Went in to dine in but we over heard a customer complain that he had been waiting order 30 min for someone take there order so we decided to place a Togo order. That wasn't any better they got half our order wrong i tryed calling the restaurant to speak to manager that's almost impossible. They keep transferring me to a recording that say pls try agin later and hangs up. Horrible costumer service and horrible service! Portion sizes are crazy in comparison to what we gotta pay like it doesn't make sense. I also received my order not how I asked which isn't the biggest plus either. Save money and don't order delivery if you have specific needs bc they probably aren't going to pay attention to them. read more

We stopped in for brunch as it was the nearest sit down eatery for our group. It was 11am and the wait for our party of 6 on a Sunday was 30 minutes. We opted to wait. We were actually seated within 15 minutes. We were led to a table next to the station where they refill drinks and gather plates. We waited for a bit before anyone acknowledged our group to offer drinks. Our server finally came over and took our drink orders. When the drinks came back, the server then took our brunch orders. Besides my coffee, I ordered a glass of water. Evidently, our server forgot our waters and apologized. Denny's now offers BOLD and MILD coffee. The BOLD coffee wasn't even bold (FYI). I ordered a veggie omelet and egg whites along with an English muffin. When we got our meals, I was given wheat toast. When I questioned my English muffin, the lady who gave me my meal gave an attitude and said "I don't know." What kind of customer service is that? We had to ask for coffee and drink refills and our server barely came around. Our server was nice, but she really needed more follow up skills. AVOID on weekends. This place is near Knotts Berry Farm and apparently this places gets super crowded, which perhaps why the service lacked. Glad the parking lot is large enough with neighboring businesses that share the lot. read more

I went to Dennys recently and unfortunately came into contact with the manager Mary Anne she was very rude to not just me but also the staff she kept giving me dirty looks and made me so uncomfortable I didn't even finish my meal I will not be returning because of her and I advise everybody else to skip this location however I was helped out by Alex and he was awesome sauce, very well mannered maybe Mary Anne could learn something from him read more

An employee randomly vacuumed next to our booth while we sipped our drinks. There was a man taking cans from the trash as we tried to enter. Walking from the parking lot to the street entrance makes you pass by the dumpster smell. While waiting for the food we sat through someone's loud one-sided phone call coming from inside the kitchen. I didn't really care for the strawberry iced tea. Our waiter gave us the bill but no pen for the credit card slip. He didn't give us utensils either so I had to take them from a nearby table. The service is not excellent. We were almost given the next table's sodas. I wanted to get a BLT but couldn't add avocado. Of the Three dip and chips, I liked the artichoke one the most . Seasoned fries taste great with ranch dressing. We saved half of the Western burger. It needed some sauce but tasted too rich because of the onion rings. read more

Tonight for a super late late din din, Farf and I, went to this restaurant to eat after hanging out with friends from a Pokemon Go meet up! There wasn't any other restaurants that was open hella late at night, happily Denny's was! Not only did we dine in here but saw family here as well :) As we stepped into Denny's, it wasn't crowded and probably it's bc it was past midnight. We sat down at the same table along with our brotha from another motha's table which he also sat in as well. Waitress: Our waitress Miss M. was friendly and nice as well. She put on smiles for us and actually had patience on our dearest brotha who wanted her and was hitting on her too. Pinay pride is what we were, Miss M and I =D Fit Fare Fit Slam: I love how Denny's has a healthy entree selection of entrees called the Fit Fare. I most of the time order the Fit Slam if I want to feel and eat healthy. The egg whites, spinach, and looked like cherry tomatos all mix well with each other. Everytime I eat this I feel like I can ssllluurrrppp it down like Lickatung from Pokemon "A Girl's BFF" LOL It also comes with two turkey bacon, hashbrown, and 2 slices of english muffin. I always love putting their jelly jelly on their bread! I believe that we were the loudest in the restaurant and I love how Denny's has a plug-in thing where you can plug your cell phone if you brought a charger and same thing with a laptop and it's charger. I've heard great stories on how you can just study at Denny's and it feels like you won't get kicked out. Or you can simply play a fancy game of chesss just like how these two gentlemen did, fun! read more

