Stopped by to have a late breakfast. My waitress name was Yvonne. I sit down and she did not great me, tell me her name or even welcome me to Denny's. I ordered the Grand Slam and when my plate arrived of course it was wrong. I told her I wanted cheese on top of my eggs. Another thing she didn't even ask my meat choice she just brought me bacon. OMG now she brings me what she wants to & I have to pay for it and my eggs were cold. This waitress needs better customer service skills. Yvonne never came back to the table until I finished eating. Finally she brought me a ticket and didn't even ask if I needed anything else. I did notice the other waitress that was working knew her job and was good at her job. I truly wish this could be 0 stars... After waiting at the front register for 29 minutes with no one coming to take my to go order.. I walked out and left to go to IHOP... Not only was I waiting but a party of 3 waited 25 minutes before being given their menu and told to seat themselves.. Yep you read right.. They were told to seat themselves..... There were others waiting to pay and leave but no cashier available..... Only come here if your waiting for hell to freeze over... So the reason I am giving this one star is because I CANT GIVE 0!! We went there thinking it was going to be a normal Denny's experience but NO.. as I was eating my food I look off at the floor and see a roach about an inch long crawling under the both next to us. And I was immediately discussed and I decided to just stop eating and leave as soon as possible. But LITTLE DID I KNOW, my brother across from me had a roach on his shoulder and he felt it crawl on him. And he swiped it off and stepped on it !! While walking in the front door the lady at the front desk rolled her eyes , grabbed two menus and walked away . No greeting or anything! We followed her and sat down at an extremely sticky table and when i asked if she could wipe it down she said "I guess"! When our food came, it was cold and extremely undercooked! The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was very good. They have improved their pancake recipe.

Horrible service I waited 20 minutes for my order to be taken and a another half hour for me to get my order I only ordered pancakes with strawberry jelly and when I finally got them they were cold and didn't even have the strawberry jelly. Everyone working there at the time kept ignoring me even tho I clearly needed assistance. Don't waste your time or money here its the second time this has happened to me. read more

Giving this place 1 star because ZERO stars is not an option. Absolutely horrible service. Sat down, the waiter took our order and we waited a whole HOUR just to get our food. We kept seeing other tables that were seated after us getting their food, 3 tables to be exact. But, we waited because we didn't have to want to get up and go wait at another restaurant to get food and our son was very hungry. When we finally got our order, On my plate I asked for shredded cheese on the egg. Egg came back with a slice of cheese thrown on top. I let the waiter know it was incorrect, I wanted shredded cheese. He comes back with the same plate of egg with the slice of cheese on top AND shredded cheese! I just told him to cancel the order and an order of blueberry puppy pancakes that had not even arrived yet. At checkout, we informed the rude and unpleasant female manager of such experience and she just brushed it off and said "i apologize, theres a 51 min wait total". I should also mention, the couple next to us left their table when they got their order wrong and surely also must have had a bad experience. When after church although there were only four other guests in the restaurant service was very slow it took us 50 minutes to get our food the steak was tough everything else was cold don't think I'll be going back anytime soon waitress was very sweet about the only good I have to say. read more

My friends and I stopped by here around lunchtime, and to say the least it was the worst service we've ever received. The waitress was extremely rude to the point we thought it was a joke. My friend wanted a simple cheeseburger and the waitress said "Oh, well if you don't see it on the menu you can't have it". So basically if we didn't order exactly what the picture was then we couldn't have it. I mean what if someone's allergic to something, you can't take it off?? No refills, and no table touches. We asked for a side of ranch and she said "There's ketchup right there". I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but It was like she just didn't feel like doing anything. I had ordered chicken tenders and part of it was frozen. My friends food was cold and the waitress brought out the wrong food to my friend and she didn't want to fix it. Not to mention our food took at least 30 minutes to get out. We didn't eat any of our food, and told them there was no way that we were paying based on the treatment we had received. The so called manager started to call the police and we were going to stay to talk to them until she started to get our faces and curse at us. We were explaining everything to her and she said "You received food, right". We walked out and the waitress and the manager went after us. The manager kept trying to grab me. Remind you, we were the only customers there. I only saw 2 employees in the whole franchise. I've never not payed for my food but we felt that they should of been paying us. I work at a nursing home not too far on the corner from this Denny's am I old people really wanted IHOP but I said no let's go to Denny's they have better prices and a better menu and now I'm regretting my words. First of all we got seated and nobody greeted us even until 15 minutes of us sitting there the Mexican girl that served us rolled her eyes made it seem like we were a burden on her because I had a few Wheelchairs and as I'm talking to her trying to explain something to her she turns and starts another conversation somewhere else. We finally get our drinks and after sitting there for almost an hour we still have no food on our table she told me she was going to get me a refill and then decided to clean 3 tables and sweep mean while I'm waiting and it's not very busy. So I complain to management and this girl has the nerve to bring me over for unsweet teas instead of just refilling one and then when I try to call her back over she keeps walking and doesn't say anything to me so again I go to the Expo line and complain to the manager. She then goes behind the Expo line where no customers can see her and starts yelling that how I was wrong and how my seniors were wrong and everybody in the restaurant can hear her including me. So I went up to the manager and told her I just heard everything and that's not very professional and I didn't appreciate that and went ahead and let her know that we would never be coming back to this Denny's ever again. My residents were treated with disrespect and so was I. We(party of 4) waited about 50 mins after ordering to get our food. The waiter was attentive but missed a few specifications. We understand that people make mistakes however, Denny's was understaffed and unprepared. The food was mediocre as it was very greasy and not properly seasoned. read more

Came in and sat at the table for 16 min without anyone coming over to greet us. I started my timer after sitting there for about 5 minutes with no one coming over. Correction waitress (Brenda) came over to collect a tip left by the previous table, never even acknowledged us, said hello or ill be right with you. Just collected her 4 bucks and walked away, fast forward she now comes back to the table after a while we had plenty of time to look over the menu so we know what we want to drink and eat. we proceed to order drinks. my daughter wanted a shake and what was Brenda's response? Came in with my family for Sunday lunch, waited 45 minutes before our waitress came to tell me they could not get my chicken fried steak out of the freezer so I would have to wait, asked to have my family's meals brought out. My family ate and my meal had still not arrived. We entered waited in line about three minutes to give seating name and number. I wanted Dennys, I told my husband because I love the freshness of the food. IHOP and Dennys have the best fresh food. I ordered two Value Slams with two waters. The couple sitting next to us ordered before we did. Not alot, coffee, oatmeal etc.. The waitress immediately bought our food out. I ask for scrambled eggs. I received pre-made folded old eggs. So did my husband. I asked the waitress to for hot food. The pancakes, sausage and eggs were all cold. The manager at this location act as if she care nothing about the customer but a tip for her Hispanic employees. Hispanics here get great service and fresh food. So since my food come out cold I asked for hot food. I still didn't receive scrambled eggs but the same pre-made eggs before but hot this time. Do not get the value.meals they are pre-made!
