I had the 5 pepper burger and it looks delicious but I couldn't finish it because it was so big. Our server was pleasant and delightful. Nice ambiance, nice smooth music, would return because of the service.

Denny's normally has a very large selection on their menu. It was a little disappointing tonight when we arrived to find that the once multiple page menu has been replace with a one sheet card. Its says temporary holiday menu but I have my doubts. Even with the short menu selection they were heavily promoting their turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Only to find that it was sold out. OK, enough with the negative as we actually had a great time there and our food was delicious! I had a new menu item called Big Dipper Melt and it came with perfectly cooked and delicious fries. The Dipper is a Tender pot roast with melted Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and mayo on grilled Texas toast. Served with French onion au jus for dipping. This was incredible! So delicious I am going to order it again on my next visit. I remember Denny's over many years now. It has evolved into a great eating establishment. Great food at a very reasonable price.

Best place to go when you're feeling down. I always get breakfast meals here but my boyfriend is in love with anything that has chicken in their menu. I've tried their breakfast and their steaks! Very well made. The service is good and they do regularly check in on you. Dennys is a comfort food to me and I'll always revisit when I want to stare at some pancakes and wonder if I should get a to-go. They have this nice photo on their wall that makes the place look pretty nice.

Maybe it was just a bad day for them today, but it was less than expected. Went with my wife and son for lunch. The young lady at the counter seemed to be having a bad day, at least I hope she was, because if she's like that every day, she shouldn't be working there. She had attitude and was short with us. It wasn't anything she said, but rather, the abruptness with her questions and overall demeanor. If we ordered anything on the side, or asked for something different than what usually comes on a sandwich, she huffed and eye rolled us. It didn't make us feel very welcome. We got a number and sat down and waited. When our food arrived, we were short one soda and a side of vinegar and oil. No worries there. I was taken back a little that we were charged 50 cents for water, $2.50 for one slice of Gouda cheese, and 50 cents for an oil and vinegar cup. There is also a 3% charge for using a credit card. The actual food was better before. My combo sandwich was somewhat bland. I remember the hot dog being bigger before. It went from a deli hot dog to a regular sized one. My wife thought the turkey burger was bigger before as well. Overall, I remember it being more flavorful in the past. My potato salad was still very good. The cannoli pieces were outstanding. The place was fairly crowded being Mother's Day, and the service was pretty quick. Turkey burgers take a while to cook. It's always lively but quiet in the restaurant which I like. I hope this was a one time dud experience, and I will be back, unless the cashier has another bad day, and the food is lacking taste.

I'm taking a star off because the coffee flight was disappointing. It was super cute, but lacked flavor. They need to work on using better tasting coffee. First, the food lacked any seasoning -- no salt, no flavor, no care in preparation. The food should at least be properly cooked and seasoned. Secondly, my mother has a caffeine allergy. She politely asked for a to-go coffee cup with hot water and lemon so she wouldn't risk contamination from an unwashed cup that previously held coffee. Instead of accommodating a simple allergy-related request, your staff (with management approval) refused unless she paid for the cup. That level of insensitivity toward an allergy is unacceptable. On top of that, I ordered a cup of hot water with lemon and honey and was charged $3 -- the same as if I had ordered tea, even though I didn't ask for a tea bag. Charging customers full price for a basic cup of hot water and two lemon slices is unreasonable and frankly petty. I could understand a small charge for honey, but $3 is excessive. I obviously asked for the tea bag at this point. It's clear that more effort is being put into pushing sales of alcohol, ice cream, and coffee flights than into serving quality food or listening to patrons' needs. If more attention were given to the basics -- good food and decent managerial service (the server was at minimum okay)-- you wouldn't have to nickel-and-dime customers for hot water or disregard allergy concerns. I will not be returning, and I plan to share this experience publicly so others are aware.