Great service from our waitress and good wait time. However, the food was subpar. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam and didn't really enjoy it. The eggs and bacon were just okay, the hash browns were really oily and had an odd taste to them, and the ham was just bad (I don't like picking on my food too much, but I am just being honest). My spinach smoothie was great though and the seasonal fruit I ordered on the side (banana, melon, grapes) we're all sweet. Pancakes were good too. Overall, the only thing that might need some work at this Dennys is the food itself, but everything else was great. read more

We were feeling nostalgic and said why not. We just felt very disappointed. First, we got a cup of coffee in a cup that literally had someone else's red lipstick right on it. Drinks took really long to come out, about 15 minutes which is usually the time you expect for the food to come out. Regardless, food came out in a decent amount of time, but it was sort of stale and hard to chew. Nothing that I would want to eat again. We had a quick drive up from San Diego to East LA to pick up Dune Buggy exhaust and on the way back we needed something quick and right off the 5 freeway. I like their breakfast food, so we decided on this one. We were greeted promptly and chose a table inside with the A/c, and our lovely young waitress was kind enough to wipe down the table again. She brought our waters quickly and gave us just the right time to decide. I got the over easy, hash browns, bacon and pancakes, my bf got blueberry pancakes and everything was super fresh and delicious and our waitress was excellent too. Seriously the worst customer service EVER! Walked in with my family. We had 5 guests . 3 children between 12 , 7 and 5 + 2 adults . Hostess never acknowledge us and or greeted us or looked in are direction. She didn't asked.. just assumed how many guests we had . Started talking to two other Staff members (two women ) who started literally no joke slamming tables together rolling there eyes . I don't know why . I've never felt so uncomfortable at a place of business. Mind you there was only 5 of us she assumed there was 6 without asking how many we had. After she stated there was 6 of us I told her there was 5 only of us. (had she greeted us & asked us how many we had and if we wanted and table or booth a lot of time could've been saved) The other two women continued slamming chairs and tables together . They didn't communicate at all with us . When offered a table I declined and asked for a booth only because I didn't want a table and chairs so close to the front doors entry and exit way . That just pissed them off even more. I wanted a comfortable booth. The hostess when asked for a booth gave me A HARD NO without hesitation (she didn't even look) there were plenty of booths open and cleaned ! When I asked for a booth she said that there wasn't any booths available. Mind you there WAS. It was 12:30AM they're was plenty of comfortable seats even for being busy they had some available. Without hesitation, probably seeing how puzzled I was as to why everyone's so angry. Another hostess (very kind and apologetic) even though she didn't have anything to do with the situation she observed what was happening and stepped in to help deescalate the situation and was very respectful as I was the whole time we walked in, again just confused and not understanding why there was so much unnecessary drama . The other hostess stepped in told us to follow her and took us to a booth no questions asked, with out hesitation or disrespectful attitude and very respectful and apologetic..she stepped in told us to follow her and took us to a booth no questions asked. No attitude was given on are end idk what theirs two lady's problems where maybe tired still no excuse for the amount of unnecessary disrespect . The hostess that was polite and courteous and they both deserve a raise because they were truly amazing . We ended up leaving and not ordering food sadly because the amount of tension and unnecessary attitude tossing tables and chairs together literally slamming them around in frustration.(My kids were confused and getting scared) I'm unsure as to why still. They signed up for the job and a late shift . I feel like I was totally mistreated in front of my family! Unbelievable. I will never step foot in this denny's day or night due to the disrespectful staff they have . Sad sad world we live in. We actually ended up leaving and going to In-N-Out down the way extra mile or two but I can tell you it was best service and so refreshing compared to what we had just dealt with . Never again .
