Worst restaurant experience ever...I've been to several Denny's before but by far this Denny was one of the worst. I usually never write reviews but this place was so bad from start to finish. Can't let this one slide. This place deserves another bad review. My boyfriend and I came here to grab a quick Sunday brunch and we both agreed it was a horrible waste of time. This place needs to shut down. Service was crap. Food was crap. We ordered a build-your-own slam breakfasy and waited more than 30 minutes without anyone coming to check up on us. It felt like we were forgotten and ignored. Our server, Luis, was hella abrupt and rude and pretty much threw our straws down and went off. When he finally brought our food, he didn't apologize once for the long wait. My boyfriend's order was wrong but the server still didn't apologize when he brought the food. Sunny-side eggs were hella runny and watery. Pancakes were cooked too long and a little burnt and hard to chew. Didn't even finish one pancake cuz it was so bad. Hash brown tasted weird like it was rotten. Toast was not toasted...the heck with that??! It was limp and cold. You don't just take pieces of bread outta the bag, slap on some butter, and call it toast if it ain't toasted -_- We went up to pay since we figured that if we waited for our server to come, it'd take another 30 minutes since he didn't come to check up on us at all during our meal. We went up to the wrong desk but the man at the front was also super abrupt as he told us to go to the front not his desk. Girl at the cashier register....also very rude. I mentioned that our server had gotten our order wrong but I didn't get to finish my statememt. She abruptly said that the price would remain the same because it didn't matter what 4 items we had ordered. It was irritating because she didn't apologize for their service mistakes and made it seem like the satisfaction of the customers didn't matter since the pricing would be the same. Food was awful but customer service was even worse. It seemed like our roles were reversed where we, the customers were trying to be polite while the servers were abrupt and rude. To begin with, we had to wait a while to be seated (considering that the restaurant wasn't that busy). Our server Faustino R wasn't very friendly to begin with while seating us. So after we were seated and ready to order. He didn't even come back and check on us. We had to ask another server to grab him for us since he hasn't checked on us once since we got there, and we've been sitting there for about 10 mins. Everything was still going okay up until I tried to order my food. I ordered Steak and Eggs and tried to substitute my hash browns for some bacon (which i was willing to pay the difference) but Faustino tells me RUDELY that I can only substitute for potatoes, but then the manager tells me a different thing later. After waiting for another 10 mins after ordering, it's about time we get our water. He later brings us our food, but then it takes him another 5 minutes to get our silverware. I called over the manager since they cooked my steak well-done vs. the medium rare I ordered. I talked to manager about the policy on substituting the hash browns and he told me i could substitute it for bacon, but they still end up bringing me the wrong thing by bringing me fruit. What pissed me off the most about this dining experience was when Faustino dropped off the seasonal fruit, He had the audacity to start arguing with me about my complaint to the manager. At this point I lost my appetite to even eat the food anymore and I just wanted to leave. The manager didn't do anything about the service issue. So much for "We put our guest's first" which is super ironic because it even said it on the Manager's name tag.The worst thing of all is that I'm a regular here that probably won't ever come back. read more

Horrible service Guadalupe took 10 minutes to give us 2 menus for four people then an additional 15 to take our order food took 15 minutes to make at 1 am there were very little customers was upset because we needed extra forks since the ones she gave us were dirty then chased us outside and said we had to tip her then she got mad because we told her no went off on us in front of other customers and kept saying what's wrong with your type of people? I came here yesterday morning with my mom for breakfast. Our server was Angela and let me tell you, I have never seen a server so enthusiastic. Anyway, I ordered a skillet with no meat. Our food took a long time in getting to us and it wasn't even busy. When it did finally arrive, there was bacon all over and that skillet doesn't even come with bacon. I told Angela about it and she apologized so much for it and took it back. Suddenly the manager and what I think may be the assistant manager came to the table to apologize and reassure us the correct food was coming. Angela had gone to tell them right away about my food! I got my plate back quickly and they waited there so I could inspect the food and approve it. Angela kept coming by apologizing and she was so gracious about it. We even laughed a bit because she took my wrong