Great food and service today at Denny's. Our server Gloria was very good, doing training and taking care of multiple tables without delay.

Nothing wrong with Denny's food at this location, however, there were people arriving well after me that got there food well before I did. I was brought out my sides, MY SIDES, not an appetizer. At least cook the sides in moderation with the main dish and bring it all out at once. And since I arrived first I should recieve my food before the people that came in after me, right? Wrong, apparently. But the food being distraught and unorganized is kinda crazy. Our waiter, Emma, asked us if we were waiting for our check before we even got our main dish! We got our sides and waited for the longest time and watched others get there food. Unacceptable. And the milkshake that was ordered seems watered down. Not good at all. I'm gonna go over to Five Guys and get a properly done milkshake. And my final complaint, my French toast did not have the chocolate chips on them like I requested. Okay, I get it. If you've been to one Denny's you've essentially been to them all. But hear me out. This location is practically perfect. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place is kept clean as a whistle. Clean, calm, quiet and warm. Food was prepped insanely fast and served piping hot. I dunno, it feels silly to rant and rave about the type of 24-hour diner that I've been dining at for most of my adult life, but this place just essentially cured me of eating fast food after work for the foreseeable future. In the past I've been always able to call in an order for food at any Dennys of my choosing. This evening I called 1 of 2 Dennys by my house off of I-10 & Litchfield Park rd. Several times and was either hung up on or ignored. I then proceeded to call the other location by me off of Dysart & Camelback rd. And the same occurred endless calls, 1 time someone picked up and out me in hold before hanging up. I visited in person both locations for within 20 mins of getting ignored and neither was packed with customers. Does Dennys no longer do over the phone orders after a certain time at their 24 hour locations? Or are these locations just that poorly ran. I haven't been to Denny's for at least 15 maybe 20 years and just so happens. They had kids eat free on Tuesdays so we gave him a chance and they didn't disappoint me. If we had any issues with our meal they were quick to help out. She was very helpful with the menu, very kind to my son, and her customer service was Excellent!! Absolutely the worst Dennys experience in all the years we've been going to Dennys. First and FOREMOST it was very unprofessional to be able to hear a server waitress talking to her manager in the manner that we could hear some 15 feet away. Service was so slow. Our section had just three tables occupied. We have never waited that long to be waited on yet have a very long wait for our food to come. I actually warned people waiting to get seated in the front left of the restaurant for quicker service. A couple came in and was seated in our section and left because they couldn't get waited on. I stopped in to this Denny's (Litchfield and I-10) around 1030 for a late breakfast. There was a new item on the menu, Chicken Biscuits and Gravy Bowl. I was curious enough that I ordered it. It was quite delicious! I think it could have used a little more gravy, but it wasn't far off from just right. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly, the biscuits were fluffy and the gravy delicious. The dish was topped with two eggs (cooked to order, I had them sunny side up), and some cheddar cheese. January 3, 2025: 1. My husband and I walked into the subject Dennys for breakfast. We set at put table approx 9:50. 2. The female server came with no smile in an indifferent attitude asked what we wanted. I said regular coffee for my husband and decaf for me. 3. She came back to take our orders. I asked if I could just have waffles and she said yes since it's not listed on the menu. She then asked, '..just waffles, no eggs, anything, fruit...' I said, '..no eggs, sausages, nothing..you can put some berries if they are included...' I then asked, '..since it's not on the menu,can you tell me the price?' She said, 'I don't know. I need to punch into the computer to get it...' 4. Approx 10:11, my husband's order came. The server said, 'Yours would be up soon...' Mine came about 3 to 5 min later. The server said, 'You're only supposed to get one, we give you two...' 5. We were sitting at a table that had a clear view of the kitchen. There was no time that the counter was full of dishes that customers ordered, which means they were not busy as the Managerclaimed. 6. The Manager happened to walked by our table and asked how everything was. Meanwhile, the server presented our bill and the waffle was $8.59 something. I was shocked. I explained to her what we had experienced. She said the waffles were a new item for them, so it's not on the menu. The berries cost extra. 7. My complaint was that: * The server should have disclosed the actual price of the waffles; * The server should have explained that berries were extra. * The restaurant was not that bust since we could see clearly the movements at the kitchen from where we sat. * There was NO ADEQUATE SERVICE to speak of, from the server to the manager. I do lodge complaint when the Sevice is totally not acceptable; which is not often. I'm hoping that Dennys Managenent focuses on Service Excellence training. Your customers deserve it. So I ordered on Uber eats from a company called Burger Den not knowing this part of Denny's. Until I went to make a review. Denny's itself is a good place but the burgers from Burger Den was extremely good I made my own and got a Swiss cheeseburger with lettuce and Mayo I added ketchup and caramelized onion honestly the seasoning on it was just as good.
