I've been here a couple times, and I order a salad with cheese, nuts & fruit in it. They put way too much dressing on it. I thought the last time must have been a mistake, but it was even worse. It's swimming in a strong fruity vinegar. Almost inedible, and I should have asked them to rinse it off. But I'm a masochist, and I don't like to complain. Service was nice. I'm a huuuuge fan of breakfast. I like it piping hot and served up delicious and authentic like grandma would cook up on a Sunday morning. This being said, I loved my breakfast here at Spencer's. Our coffee was kept warm and filled to the brim while we waited on our order. This is an important detail. The portion sizes are large and the food was fresh and so belly warming. My scramble had vegetables that weren't overcooked and mushy. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the biscuits and gravy was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was loud enough for our conversation to blend in, which is always appreciated. I would come here every day for breakfast if possible. read more

Came for a little date since it was the closest restaurant. We got welcomed in and everyone was so kind to us. We got seated immediately and our server was a lovely woman named Victoria. She was the best and so quick with our order. I got the pancake stack or sandwich I think, and my partner got the lumberjack. It was a cute little restaurant , it had a patio to eat outside as well. So I finally tried this place! I'd always see this place when I went to the UPS store and it seemed to have a good crowd during morning and lunchtime. I popped in on a Sunday just after 8:30 a.m. The restaurant was busy, but there was plenty of seating and I was seated right away. The restaurant is cool on the inside and has a lot of interesting decor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have a very large menu and serve all kinds of foods during the breakfast hours. I was looking around at other people's orders and noticed that the portions are huge. I ordered the Marion Berry crêpes with softly, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. I ordered a side of biscuit with butter and honey and coffee. The coffee is not bad and it was served nice and hot. When my breakfast came out, it was huge and definitely I could have shared it with somebody. The eggs were nice and fluffy and not overcooked and not runny... To the line cook or chef that prepared them. The pancakes are soft and fluffy and delicious, and the Marion berry compote was not too sweet. The hashbrowns were the best hashbrowns I've ever had, and I mean ever! Sidenote, the country potatoes also look delicious and I'll have to try those next time. The bacon is thick cut bacon, and the sausage links are the tasty sausage links not the Peppery sausage links so I was happy with those two. The biscuit was humongous and it was warm, firm on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It was delicious with butter and honey. It was so big. I only took a quarter of it and saved the rest for home. I really like this place and hope to go back and try other things. While I was there, I ordered the spam and eggs to take home to my son. My son, absolutely loved that breakfast. His breakfast came with a biscuit and side of gravy, which he also loved. We both agreed that we have to go back to try other things on the menu. Went here for breakfast with a party of 8 on Saturday, July 5th 2025. We got there at about 10:30am and we were seated immediately. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Prices were decent- between $16-$19 for most plates. Portion sizes were good - definitely could have shared. I ordered the combo skillet. Onion, peppers, mushrooms were all seasoned and cooked perfectly. Got biscuits and gravy with it. Gravy has decent flavor - biscuit wasn't as crispy as I would have liked on the outside and was a bit dry on the inside. Would get the skillet again - might opt for toast instead. All of us liked our plates. My wife said her chorizo breakfast burrito was a 3/5, my brother said 3/5 for the chilaquiles. Neither would get it again. My daughter got the Swedish pancakes and didn't like the amount of syrup/toppings they put on the crepes as it overtook the flavor of the crepe. Would come back. Early morning out of the house, so on the way home we dropped into Spencer's East Hills for a quick meal. Our server was the younger Shae! She is always like a like a breath of fresh air, smiling and joyful, polite and respectful. Richard had a small breakfast of bacon with two eggs. I on the other hand just hade retiring to have a Strawberry Waffle and two eggs. I also made Richard split an order of hash Browns! SEATING + WAIT TIME REVIEW: The restaurant needs a better system for getting orders in. We sat down and about 10 minutes later got our order in. Two tables around us had been here longer; one table got up and angrily left, the other got their server after a few minutes. From the outside you probably won't think it was open. The side is really nice and clean. Had the steak and eggs. It was good. The potatoes a little cold. My husband got the chicken fried steak. Hmm, considering all the positive reviews, I just wasn't that impressed. Hubby and I randomly had breakfast here this morning (we litterly got there 10 minutes before the crowd started rolling in (9:30am-ish), and it was already pretty crowded as it was.) Upon walking in the first thing that I noticed was that it's a lot more spacious inside than what the outside leads you to believe... and nicer too. Greeted by the friendly host who wore St Patty's Day jewelry around her eyes she was a pleasure to interact with. Quickly seated and given menus... They do have a good selection to choose from, basic diner type menu. I ordered over easy eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy, hubby got the Mexicali omelette with diced potatoes and biscuits and gravy as well... With an Orange juice and iced tea. Food came out pretty quickly but was Luke warm. The eggs and hash browns were pretty good, nothing that blew my mind, but good!! the BISCUIT (no S) and gravy was alright, my biscuit didn't taste very fresh, maybe because it was Luke warm? Or me maybe it just wasn't made freshly? IDK it just had a not so super soft texture to it... And the gravy, although it was good, reminded me of those county gravy packets you get at the grocery store lol. I recognize that taste! My dad used to make it all the time growing up!! Lol. And my husband said his omelette had no flavor, and the tri tip inside the omelette was a bit rubbery. He only ate half, didn't care to finish the rest. His potatoes were spot on though! Lots of good flavor with those! And the iced tea and orange juice were fresh tasting too. Overall it was just basic diner food, not bad, just didn't have any "wow" factor to it. My boyfriend and I came here and got the western burger and the country fried steak. The service was great, but the food fell flat. It was the worst western burger I have ever had. It was dry and tasted like freezer. The country fried steak was better than the burger, but that's not saying much. Mom got biscuits and gravy, and the serving size was so large it was almost laughable. (Think half loaf of bread, nearly.) Teresa (server) is a gem! This is a must stop if you're looking for a wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Large groups can be accommodated and expect to leave with leftovers. I ordered takeout due to COVID. Ordering was done over GrubHub and I really don't see how this place has raving reviews. Food is mediocre American food and was pretty bland. I ordered the Swedish pancakes which were just pancakes rolled up with strawberry's and creme thrown on top. It also came a eggs, meat and country potatoes. They serve really big portion sizes so that's a plus if you like leftovers! I'm sure if you had a pancake craving it would be a good place to go. I probably wouldn't come back here given the prices are a bit much for how underwhelming the food tasted. read more

Spencer's Cafe is an amazing breakfast spot. I ordered the linguica omelet, country potatoes very crispy with biscuit and gravy. It was delicious, the flavor or the linguica and crispy potatoes with tons of veggies were full of flavor in every bite. The biscuit and gravy had to be freshly made; I enjoyed the warmth along with a perfect cup of coffee. This place always has a wait time of about 5-10 minutes but it's definitely worth the wait. As for the waitresses are hard working and they always refill my coffee cup before I get the chance to ask. read more
