    This robot brought our breakfast!

Is a five start review reserved only to fancy restaurants? Denny's says no! Great pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon, it doesn't get anymore Americana than this. Brought to our table by a robot straight from the 80's, and a super friendly server -I regret forgetting her name- that made us feel very welcomed, and kept our coffee hot. Speaking of coffee; it's that good dinner coffee that takes you back to the days before coffee costed an arm and a leg. I'm going back tomorrow!

The jalapeño stem with the pancakes Jr. Premium Chicken Tenders 55+ Scrambled Eggs & Cheddar Breakfast

Visited after church, granddaughter was visiting us. Ordered the Lumberjack with choconana pancakes, the special He-man meal with chocolate mint ice cream ( she loved them). I ordered the cheese egg scrambler with pancakes. Waitress was friendly when she came to table but not over enthusiastic to serve us. Was more interested in sitting at a table near us with her family. Asked for a box due to was unable to finish pancakes, was loading pancakes in container picked up last one to put in and a jalapeño stem fell back on plate. Was going to make the pancakes for husbands breakfast but wasn't able due to he is allergic to any peeper contact. Informed waitress , who informed she would tell kitchen but proceeded back to the table with family. Also informed manager on duty who did nothing but apologize and said he would talk to verbal manager. I'm more disappointed with the brush off attitudes, than anything else.

The server who attended me was very friendly and quick. The food was also great -- perfect for a late-night breakfast. Highly recommend!

While Denny's doesn't have a great reputation, I've actually grown to like it. This one was perfectly fine. There's plenty of free parking and my wife and I were seated immediately. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant was clean and of course the prices aren't bad. The food was actually pretty good so no complaints from me. Knowing it's a Denny's helps. I went with a Crazy Spicy Skillet, which was cooked perfectly and I had enough leftovers for another meal. My wife had a veggie omelette that she enjoyed thoroughly.

3.5 stars for an overall a positive diner experience. The service was quick and efficient. We had to put our name down for a wait on Saturday morning but were seated pretty quickly after waiting 5 minutes. I got the grand slam. The pancakes were good but could be flufflier and had a slightly overdone taste to them. The fried eggs were my favorite part. I ordered over medium but the yolk was very runny when it arrived. I didn't mind but if you want a solid yolk, you may want to order over hard. The bacon was not very warm when it arrived but tasted fine. They have cute christmas decor and booth seating. They also had a cool server robot bring food out to the table next to us (supervised by a staff member).

12/17/23 Very busy in here, but I feel great and I now have lasagna and red potatoes with fajitas mix on my mind Yum.

12/17/23 David Menashi once asked "how's the pasta?" This was back at The Gow School Summer Program in 1993.  Well Mr. Menashi, I can honestly say "it's magnificent" or better yet  "é magnífico."   Yesterday, I was looking at the Double Blue Berry Pancakes, but decided I wanted Meat Lasagna.   The Denny's Lasagna is a fairly new item added to the menu, but it is worth the 20 minute wait for it. This delicious meal starts at 11am and continues to 11pm.  Guess the oven needs to be cleaned up at some point in time. Enrique, our server was right on point with what was going on in the very busy restaurant. I got good vibes from him and so did my wife. We also learned that David stepped down from being the store manager.   He has been in the  managerial role for 15 years. It was strange to see him as a server, but he seemed a lot happier  and less stressed. This experience has been a tremendous improvement.   Our last experience wasn't so good.  I am happy things are back to bing crazy busy at Falls Church Denny's.   We will be back again on a weekend.

There's a burrito place inside here called Banda Burrito. Their burritos are always PACKED with the ingredients they say on the menu that'll be in there. The burritos are hefty. The Chips and Nachos are good too. Chips are crispy but not burnt, the nachos have the usual peppers but it's not as heavily spicy as others I've tried, it's simply just your regular salsa con queso. Banda Burritos is one of my go-to take-out places on DoorDash, I order from them at least once a month For the amount of money they charge you and how much food you get with the combos, it's definitely worth it. I'm not sure why it never pops up on searches on Maps but it's inside Denny's and it's definitely worth the try!

I have not stopped by this Dennys location in over 5 years now.. Dennys National promotions got me there... this location is independently owned and doesn't accept those promotions... The server was amazing, the food was exactly as I ordered.. the restaurant was very clean Thank You

They have a breakfast/brunch menu, a daytime/lunch menu, and an evening menu and you can watch them preparing items in the kitchen. You can either eat inside or outside on the patio, and they have heaters for the cooler days. We came here to get some baked goods mid-afternoon and they still had a good selection. The bear claw was large and tasty with an enjoyable cinnamon flavor and the lemon meringue croissant was unique and enjoyable as I'd never had a croissant with lemon meringue filing. They weren't cheap but they were tasty and enjoyable. I did want to mention they have parking but it's hit or miss on getting a spot since it can get crowded so walking might be easiest if you live nearby. I'll come back here again for a meal and to try some other items on their menu.

