I went into Denny's on Somersville Antioch. I didn't have to wait long before I was seated. The waitress was very nice. When she seated me in the booth, the first thing I noticed was the food stuck to the table, so as the waitress go to get water and coffee, she comes back with my water and there was something stuck to my water glass. So she cleans the table and go and get another water in a cleaner glass. When she brings my food and I began to eat, I could tell the silverware felt slippery. WOW! I CANNOT say enough good things about this fantastic place! These people are BEYOND KIND, and the food is terrific! Let me just tell you how AMAZING Akshit is! I take my oldest two kids, who are adults and are both on the autism spectrum to this place often. The last time we were there, Akshit came out of the restaurant to make sure my son (who had decided to walk the other way), was okay!! Who does that!!?? You can't find caring people who go out of their way like that these days!! He is always so patient and pleasant. Walked in early Wednesday morning, immediately greeted by Vanessa with a smile at sat us at our table of choice. The tables, floors and bathrooms were very clean. She took our order which was two value slams. Eggs were cooked perfectly, scrambled and over medium. Bacon was crispy and the sausage cooked thoroughly. The smell inside was horrible, maybe it was just an off day but it smelled like rotten fish and old vegetables. It took awhile for my waiter to notice me but I ordered my food and it came out fairly quickly but the scrambled eggs look dry and unappetizing, the French toast didn't taste right. It took so long to get my check, I decided not to wait any longer because the smell of the place was as making me feel a little sick.
