First experience..I've been told "if your feet don't stick to the floor, it won't be good". We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Our waitress had a wonderful personality. Our food was ordered and out within 10 mins. I ordered the all American and I was impressed. The eggs with cheese were so good. They weren't watery or runny but flavorful and fluffy. The hash browns were soft and crunchy just like I love them and I didn't even ask for them that way. The pancakes were very flavorful too. Light and fluffy with a perfect amount of sweetness. I was really hoping for a better experience. After reflecting back a few days later, I'm bumping up from 1 star to 2 mostly because of the pleasantness of the hostess and our server. It's my first time at this restaurant. This restaurant open 24 hours. The store is cleaned and organized. The staff is kind and friendly. My mother and I ordered Cesard salad with grilled chicken. When our dishes came salad was on big plate and grilled beef came later with another plate. When we mixed my salad with its dressing we found many bruises vegetables were hidden in the bottom of the plate. About 1/3 of my vegetables were bruised. I picked them out and put them on the table. It would have been a pleasant experience with the staff minus the fact that the food was not up to my standard. I would never come back at this restaurant. On arrival there was a guy out the front, sat on the curb, smoking weed. It stinks, so pretty easily identified by smell alone. He looked like the chef.. but we thought ok let's carry on and see! Thankfully he wasn't the chef, he was the bus boy - not a great look for the restaurant / chain. Clearly his high state didn't make him so good at his job either, tonnes of dirty tables and when he cleaned the one next to us, he was so noisy about it and left a puddle of water from his bucket on the seats. Not our first choice for breakfast when exiting I-4 at US27 but offered immediate seating instead of a 30 minute wait in a rocking chair. It was cold in here with lots of condensation on the windows. The place was probably ¾ full and lively. There was also a guy going around making balloon animals for the kiddies. My wife picked the American Slam and I went with the French Toast Slam. Both arrived fairly quickly and looked appetizing. My only complaint is while it looks like you get a lot from the menu description in reality you don't. The sausage links served were the smallest I've seen and the bacon strips equally dinky. Service was initially cold but warmed up towards the end as we chatted up our server. One weird thing is they serve the syrup in vinegar bottles that dribble out the syrup at a snail's pace. More annoying than anything else. I don't recommend this location AT ALL! Gave us dirty utensils and food was bland. I knew at first taste it was going to be the runs when I got home. I've been on the toilet ever since. Staff was nice, but nice ain't gonna help my tp replenishment. The server the young lady named Ray was amazing she was on shift by herself serving about 10 tables on her own. Ray was like Jordan in the flu game she attended to every single table kept a super friendly demeanor communicated very well with customers that were incoming and outgoing, noted a young child who won a stuffed animal from the machine, she was on everything. She had all right to be frustrated and lose her cool and composure but she is remarkable. A true gem. She set the bar very high for her coworkers and other servers. I have not had the experience with the others but if they are anywhere near Ray's professionalism then this is the place to be. But Ray alone got this place 5 stars from me. I hope the manager is reading this and please either give her a promotion or raise because where ever she goes she will be a cornerstone to that establishment. Visited this location around 12:00 pm today 07-29-2023 waited about an hour for our food. We had two adults, two children. Two children's meals and two lumberjack slams. The food was extremely over cooked and cold but we decided not to mention it although we didn't eat much of it all. We had our 1 pound puppy with us who we left in the air conditioned car so when the server brought our check my mother went out and got our puppy. He was only sitting on my mother not touching anything in the restaurant and again we were on our way out with our check in hand just waiting on the to go box because we didn't eat the food. The female manager came to the table rude, extremely loud and obnoxious asking if the one pound puppy was a service dog and stated that the dog couldn't be in the building unless we put him under the table. By this time she's so loud and obnoxious that the entire restaurant is looking at us and she still being obnoxious at this point. Finally got the to go box and started to the checkout desk to pay where two more of her female employees come over and are also loudly speaking about how they know Florida laws about (service dogs) other customers are feeling anxious and trying to get out as we're all waiting to pay as the