Food was good although service was not. As soon as I got my food it was delivered with the bill, basically saying hurry up, eat and go. It was hard getting servers attention after that. He asked us about our drinks and made sure my fiancee had the much needed coffee for a Sunday Morning. The food was hot and delicious, I personally would say the best of any Denny's i've ever eaten at. My family went there for breakfast/lunch today. It's a shame how poorly run this restaurant is. A lot of credit goes to the gal who seated us and explained the long wait. Then Misty came and told us it would take 30 to 45 minutes to get our food. You can't really complain when the waitress explains the situation. It's such a horrible set up that these gals get abused by patrons because the management really doesn't know how to hire enough people. I understand that's tough. Furthermore they should not seat all the tables if they can't serve all the tables. You have to make adjustments. Huge credit to Misty and the cooks as well. The food was really good. read more

Our waitress was friendly at first but when we asked if we could get a different order of fries because the one that we got was cold and overcooked. She didn't say anything when we asked and just walked away. Never once came to our table after. We were not rude and understand how hard it is to be a waitress. Our server Genevieve was amazing, top notch. She had all the details for our order correct and even covered what we forgot to ask for without us asking for it later. She kept our drinks full the entire time. She is super friendly and has great energy. I rarely eat at Dennys but I'll drive to eat here just for her service! She deserves a raise like a double rate. Honestly my expectation for a Denny's is pretty low considering that this isn't a fancy place, and nothing to write home about. I decided to stop in late one night after being out, and I was impressed. FOOD: I ordered some kind of breakfast sandwich that came with hashbrowns for $8! I was pleased that the food only took about 10 minutes to come out, and to my surprise, the food looked delicious. The hash browns had cheese melted on them, and the sandwich was really good. I was expecting a half decent meal, but was honestly impressed for a late night stop. SERVICE: Our waitress was nice and friendly. She seemed a little sick and kept coughing which concerned me a little. She also took a while to get a refill on our coffee. Nonetheless though she was attentive and friendly. Had one of the best experiences at this location. The menu items looked well prepared and tasted delicious. The service was prompt and attentive. Alicia our server was excellent , she was personable and took time to thoughtfully answer questions, even making sure my sister had the flavor creamer she wanted. She checked back with us at just the right interval after service and presented the check in a timely manner that did not feel rushed. The manager was also a tremendous help when we settled our check and she assisted my sister to activate her free Birthday breakfast. My family and I usually come into this Dennys because it's closer to my mother's house. It was our 1st time seeing this older lady who took our order. She was pretty slow and forgot a couple of times to bring my coffee, but she was lovely, so she made it worth it. She could have been new, but I'm not sure. It was very busy when my sister and I came, but that's okay. There has always been a little bit off a nasty smell going into Dennys. I'm not sure if it's sewer or what, but that doesn't scar us away. Service is fast. Carmen was a very friendly and attentive waitress. Food (breakfast) is always yummy. High stars on all that! Low stars on cleanliness. Window sills by our table (and other areas I observed) and windows were dirty and very dusty. I don't want that flying in my food! If this is the case, I imagine light fixtures and other areas look the same. Pointed this out to a manager, so hopefully next visit I'll see if they've incorporated this into thier cleaning ritual. read more

Good food and generous serving of eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes. We didn't get waited on until 15 minutes after arriving, After ordering it took another 20 minutes to get the food. Waitress did a good job but everything was slow. Seated nearby was a couple with two young kids, one a toddler, who let out shrieks the whole time. It was only quiet when the kids left the table and ran up and down the aisles, totally untended by parents. The waitress had to spend a long time cleaning up table after those kids. Waiting awhile for the bill. Long waits, shrieking kids, we don't want that experience again. read more

What a drastic change this eatery made when relocating directly on the corner of 43 & Peoria. It's clean, friendly, and conscientious about customer service. I've been delighted as a regular for a while....but hesitated to write a review. We all have our own objective cases for handing out stars...I really can't see giving a 5 star rating to a national chain. You know some days you just crave those dang pancakes, and the best part of a chain is you can expect the same tasting buttermilk pancake every time. What makes my location differentiated...they will, without asking, empty my cold coffee, and refill my mug! WHAT? That's a service NOT taught at a national level.
