Food was OK ! I absolutely recommend you go sit down and enjoy a good meal , if you order online for delivery it's a long wait (40+mins) and you're taking the chance of your food arriving a bit cold. And not pretty looking. read more

We had a craving for a Denny's double cheeseburgers so we ordered through them through Uber eats. We love Denny's burgers and ours did not disappoint. They arrived hot and juicy with caramelized onions and lettuce tomatoes and pickles. We ordered Bacon cheddar tots also which are to die for. I have eaten here a few times, usually in the evening or order online for pick up. I love being able to get breakfast any time of day or night. I came in with my parents later in the day for breakfast. We were seated shortly and the place was half full. Our server took our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to place an order. She checked on us numerous times and kept our coffee refilled, which is a big plus. I had the choconana pancake combo and took half of them home. Delicious. My mom got her favorite, the berry banana pancake combo. She enjoyed it, also. My dad had the breakfast that incl. the coffee and juice for about $10.99. We really like the pancakes. My review hasn't changed much. I have since learned the name of the table busser-- Hermelo! Hermelo is wonderful and deserves a raise. That's what this entire review is about. Hermelo has been there for at least ten years. His service is quiet and not one you may notice. He keeps the tables clean, and always does so with a gentle, calm demeanor. To my friends and me, he is the heart of this Denny's and part of what makes it great to visit. He has worked hard through this pandemic, and through all of our ups and downs over the last decade. I have never met this man, but I firmly believe he deserves to be noticed, praised and (as mentioned before) given a HUGE raise. His presence at this location is comforting. read more

So I've ordered from here before and it was good. This time they messed me and my wife's order. I ordered a pot roast melt. It came disassembled with 2 tiny slivers of toast for bun and it had no cheese like in the details. I couldn't even fit have of the small amount of meat on the bread. Ridiculous!!!! Went to Denny's today for breakfast. First thing I want to mention is our server. Sabrina is her name and she is excellent. She cheerfully greeted us, got our drinks and placed our order. She was attentive and gave us space at the same time. She knows how to treat customers and really seems to like her job. Breakfast was really good. They have some specials right now and got a delicious breakfast for less than $7 which these days is amazing. Food was hot and cooked the way we ordered. We decided that Denny's while maybe not a specialty breakfast local is consistent, (at least this location) and a great place for a reasonably priced meal. read more

Went out for breakfast, the wait was about 20 minutes which is fine. The front desk would barely mutter names and move on to the next party so at least we were sitting inside. Order a pancake meal and husband ordered grand slamwich, when food arrives half of mine is missing and they say the toppings for the pancake order I wanted weren't available and asked if I'd like to do something else. I asked if instead of pancakes I could just do the super bird sandwich and keep the bacon eggs and hash that my pancake meal would come with. She said "Well the super bird comes with fries, it costs the same if you do the sandwich fries." So I said oh okay, assuming since I was just eating egg bacon hash they'd waive those due to the inconvenience of waiting on the meal. The time to inform us that ingredients were missing is at time of order, not when the meals are being brought. So after waiting longer to get the super bird it's on nearly untoasted bread, but that's fine I eat (husband already finished eating but he was a trooper and let me try to enjoy the meal). Then, when we go to check out the waitress had changed for three meals not two, and said "Oh we'll take off $2 because no pancakes" in what world does bacon egg and hash cost $14 though? Especially since she said "The meal cost won't change if you do the sandwich instead" The front desk girls didn't understand the issue despite explaining we were told the meal would cost the same since we didn't get pancakes, maybe she didn't know how to explain it I don't know but at that point we weren't about to stick around and fight over it. They're busy and it's the holidays I get that, we just won't be returning to this location. read more

We went to this Denny's, and we had an amazing server named Stacy. She was very busy, but was still very attentive to us and our needs. She interacted with my daughter, while still following COVID 19 guidelines. I highly recommend her. She is kind, friendly, and a very down to earth person. We tipped well; yet, when we went to see about our receipt being correct and pointed it out that we did NOT receive our ARRP discount, the manager was rude and dismissive. Denny's has definitely had its finger on the pulse of what their customers want as far as food served/available as well as style and layout of the restaurant. This Denny's hasn't changed much over the years outside of the upgrades to furniture and fixtures i mentioned. The parking lot is still shared with the tire shop and can be kind of difficult to navigate during busy hours for both businesses. I visited here with a slightly larger party of 6 during lunch hours. My little one needed a high chair and the one which was brought to her was clean. The service was average...not stellar or poor...just average. Our group order was served correctly and all the food was decent for the price. I got a salad which was crispy and fresh. 8/10 will return if someone else invites me here. read more