loudness continues. We did get to the point that we started speaking to our own defense as well as other customers speaking on our behalf because the staff was beyond rude over a very small puppy. I have never in my entire life encountered service as horrible, terrifying, obnoxious, rude and rather frightening from management or staff ever. This was by far my worst restaurant experience. Overall rating would have been 4 stars if our Eat and Play 20% discount was honoured. Use of the 20% discount was the reason we dined here today. However, the server at checkout was insistent that a scannable code was required and that she couldn't provide the discount. If a zero star was possible i would. My wife and i live in the immediate area and often choose to go to other establishments due to poor service and food quality visits several years ago. Today we went at about 1030am and they had a 20 minutes wait which was expected and not an issue. We were sat and the waitress took our drink and food order without concern. I could tell she was busy so we made it a point to acknowledge anytime she said it would be a while ect ect. She brought my wife a coke and not the Diet Coke she ordered which for many wouldn't be an issue but to a diabetic this a significant problem. The food took 40 minutes to make it to the table and based on the staffing shortage in most places i understood. Unfortunately the hash browns were cold, my eggs were well overcooked and she never came back to check on us until she delivered the bill. I asked if it would be easier to recook my eggs or adjust the bill simply because i knew she was in the weeds and didn't want to make it worse. She immediately told me that she couldn't take the eggs off the bill since they were eaten. How else would i have known the yolks were solid without cutting into them?? I asked again if the could be recooked or the bill adjusted and she then caught an attitude so i asked for the manager. I was told the managers were unavailable as they were cooking. I didn't feel like continuing to escalate the situation with someone who was unable or unwilling to provide a solution so i asked for the check and a box for my wife's leftovers. She can back and tossed the box with check on the table and i do mean tossed. Food quality bad service worse so i recommend visiting first watch in Posner Park. read more

We were seated quickly which is great. Explained our sever several times what we wanted and as she repeated the order it was incorrect. Thanks that she repeated the order. Food came out cold and portion was extremely small like if we ordered from the kids menu. I ask our server " what's up with the portions? " her reply, that's more than usual. The staff is always super friendly and the service is quick and genuine. I always go for the build your own grand slam, you can't go wrong! I would say 90% of the time I get a breakfast meal instead of lunch or dinner. My boyfriend likes the sandwiches. And if you get lucky they will make you the classic fried cheese melt! I live near this Denny's so I am a frequent flyer, and I can say I have never had an issue with a single order here. Always comes out hot and comes out fast. We call it "the good Denny's". I highly recommend visiting this one. And it's always very clean, even the bathrooms are kept it tip top shape. Don't pass it up!! read more

This place was a total waste of time. After being seated we never got attended by a waiter even after 30 minutes having passed by. We asked for our waiter and a women finally came. I turn a seen my server (Carol) pick up toast that had fallen on the floor and placed it on a customer's plate and served it to them. I told the customer about it and challenged the server. Beverage order, entrée, which was taken in that order, and delivered in that order. Waitress was JENNIFER, whom usually is the hostess, but was assisting today, and did a paramount job. Repeatedly freshened our coffee, and my wifes hot water ( for tea ) without being asked. PROFESSIONAL !!!! I also noticed the floor staff and manager worked hand in hand, which always makes for great establishment harmony. This is a plus in any business. GREAT JOB, KEEP IT UP. I have never been to a Denny's before so I wasn't sure what to except. Had to wait a little to be seated but not too long. Waitress seemed pleasant, but did not write our order down so we knew our order wasn't going to come out correct. I asked for extra crispy bacon and even after sending it back once, it still wasn't right. Didn't get the whipped cream that was supposed to come on the pancakes and husband didn't get his toast, but no biggie. Drink refills were few and very far in between. The main issue was that my daughter ordered chocolate chip and banana pancakes and they did not serve them with the rest of the food. They were brought out 30 minutes after everyone had finished the rest of their meals and they didn't even have any bananas available. We ordered by 12:15PM and she didn't get her pancakes till after 1PM. I do not recommend this place and we will definitely not be back. read more
