The service in this Denny's is struggling. The missing concept of seating people when there were tables open should have been the only clue we needed to leave. Eventually seated, we had to ask a passing "waitress" to take our order. We watched it sitting on the counter while the staff seemingly went on a break. Eventually served the food was pretty good, but the bacon was cold. I did have to go to the counter and ask another person to fill my cup with more hot water for my hot tea. It was hot, and no additional charge was made for the additional hot water. We like Dennys, but we will look for alternative dining when in Gilroy. read more

We came on Halloween and there was an extremely long wait. Once we finally got seated, there was only 2 overworked waitresses working the entire restaurant, no Management in sight to let guests know that there was a wait. Our waitress, Alexis was so kind and attentive despite the line out the door. Management should consider rush hours on holidays and plan accordingly. read more

My grandma fell in LOVE with the salmon, and as I'm someone who doesn't really prefer it, I have to say that it was done right. :) The corn was also delicious. The only complaint I have about my meal (ghirardelli choconana pancakes) was that the sausage tasted and felt processed. But that's small. The staff here were so friendly, it was really nice. :) Grandma also enjoyed their coffee lol The only big thing I would say about this place is that it doesn't feel the *cleanest*, but the employees are doing their best and smiling at everyone. I stopped at this Denny's because I know that I can always count on Denny's being a good choice. It was a great choice! I was greeted and served by Max, who also seated & served me. I was able to choose my booth; as it wasn't too busy when I arrived. I knew what I wanted, so I ordered the green salad with salmon; as well as an orange herbal tea and a glass of water. Max brought the tea and water; and it wasn't very long before my salad arrived. I forgot to order salad dressing, but he brought a bowl of ranch as a side. Perfect! I'm amazed at his attentive service! The restaurant started filling up, but he continued to check with me and asked me if I needed anything else and if everything was okay. Employees were super understaffed, which isn't their faults, but the wait times were ridiculous considering the restaurant was half empty.
