the waitress over to show her the burnt lasagna and she was clueless. She did not know what was wrong with the lasagna, she seemed to think that it's OK to eat burnt food! I told her I can't eat brunt lasagna, it will make me sick! The selection of food on the menu really was something spectacular to me and everything we ate was delicious. My order was the All American Slam breakfast plate with sausage links, bacon strips which were cooked perfectly, scrambled eggs with cheese on em', a side of blueberry pancakes which i think are definitely worth trying, and a small pot of coffee at the table to wash it all down. The other order we had was a dish of nachos supreme which were super good and perfect for sharing as we had four of us. Vanessa.O was our server and she was super pleasant and polite to us from when we walked into the dining area, she spoke nicely to us while ordering and helped us understand what we were ordering when we asked for substitiutes. If you're nearby this is where you wanna stop for a meal. Clean inside the dining area and definitely well lit and pleasant to be in with windows all throughout the dining area. Each booth had a lamp above it so it was easy to see the delicious food you're eating as well as the people at your table. Parking lot is plentiful with spots to park and wheelchair accessible at the entrance. read more

Terrible service from our "server" (Maria/ Carmen) Came here for brunch with my kids and mom. When we first got there she helped someone else that got there after we did. I asked for a side item first and that same customer that got there after asked for something else after I did. Well she brought him what he asked for and totally disregarded what I asked for.never once came to ask if we needed a refill.... My cup was almost empty. I shouldn't have to keep asking. When it was time to pay I presented my receipt and she totally ignored me and asked some customers than were still at their table and seat if they wanted their receipt to pay. (She never asked if I wanted mine she just brought it to our table. She didn't charge me she left me standing there and proceeded to help the other customers. So disappointed with the service. We came in at 8:45ish last night and IDK who was back there cooking, but Denny's hasn't hit that like for me since I was a child! The cook last night made every craving I had hit every spot. They were short on staff but even our waiter was keeping up with ALL her tables on each side last night and I give her props. I just hope my cousin wasn't a cheap tipper LOL! Other than that, our fried foods was cooked PERFECTLY and our burger and sandwich was very well put together. HUUUUGE COMPLIMENT TO THE FREAKING CHEF! Today our server today at Denny's was Surena S. I have to say I have never offered or given a review to Denny's. I enjoy their food and it's very reasonable. However, the service is not always up to par. But in this case I have to tell you Serena S. was VERY attentive. She was friendly, and had an attitude warmth that made it comfortable to be here . I have been in the food and service industry for thirty years. I have owned a hotel in Vermont. A nightclub in Brentwood. So I have come to appreciate good service. What happened to this place? It use to be awesome! I came in at 2am.....yes am! There were a few people there, not many, I would say about 4 tables filled in the whole place so not by any means busy. Usually, I am greeted by someone that is upbeat but not this morning! Dude was an older, crotchety black man who acted like he not only hated life, but hated me for making him work. He was almost going out of his way to make me feel like he wanted me to turn around and walk out. Super unhelpful and just such a negative vibe I was considering leaving but had my heart set on French Toast! There were 3 workers there along with a chef in back and I literally waited over 15 minutes for 2 slices of French toast, 2 scrambled eggs and 2 slices of bacon! No one was there but myself and 2 tables yet took forever! Then, the food I finally got was warm at best and everyone disappears. I'm done, no bill, no one up front and I'm standing there waiting, and waiting and finally shout to the chef to ask if anyone was there? He healed for someone and still took a few minutes. I contemplated walking out but that's not my style. Needless to say, there was no tip and I'll just go to the Dennys off of Hwy 4 next time! I placed an online order through yelp. This order was never received so they canceled it. I called to place a simple breakfast order directly with the restaurant with simple instructions. The delivery driver or whoever handed the food over, gave the wrong order. I've now been hung up on and asked to speak to a manager never got one. 3 different times calling to just correct the order or get a refund. People were rude and we'll see if I ever get my money back. read more