order very personal. She was fantastic. The manager was also very friendly and helpful. When we got the check, they had taken off my plate for all the trouble. Thank you, Denny's. Denny's, I hope you're reading this. Angela is a phenomenal server and I want her to be my server every time I walk in, okay? :) She's a keeper. Many thanks to the manager as well who did an excellent job in quickly attending to us. Been comin here since 1995.. Been the same since, nothin new, nothing better. Same ole breakfast menu besides the kids slushy fruit drinks. It really is just an after club grub place for me back then. Now my fam and I go for a full breakfast when there's nothing else open. The workers always forget the utensils for some reason. The parking is shared with the hotel next door that seems so old and creepy but the resteraunt is local so we pretty much rather eat faded near by then eat at another ghetto Dennys elsewhere lol. read more

Amazing service and food was great (for a Denny's). Very touristy here and there was about 10 people ahead of us but the staff did a great job clearing tables. People ate and were on the way out quickly, not the usual people hanging out at dennys that I am accustomed to. The only negative is my wife said the women's restroom was dirty and toilets were non functioning. Pretty typical for a busy Dennys! read more

This particular Dennys was not busy at all. We ordered our food and they gave me the wrong side... ok that's fine the waiter brought me the correct one after I told him... the food portion was very small for a dinner plate... I had to ask for my sauses for my dinner and my bread came all smashed... my mom asked specifically to make her hash browns well done and asked him three times before he sent our order to the kitchen and they did not come well done...suprise! We were never offered refills on our drinks... my dad got a steak salad and hated it... the portions were small and the meat was fatty... the waiter brought my dad a bit more meat because he was upset about it and my dad still didn't eat it because the poor quality... my dad sent it back and note' the salad wasn't eaten but a few bites...so this particular waiter either had gotten little training or is not good with customers... all he would say is sorry... he didn't seem at all interested in making our experience at the resturant any better... he just repeated the same words I'm sure he says to all the customers and I'm sure with the same enthusiasm... I could tell this guy is just there to collect a pay check... so last but not least he hands us the check and boom the salad was still on the bill ... we never asked for it to be taken off the bill prior to us getting the bill... but come on we already had a poor experience and the food was hardly eatin and your still going to charge us... man... talk about poor customer service... Jose Cabezas the store manager, is the rudest dennys employee i have ever met, he first said he would replace the order they messed up in day 1 we visited there. We called the location after we brought the food home, and the kids spaghetti and mac & cheese was so old and all stuck together. He told us on the phone he would replace the order, and if we couldn't come back the same day, come back 2 days later when he is working. So we come after 2 days and he says he will only replace the mac & cheese not the spaghetti because that's what we agreed on. He is a liar! Then continued that there is nothing wrong with his good and he didn't care what we thought! He kept defending his food and said it is the first time in 40 years he got a complaint! Good one dude! I've been coming to this Denny's for 4 years and they always have the best food and services. But on new years eve, I was disappointed. I had ordered the Hobbit meal and my friend ordered the ENDLESS soup and salad. We also had a coupon for one free beverage from The Hobbit card promotion. Our waiter, Jaime, told us that this coupon doesn't include a free orange juice (but im pretty sure it does). So I just went along with what he said and ordered a soda. Then our soup and salad arrived. As soon as I put the soup spoon in my mouth, our waiter, Jaime, came up to us and said that the soup is not for sharing or else we wouldn't get free refill. While waiting extremely hungry for my Hobbit meal to arrive, I tasted the soup. Then i asked our waiter for a refill because I felt bad tasting my friend's soup. But he said "No, sorry". My friend and I were only planning to get ONE free refill! How can this be ENDLESS soup and salad when we didn't even get a single refill? Denny's should change their menu to ONE soup and salad instead of ENDLESS soup and salad because it is false advertisement. Many of my friends have been telling me that IHOP is better than Denny's because of Denny's bad services. And I have always defended Denny's. Now I know what they are talking about. Worst place ever! The manager there JOSE is so rude and I Dnt even know how he became a manager because he definitely doesn't know the meaning of customer service. We were 13 people and literally only ONE person got their order right. The other 