I went in around midnight and placed a pickup order for an apple crisp. After I paid, I was told the oven was being cleaned until 2 AM and they wouldn't be able to make it. I asked for a refund, but was told only the manager could process refunds--and she wouldn't be in until 7 AM. I asked if I could get something else instead, but was told everything required baking. I then asked if they could issue a gift card for the amount I paid, but the employee said she didn't know how to do that either. I also asked for a receipt as proof of purchase, but wasn't given that either. At this point, I was uncomfortable--something felt off, and it seemed like the staff were under the influence. I left my name and number and asked for the employee's name so the manager would know who I dealt with. She hesitated and didn't have a name tag on. It looked like she was trying to come up with a made-up name, and after a while, she finally said her name was Alyssa and that the manager, Vanessa, would contact me. I never got a call, so I followed up around 3 PM. When I asked to speak with the manager and began explaining the situation, the call was suddenly disconnected. I called back three more times--no answer. When they finally picked up, I was told I had ended the call, which wasn't true. The employee then said she'd contact the manager and call me back either way--but I still haven't received a call, a refund, or even a receipt. read more

Food/ drinks were good but the service was terrible! We did have to ask them to remake the pancakes since they looked burnt and dark. The person in the front also told us it'd be a 20 minute wait so my mom went back to the car to get everyone in our party to come inside. During that time, they called us and we didn't know. First off Baby high chair was gross and sticky I had to wash it myself then we waited for 52 mins for our food that was not good I ordered a bone steak that looked boiled cold needless to say we will not be taking anything home I had to bring my plates we were done with to the waiter or something just awful. I love Denny's and I'll go every so often but this is my third time going here and I can honestly say that every time I come, I get the best service and overall quality experience that is subpar to any of Denny's I've ever been in my life. I just feel like it's more so a family owned restaurant than it is a big chain. Their manager or owner seems to be involved, but he is very nice and I've noticed he is quite friendly to his customers and employees. Their prices are also cheaper than other Denny's in the area. And like every other Denny's, the food is always great and up to their standards. Love it and I hope that the owner knows that he's doing something right here. read more

Came in at 11pm for a quick snack after traveling from Arizona. Now I'm not going to exaggerate because I know most people do, but I have been a GM at restaurants my whole life and to see the staff sitting and gossiping while me and my daughter sit waiting for someone to come get our drinks just frustrated me. It took 17 minutes for someone to come approach us. As I watch Food sits in the window getting cold, server goes in the kitchen talking to the cook instead of making sure customer service is met. Laughing and talking about non work related stuff. Now I know graveyard is hard to have staff do the right thing but that's when GM or PIC or assistant should step in and monitor what goes on. This will probably be read and not do anything about the night staff but I'm still going to write it. Your employees don't care and don't help the business at all. What will be done is nothing because it's hard to hire staff and I know this but come on, they represent Denny's. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars, Joseph B was the rudest least welcoming host ever. He sat my friends and I separately and YELLED at me when I asked to sit together. He made me wait 40 minutes until taking my order. Then forgot half my order once he brought it. I took some of my food to go and he gave me 4 knives and no forks. When I went back in for a fork he yelled and rolled his eyes and told me they don't have forks. Yelling at customers is unacceptable and I will never return to this restaurant ever again. I understand this is a dennys so not many standards to begin with but we came in a few minutes before 11pm and waited almost 20 minutes for just the drinks. We asked to order food while we ordered the drinks and we were told he'd come back to take the order. Not sure why. After watching him mess around for about 10 minutes he started making the drinks which were a milk water and hot chocolate. Brought hot chocolate with no whipped cream and we asked for him to put some on. He then took our order and we got 3 orders of pancakes. That's it. About 20 minuted later, after watching employees mess around and chit chat, customers walks round wondering the same thing we were, and food sitting in the window, we decided to cancel our order and leave. I understand food industry. I've been it it for almost a decade. But there's basic customer service standards and this was absolutely beyond less than that. We counted at LEAST 5 employees and not a single person stopped by as we were looking around for help or just a simple "sorry about the wait be over shortly" read more

The service today was horrible. Not once did the waitress come back to our table to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything while we waited for our food. I had to flag someone down every time. There was a lot of standing around and chatting by the waitresses so there was plenty of time for ours to check on us. The food was also less to be desired. The toast was cut in an angle that pretty much left almost no space to spread jam on it. The omelet arrived cold and the cheese on the inside wasn't even melted. There were only two cooks in the kitchen so I can understand why the food wasn't up to par. But there is no excuse for the lack of service and the toast. read more

August 8th, 2021 - Sunday 9pm we came in to have a very heavy late dinner. Inside is pretty clean. We ordered: NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN MELT along with Onion Rings - $13.28 THE SUPER BIRD along with Seasoned Fries - $12.58 Both entrees were quite heavy, onion rings seemed as if I was just eating a bunch of oil. Nashville hot chicken melt just didn't go well with tomatoes not a good combination. Was too soggy and when you finish the sandwich the other one gets super cold. Super Bird was alright too, Turkey and toasted wasn't the right combination either. Overall was just too heavy whatever we ordered. Will come again but not to order too much greasy food. read more

Came in for dine-in for the first time. The food was bland and overpriced. The waitress was also rude. I ordered one of the burgers and the cook forgot to put on sauce. I let the waitress know and she tried to tell me it doesn't come with any sauce. So I showed her the menu where it says what sauce it was supposed to come with. She then tells me she will take it back to see what the cook can do. I'm sorry... but I have never had a burger that came plain without any condiments. First our server is not wearing a name tag... and after being talked to the way he just spoke to my friend and I regarding the use of a pen( I grabbed a pen from the pen jar on top of counter ( I'll post pic ) I needed to write something down before I forgot it and since no one was to be found I thought the pens were free to use, I had no intention of taking said pen and as I was writing our server ( said his name was German but our receipt says jimmy p??) bought out our food which caused me to put the pen down and move over my notebook to make room for my breakfast. As he (German jimmy p whoever ) came to drop my friends food he said in a very rude and embarrassing degrading manner and made me feel pretty uncomfortable and embarrassed because I knew everyone was listening to him telling me off over a pen! Literally. Vulgar. Now I feel as though everyone looking at me as a pen thief and I'm really shocked there's no manager here to even talk to about this. Clearly he hates his job because I've been nothing but polite and even apologized and asked if he needed the pen back at that very moment because I was just using it to write down what I didn't want to forget... he snatched it from my hand. MY ENTIRE MORNING AND BREAKFAST HAS BEEN RUINED. I'm in the service industry and I've never been made to feel like an ant being the guest in a restaurant. I'm very disappointed in the quality of people dennys has started to employee... I mean lying about his name ? Pictures down below.