The first denny's ive ever been too with a bar. As usual denny's food, but the bar area was very nice. Bar area had an old fashioned ambiance that did not feel like the typical Denny's restaurant. Not a place we come to. Ever. Except for free Grand Slam Day! Hubby likes his free birthday meal. I don't care to come on my special day as I do not eat eggs but anyways... The meal was fine. He said this year did not taste any more special than usual. They were out of almost every drink we tried to order, even the beer. I swear my one vodka cranberry had no vodka in it... Our server was ok but really appeared that she needed a day off. She seemed stressed. She forgot to bring the waters we had asked for but the manager jumped right on it. Interaction paying with the same manager was great. Super personable. This is a spot for quick meals. (Come to think about it, our food took awhile) Lots and lots of kids running around and jumping in their booths so not a place to relax and unwind. Denny's has gotten a bad rap over the years, but I seriously have been impressed with the quality of the food as of late. They have been trying to provide better food items and I have to say I am impressed. While Denny's food is far from the best a chain restaurant can offer, I throughly enjoy some of their options. I enjoy their nachos, premium chicken strips, burgers, and their Philly cheesesteak melt. This location in particular has been always very attentive to their customers and very accommodating. Plus, they have a full-on bar in The Old-Fashioned Room! I think it's genius that they have this here since you can drink and then get Denny's without having to drive? Pretty awesome. I've had a few drinks and they're not bad, to be honest. They actually use good whiskey for their old-fashioneds! Anyway, this Denny's is my preferred location since I live near it and I've never had a problem here, really. I've even used Uber Eats and Denny's on Demand and they have always gotten my order right. My only complaint was that a few times the food has been a bit too salty, but my server fixed it right away and the resulting entree was great! Poor customer service! Their system At seating people is inefficient! There are people waiting for long time. There is a lot of seats available with barriers to protect the customers but yet they are allowing customers to gather and stand. I was a single person and they didn't offer to let me sit at the bar, I didn't know that was available. Two people came in after me and asked to sit at the bar and they seated them. THE SECRET'S OUT We've been choosing this Denny's over all others for years. For one, they're located in an extensive strip mall, so before or after you eat you can shop nearby to your heart's content. Denny's Rosedale service has always been friendly and prompt. Food quality is good, and they have met any unusual requests I've thrown at them. Now for my secret -- eat in the back bar area. There are a number of black fake leather-covered booths separated from the bar area with a divider. There's a jukebox with an app - you can play almost anything. In spite of the jukebox, the atmosphere is usually fairly quiet (which I appreciate) ... weekends or after work drinking hours might be a bit louder. In both March and April we walked out of this place. This is the deal- we enter the restaurant, and no one greets us for several minutes. Looking out over both dining sections, there are 12 to 15 tables and booths clean and empty. Denny's Rosedale Hwy is warehousing customers in the little lobby. After about five minutes an employee comes over with a legal pad taking names for groups to be seated in like 15 minutes. Why??? There are hungry customers, clean tables ready to be used, sit the customers down. Does this make sense to anyone else but me? Maybe I am missing something. By the time the 15 minutes was up, we had already driven to another place, and were seated with menus. This place is close to our home, but for at least a while it is out of our rotation. Eh.. I can't even begin to state how many things went wrong today. Just to give y'all a hint, we've been here since 10pm, we got our food at 11:10, and we haven't been checked on once. I actually forgot what our waitress looks like. Our drink order was taken but only part of it was delivered. Finally after a while, 3 more came, then later, later the last glass of water. Nice. Our food, (goes without saying), took another while, but when it was finally delivered, all of it was luke-warm. Yuck! Then, he walked off but didn't give us utensils, I had to call them back to ask for some. Oh hey! Our waitress showed! Oh yeah, small detail: My wonderful pancakes had 2 small hairs under the edge..
