First let be start by saying I Really enjoy eating at Denny's, now let me say, I really do not like this location. Hostess asked our name, didn't write it down, and seated people ahead of us. Once seated it took a long time for anyone to acknowledge we were here and take a drink order. Our waitress was rushed and seamed annoyed when we asked questions. Slow delivery of food. Once food arrived it had to be sent back. Cheese on omelette not melted and hash browns not cooked. Eggs taste like a serving of batch cooked scrambled. Antonio was our waiter and he was absolutely terrible.. bad bad bad service, it took 10 minutes to just get an ice tea.. he took a party of 10 before the drinks the chicken fried steak was burnt.. the eggs smelt rotten and was super mushy just nasty the ketchup was nasty too!!!!!!!! had many a late night eating a meat lover's skillet, and now a meat lover's bowl while enjoying a coffee and sobering up, or late night hang outs with friends here. Have never had any issues with the staff, or the facility, actually the only issue I have with the place is occasionally it's difficult to get decent parking. It shares a lot with a Motel, and there's a nightclub down the street, so it can get busy from time to time. Amongst 24hr dinner joints, this one is one of my go-to's. Side Note: Occasionally expect a drunken crowd, run off from the night club down the street. read more

We came here for the first time on Saturday night and I loved it. It's very retro but you can tell everything is actually new. The food was great (I love Grand Slams) but the best part was the hostess Jiovanna---she was super friendly and just very sweet! Keep up the good work!!! read more

Worst Denny's ever. Placed our to go order at 932am it is now 10:39am and the food was barely cooked after telling us is would be ready in 20 minutes. Not only that after handing us the food they still took an extra 10 minutes to get us a Dr Pepper and a hot chocolate. Canceling the order and asking for a refund! Be honest with your customers!!! Horrible service since the moment we walked in. Typical weekday rush, around 10am. It took more than 15 mins after we sat down for our server to acknowledge us. Once he did, he says "here's the waters you ordered" which we didn't ask for... then he was about to walk away again. I just let him know we were more than ready to order. The tables on both sides of us has been sitting there for a while also not being helped. Not even their drinks. Finally our coffees come and there's lipstick stains. When l notified him, he seemed upset, and took it back. Our food took longer then usual to arrive to our table. As we are eating, we noticed the 2 tables besides us, are just now having their order taken. We asked for coffee a few times, waved a mug in the air, asked repeatedly... finally walked up to the bar and asked the server there. They said "sit down, I'll take it to you right now." They still took more than 10mins to fill a mug. But as soon as we were done. They were sure to rush and clear off our table, quick at handing over the bill. As we were trying to still drink our just received hot cup of coffee. Never again here. Service was just awful. I'd rather drive a little further to their LB location, or Lakewood. read more

If I could give this location a zero I would. We were seated at a table with no utensils. Ms. Ruby (our server) served us our food without utensils. She proceeded to bring utensils to couple of people behind us who did not have their food in front of them. It was then she realized we had no utensils and made some BS excuse how they were washing the untensils and all they had was the plastic ones left. Haven't had this place in YEARS! This place, however, is review-worthy for memory's sake. Remember coming here to study for AP Bio with 2 friends (JMin & Ed) at 4am before every exam day. But without fail every time, we would end up ordering the bottomless cappuccinos and breakfast cause we're hungry. Then we would try reading the chapter popcorn-style, only to get thru 2 paragraphs. And finally resorting to find ways to beat the other students who actually got A's on the test. In the end, productivity was low; thus, not a study-conducive place. The fact I ditched every test day remains as proof. I'll probably never go back here. But I must compliment the 24-hour service and the numerous greasy, stomach-upsetting breakfasts I enjoyed here. read more

They have solid breakfast food, which of course, isn't the best breakfast food you'll ever have, but it's consistent, good and hasn't failed a late night craving once. Wife and I went to this Denny's restaurant and 16907 S. Pioneer Blvd., Artesia, CA on Thursday, February 11, 2016. We both ordered two coffees, water, and the Sr.Omelettes Both omelettes were very dry, they tasted like they had been cooked several hours before hand and kept in a warm oven in anticipation for a larger crowd earlier in the morning. The coffee was very good and our waitress Edith H. kept both the coffee cups and the water glasses full. She's a very good waitress and for a while it look like she was the only one working waiting on the customers. Nothing really stands out. It's like every Denny's out there, and that's how its supposed to be. Simple, relaxing, family friendly. I love Denny's food whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or midnight snack. It's a good environment you wouldn't mind taking your grandmother too. Just keep in mind you'll probably run into a lot of grandparents here. If you're like me, the amount of elderly people shouldn't bother you. What can get annoying are the impatient and rude people who swarm the place on weekends. The waitresses here are friendly and show hospitality. This is where my family and my family-in-law goes whenever we're craving Denny's. read more

THE TOAST IS SO BOMB. I don't think i've ever tasted burnt bread that tasted this good. I love the toast. I love coming here after hanging out with my friends late at night to grab a coffee and eat some toast. Usually after 12 AM there are a few people, but nothing to worry about, because there is a security guard who watches the restaurant. I love their $2 specials. read more

I've gone to this place a million times over the years, and well what can I say...it's Denny's. It's a college students best friend when you have no where to go late at night. It's slightly better than fast food, and you get free refills. The service was never great, but the morning servers are always much more nicer than the graveyard servers. I gave it three stars because of the location ( let's face it, it's ghetto and is next to a shady looking motel) and have had better service at other Denny's. I mostly go for convenience, and prefer it to IHOP. read more