12 din even get what close to what we had ordered. The server name ANTHONY took our order for grill cheese sandwich and brings us club sandwiches. The frys were so old and disgusting! When we tried talking to the manager about it he completely ignored what we were trying to say and tried to argue back saying we din order right. WE CLEARLY SAID GRILL CHEESE TO OUR SERVER AND IDK HOW THE HELL HE THOUGHT WE SAID CLUB SANDWICH. Never have I ever received such a bad service at any other locations and always gotten what I ordered. I am definitely not going there ever again and definitely gonna share my experience with other people so I make sure they never go there. This is the WORST Denny's I have ever been to in my entire life. Now I been to a lot of Denny's and I don't expect a 5 course meal or spectacular service, but I do expect them to respect me as a human being and as a vegetarian. Typically when I go to Denny's I will order like a cheese quesadilla or something like the everyday value slam. The slam usually comes with a side of bacon and sausage but they always let me get hashbrowns instead. HOWEVER, at this Denny's they say it is against their "rules" to do so. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options for a vegetarian and most of them are pretty pricy for a place like Denny's. I go to these places with my friends because it's usually convenient and it's open 24 hrs but the terrible attitudes I received for not only the server but the MANAGER as well was very upsetting. Even after I had said I was a vegetarian he would not budge and actually walked away from my table. I immediately left after that. Very disappointed. Came here for my moms bday breakfast. There is a "free" build your own grand slam if you come here on your bday. My mom realized this mid way and ordered the fit slam. Besides that, the young female who seated us SOFIA is the one we took issue with. We just asked for a booth when she tried sitting us at a table and she gave us the dirtiest look and walked away without a word and threw the menus on a table. A server named Yu-ho took it from there. Seated us and provided excellent customer service through out our meal. When it was time to pay. But food would be out soon and hed be back to refill our drinks but never came back...so food came out cold and 2plates of 3 were wrong! We were so hungry by then we just ate it....then we asked to speak to the manager again cuz we were pretty pissed by then but this guy named david who is supposedly a manager just kept saying u guys want this entire meal for free!?!?!?!? Thats all he kept saying and we never even asked for that....we asked for someone to talk to about our shitty experience and hoped for a discount but we paid FULL PRICE and i said id call and speak to supervision. Waiter and manager were more intrigued in talking about there personal life, vacations and other jibberish than attending the 4 parties that were there not including a 5th party who sat themselves and kept trying to waive them down. I usually like coming to Denny's, but this time it was bad. I took my sister and her friends it. It was a big party it was about 12. First the waiter came and said that he knew that we were all getting water. That was already off, then they charged us 1 extra chicken stripes plate and 2 extra raspberry iced teas. I knew there was only 1 because I got the iced tea and I didn't even get a refill. I processed to tell the manager and he said that their were 6 and he knows because he handed them out. I didn't feel like arguing so I just paid for the plate and told him I didn't like their service. As I was heading out the manager called me back so that our waiter could say how many plates we got. The waiter proceeded to say that the two extra kids that came in got iced teas. Which was a lie because one of the kids only got dessert and the other just got a shake. He then said that the extra chicken stripes came from this other girl because she said she was missing them. That was also a lie the girl never said she was missing their chicken stripes, she said she was missing her ranch for the chicken. We never even received an extra plate. Then I asked the waiter where the sixth plate is then and he said "I don't ask your girl" which I found wrong because they were all way younger then me. Over just bad experience and bad service. I've been in customer service for 3 years and I'm studying hospitality management I know what good service is and I think that their were just trying to make us look stupid. read more

i'm not really reviewing this place for its food because i'm pretty over denny's. the only reason i ever go is because my mom LOVES denny's. anyways...this denny's has the best customer service ever. the past 3-4 times we've been getting seated in the same area with the same waitress. this waitress remembers us and always knows what my mom orders. and it's not like we come here on a weekly basis...we come once a month. so i give props the customer service at this location...i've always had positive interactions with the staff which made it pleasant even tho i really don't care for the food. read more
