Staff was awesome. The manager Jacob checked up on me and was very polite and eager to make my experience wonderful. This is hands down the best dennys I've been to. We've eaten at this location for years (Litchfield Rd, Goodyear). Don't know if someone was out sick or something today, but a family of 4 ahead of me and I waited over 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us or seat us. Plenty of tables, just no one chose to meet or greet us. I work for a Fortune 50 company and have trained customer service reps for over 35 years. I'm a patient person, but such service is simply unacceptable. This restaurant usually does much better than this. Once seated, the waitress was awesome and food was good. Then when time to pay at the register, I waited again for almost 5 minutes - and there were several newly arrived customers waiting to be seated as well who seemed a bit unhappy at the wait. I get it... sometimes people call off sick leaving you short staffed. But there needs to be a contingency plan in place when this happens to avoid arriving customers having long waits to be greeted and seated and to promptly take payments from departing customers. I'll extend some grace this one time, but if this happens again, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and you'll lose a customer of 28+ years. Thank you for asking for my feedback. read more

#1 This restaurant is dirty. From the floor on up. Even the silverware is disgusting. #2 The service is so slow. You start to wonder if you're invisible. #3 The food is barely warm, including the coffee. I ordered an English muffin with my breakfast and there was such a huge glob of butter on it I couldn't eat it. Take a look at the picture! The muffin was so cold the butter wouldn't melt. At first I thought it was cheddar cheese. Stay away from this Dennys. You'll be glad you did. read more

Not my first choice I enjoy eating at Dennys on ocassion. I am always greeted quickly, seated almost immediately, and the food has always been somewhat good. However, this Denny's just is not one of my favorites. The service is poor and the food just wasn't very good. It took over 30 minutes to get an order of Pancakes and the place wasn't very crowded. When I asked for warm syrup it was given to me in a bottle that had about an inch thick of crust around the lid. Needless to say I wasn't using that syrup that day. All in all Dennys offers good value for your money, reasonable prices, and short waits (except on Sunday mornings). If your looking for a quick and reasonable breakfast, stop by, just dont stop bt this Dennys. read more

We were greeted by a lady I'm assuming the manager yelling at the employees that no one could take their break. We then were called on the speaker and when we walked up the male attending the waiting list proceeded to tell us that they had been calling our name. Which they had not? We went to be seated and the table had not been cleaned. The lady came and took care of it and she was about the only employee that had any hustle. Our waitress Joann was no where to be found. People had been seated after us and were already sipping on their coffee, before she finally made an appearance to tell us she would be right with us. Probably about 10 minutes of waiting she finally came over and took our order. Food was decent but customer service is non existent. read more

Every once in a while, even the most familiar chains, will do something to impress me. That's why I'm Yelping about the Denny's near Litchfield Road and I-10. In a nutshell, it involves coffee and a ridiculous hour in the AM. This past Veteran's Day, my girlfriend and I decided to join her father for a flag raising ceremony at dawn. You don't say no to a Marine. And, you don't say no to a Marine when he wants to grab a bite to eat on the way. Which is why we found ourselves at Denny's at 5:00 in the morning. Denny's was an easy choice because it was convenient to where we were headed. And it's familiar enough to keep everyone in our group happy. And let's be honest. Denny's is Denny's. The classic rock bopping in the background keeps with their diner theme. Even if it was a little oppressive to those of us struggling to wake up. Now, about that coffee... It's good. It's very good. And our waitress was very attentive and kept it topped off the whole time. If this was just about coffee, we'd be looking at five stars. The food was about what you'd expect. It's average and my scrambled eggs were a little runnier than I would like. But the pancakes made up for the other shortcomings (soggy bacon). Seriously, Denny's pancakes are better than I remember! Despite the pre-dawn hour, we were re-acquainted with an old friend. The coffee and pancakes plus the friendly service were more than enough to make me want to drop in again... Horrible horrible horrible. Went today for breakfast. We got seated around 10:15, took about 10min before anyone came to take our drink order. Then another 10min to make an order even though we already knew what we wanted. It was 11:30 & still no food. We asked our waitress if there was an update with at least the appetizers & all she said was, "yeah its busy over there." Obviously its busy & we are not complaining about that but we look around us & people who have been seated after us were already eating. & our table was just 3 people. Cinnamon pancakes didn't look the same as the picture. It was a lot smaller and the brown sugar crumble was very hard. The bottom also tasted like onion or someone else's order like the cook was cooking a burger or onions and didn't clean the grill well enough that the bottom of my pancakes tasted like onions. So we came here a couple weeks ago and the experience was not very good but I noticed they were short staffed and I chalked it up to being a COVID time and to not hold it against them. Well we decided to come here once again on Friday brunch time and my son and I ordered their new chicken Buffalo sand which or so we thought, our waitress dropped off the food and walked away.. again she was pretty busy and once we realized it wasn't what we ordered we tried to get someone's attention but it never happened so we forced the honey chicken sandwich and say forced as my son and I do not care for sweet on our chicken especially when we were looking forward to Buffalo, we ate half of the sandwich when the waitress Finally came so I asked her what did we order at first I was thinking maybe she didn't hear me correctly but she said Buffalo sandwiches I said we tried to eat these but it isn't what we ordered both of us had eaten half of the sandwich, she asked if I wanted to speak to a manager I said yes please, that never happened instead the waitress said our bill was discounted. Now I didn't expect her to take off our meals completely I mean we did eat half of the sandwich mostly because we were hungry and couldn't get anyone's attention, we get to the register and we were given a military discount, I explained to cashier how our experience went and she was going to go get the manager but I told her not to bother for the fact they didn't come out in the first place. I get most restaurants are struggling right now as most industries are but when you have costumers who are still trying to support... they should at least treat their customers right. read more

I didn't dine here per say, it was more of a visit. There was a little kitten outside of the Dennys who had a really bad eye injury. I tried going up to her but she was skittish so I went inside to tell the staff. The lady at the counter seemed sympathetic but informed me that they couldn't do anything (which makes sense with health codes and everything). After a few minutes of me and my mom trying to coax the cat out of a bush we realized maybe it was thirsty so I went back inside and there was another really nice lady. I asked if I could have a glass of water and she was really polite and gave me a glass. We ended up getting the cat and dropping it off at an animal hospital. All in all the service was great and I appreciate that they didn't mind us getting the cat. TL;DR really nice service even for people who aren't customers read more