I really wanted to love this place…read more My family and I chose to come here for Easter because it's dog-friendly -- which felt like the perfect combination for us. They even have a dog menu, and the patio setup is honestly beautiful. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and aesthetically on point. The staff greets you right away, and first impressions were genuinely great. We chose to sit outside on the balcony so my puppy could join us, and that space alone is worth noting -- fire pits going, cozy atmosphere, just really well done. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered food for all of us, including my daughter and my puppy. My food and my puppy's food came out fairly quickly, but my daughter's meal never arrived. After waiting quite a while, I had to flag down the waiter, only to be told -- after the fact -- that they didn't even have what she ordered. At no point before that did anyone communicate this. So now she has to reorder, and we're waiting all over again while the rest of us are already eating. When her food finally arrives, there's no silverware. Just... dropped off with no thought to the fact that she actually needed utensils to eat. We also ordered lemonade, which was great -- but when the waiter offered to bring more after the issues, it never came. To try and make up for things, they brought out a dessert that looked beautiful, but when we asked what was in it (due to food sensitivities), the waiter had no idea. He eventually came back with an allergy sheet, which felt like an afterthought rather than informed service. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, the waiter told me, "I just got out of trouble -- what can I do to make this right?" That response alone was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. We ultimately just had my daughter's meal removed from the bill and decided to move on. Even my puppy's waffles -- which was one of the things we were most excited about -- came out slightly burnt. Overall, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing because the space and concept have so much potential. Unfortunately, I can't overlook the service issues.

It has become the definitive home base for several of my local groups, and for good reason. The "No Agenda - Just Coffee" Crowd Since October 2025, this has been the quarterly meeting point for a group I help organize (2 entire meetings so far!). We bring together a mix of IT-centric CxOs, startup founders, innovators, govtech, thought leaders, and industry insiders. The beauty of the space is that it handles the "no structure, no rules" vibe perfectly. We show up, grab pastries, and just hang out. It's a low-key break from the grind, and the staff handles the morning rush with impressive efficiency. The Sunday Morning Tactical Post-Game Every Sunday at 6:30am, Northside serves as the rally point for our F3 The Capital workout group. We split up--ruckers head one way, runners another--and we all converge back at the shop by 7:30am. There is nothing quite like hitting the patio after a solid session for coffee, tea, and a high-quality breakfast. The Menu and My Personal "Hack" I've been significantly more health-conscious this year, so I generally keep the order lean. My go-to is a standard drip or an Americano with exactly one pump of vanilla. If you are looking for a meal, the avocado toast and poached egg sandwiches are objectively excellent. However, if you want the best thing on the menu, order the cheddar chive scone and ask them to heat it in the oven. It is a game-changer. The Vibe It has a genuine neighborhood feel. You'll see a broad spectrum of people--from tech folks on laptops to workout groups and families. It even transitions into a great bar scene in the evenings. It's consistent, high-quality, and remains my top recommendation in Falls Church.

Delivery review ahead!…read more I have not yet visited this place in person so I'm unsure how it is inside and how the service is. Delivery: well packaged for a long trip to DC and it remained fresh and hot. Food: Sweet potato tater tots El Lomo Saltado Both of these selections were AMAZING! The sweet potato tater tots were genius! Perfectly prepared, packing flavor in each bite. The El Lomo Saltado was DIVINE! Allow me to break down the flavors: Biscuit: gosh this biscuit was buttery and soft. And yes, the juices from the steak did not make it soggy. But back to the biscuit...the top was flaky and the inside was soft! Soft and buttery. Egg: I asked for a well done fried egg (the main dish contains over easy) the egg was perfectly cooked and delicious. Steak: the steak pieces were generous and the seasoning on the meat...dangerous! There was a slice of provolone cheese melted on the egg and the sandwich also contained pieces of potatoes and tomatoes inside. All of the flavors in this biscuit meshed together so well, making this a reallllllllllllllly good sandwich. Now I'm sold! What other fun dishes can I try on their menu?!

While a scramble sounds simple on paper, it is easy to overcook the vegetables. This one was executed perfectly, with every vegetable done just right. The thin-sliced potatoes were highly seasoned and stood out, moving away from the standard, heavy breakfast spuds you get at most places. The presentation across the board was excellent. The latte arrived with a nice touch--a small side cookie and a club soda to cleanse the palate, which shows a level of intentionality you don't always find. We were told we could sit at the bar or outside, but when we asked for one of the open tables, we were denied because they were "reserved for parties of three." That just doesn't make sense. We're still paying customers, ready to order food and drinks. Denying service like that--especially with empty tables in plain sight--feels unnecessary and rigid. I even asked twice, hoping for a little flexibility, but the answer didn't change. I work in the service industry, and this is exactly the kind of situation where you make an exception or use some common sense. Instead, it felt like policy over hospitality.
