It's a nice place we like it but then it's just gives me a little awkward feeling about can't eat personal food from outside which I understand its the business policy but Im preggy so am Like a picky eater as of this moment. I ask the staff if I can eat my personal food from outside he says no but then he explains me why and he called the manager. We just got a DoorDash order of food from here and I tell you what if it's not the most inedible thing I have ever seen in my life! $80 for 3 people is ridiculous! You get pancakes no syrup, no butter absolutely drier the Sahara desert. The eggs taste like gasoline and burnt rubber. The chicken tenders don't even think about it, tastes like scraps scraped from the bottom of the oil with no dipping sauce. If you get a side of hash browns the top looks good just don't flip it over, completely uncooked white hashbrowns. We will absolutely never ever eat here again! read more

My husband and I came with a friend to have dinner. When we sat down we had a manager come and reprimand our friend for something. He then came and took our order but he was giving us a horrible attitude throughout the entire time we were there as nobody came to check up on us. We often order from this Dennys location via Uber Eats. We love the Grand Slams and most of the breakfast items. The sausage is one of my favorites so I usually order and extra order of those. The hash browns are absolutely delicious especially when you add cheese as a topping. It really impress me how well the meals come packaged. They make sure to separate your pancakes from your other items so they stay fresh and don't get mixed up together. The individual items ordered come packaged in their own containers and all your condiments are put in a separate bag not in with your food. The only item I've ordered that I wasn't fond of was the Double Benny Breakfast. The Hollindase sauce wasn't too my liking and they use ham on the Eggs Benny not Canadian Bacon. We've also tried the milkshakes and smoothies from this location and they are always really good. This is the Dennys we use 99% of the time. The meals are prepared fast and it's always delivered via Uber Eats pretty promptly. read more

Had a great lunch here. Glad they opened. The miss ordered a omelette and I ordered the American slam breakfast. Both items were served hot and perfect. New and very clean. Just stopped by for the first time and it was great. It was pretty slow in customers as I went in on a Tuesday night. Our server was outstanding, I forgot her name tho . She was very attentive even from the beginning when she set out the menus. I'm not the type where I want the server hovering over us all the time but she was different. She was there right when we needed her. I tried the Tres leches pancakes which were surprisingly delicious. It has a little side of like a sweet milk. Just pour it over an already soft 2 layered pancake. My mother ended up eating half of it after I gave her a try. Also it brought eggs, either bacon/sausage, and hash brown. We cane all the way from Washington DC to the other planet that is Northern VA. There is absolutely nothing to complain about you eat very well for an incredibly modicum price. This is a new restaurant. You'd think they would have invested in a good cook. The food was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like it was made in an industrial kitchen, sent frozen and microwaved to cook it, than slapped on the table for you to eat. Absolutely disgusting food. I doubt the prison inmates would have eaten that food. $28 for 2 people at lunch. How can you screw a burger up? Expensive burgers that were not fit for consumption. This location had a very small parking lot, the restaurant was understaffed so waters couldn't efficiently handle the number of customers they had the day before Thanksgiving 2019. The food here is good and service started fantastic. I can't blame the server for what happened here but I can blame him for not noticing us. We sat here over 50 mins waiting for some Togo containers and the bill. He was the only one working but he kept attending those close to him but didn't bother with us. This was the first time coming to the new Denny's at skyline area , where the old chilli's use to be. Been to other restaurants that have great service , but not this Denny's , waited about less then 10 mins to be seated.which was good , followed hostess at a booth table hostess placed the menu on table. Not less then 2 mins waitress comes to table , had pen and pad , I ask the waitress may we have a few mins to...waitress walks off while I was still speaking to her. I was confused ,I told my friends that was with me ,all I was going to ask can she give us a few mins to look at menu to decide what we want, plus we just got to the table to be seated ...And my friend was like what is wrong with her that was rude of her. So it took us about 5 -10 mins to decide plus for my other friend that is a senior to order . Once we were ready waitress was still over by where the pick food up near kitchen just talking. So about 10mins later she comes to bring food to another booth table behind us , and then comes back to us , ready to order? We placed our orders as she is colleting the menus, I ask if I may still have a menu kept at table so I can order to go as she getting menu ,as I'm speaking again , she walks off again with a attitude. So now I'm like yeah I understand how waitress have certain areas,but that's not the issue, the issues is that she treated us rudely, which means she has no right to treat her paying customer's that pays tips as well in her section table areas to be treated like this of her being rude with attitude and very stand offish, and walks off each time I would speak or my senior friend had try to get her attention . I wanted to move to a different seating when she gave us the second rudeness. we don't even know this lady when it's our first time eating at this Denny's. So manager just says I will talk with her ,I'm sorry for that, then he walks off ,she comes over to give us our separate checks to pay at register, she didn't give my senior friend that's 64 yrs old his senior discount but added pancake puppies to his bill. I have honestly tried to give this place a chance. But, after today, no more. Their staff isn't moderately trained, constant incorrect orders, and now, there appears to be disparity in serving people. It's an issue in this area that service industry employees will ignore others and skip to serve their countrymen. I will never go back to the Target on Leesburg Pike because of it. But now it's spread to Denny's. It was obvious I was next in line and the waiter tried to bypass me to seat other people. I'm not giving my money to bs like this. Called ahead, said they were open and had tables. Shown up 10 minutes later and told the wait would be between 15 minutes to an hour. What kind of wait time is that? The guy at the front was also incredibly rude. After spending a decade+ working hospitality, I can't even fathom how that guy even has a job. I know I sound like a Karen but I seriously haven't felt so unwelcome in a long time. Half the restaurant was empty due to covid, which I completely understand. But their layout made no sense. Instead of skipping every other table, they had all their guests crowded into the corners in groups and just left entire other sections completely empty. This was not an example of good social distancing as much as just poor attempts to meet state guidelines. We would have just ordered some food to-go but after the "hosts" attitude, we couldn't wait to get out of there. We went on a Monday around 1145. The place wasn't super busy. The waitress took our order and brought coffee. It took 30 minutes for our meals to come out (there were 3 of us). We were told so sorry, it's busy. And brought 2 fruit cups for the wait. When we got our meals, I was missing my pancakes. When I asked about them, our waitress said "it's coming." I waited, finished my food, mentioned that I never got them, nor did I want them anymore, as I was too full. She said she could still bring them out, or give them to-go. I said no, it's ok. I was charged full price for my meal, even though I did not receive part of my order, and they switched eggs around on 2 of our dishes. Absolutely love Denny's and was very excited to see one open near is finally. And especially like the fact they have plenty of gluten free options for my wife. Have been here three times and this is my last. The service has been atrocious every time - usually taking 15-20 mins before our order is even taken including drinks.
