Came here late, which we have done several times before. Never had a problem like tonight. Waitress came right over and took our order. Then waited 40 minutes to get our food. There was only one other table. When the food finally arrived, bacon was cold, eggs were swimming in grease. The other item was a sandwich and the bread arrived black. As a chain restaurant, Denny's is, for the most part, consistent. My wife and I enjoy coming here when we are looking for something familiar and pleasant. The staff is always very friendly and ready to tend to the needs of their customers, at least at this location. The food is good and the experience is enjoyable. The only downside is how busy they can get, making the place a little loud. But of course, that's nobody's fault. Honestly, I was going to give this location a lower score, but Andrea was so nice and helpful. At first the kitchen only gave me 4 onion rings but then Andrea went to check on it and brought back a couple more rings and explained that the kitchen had accidentally dropped some but didn't tell her. So kitchen, please make sure to communicate with the waiters. She was very nice and professional and checked on us multiple times during our visit. I went to the Denny's at 1960 and it was just amazing. The food was excellent as usual and Im not one to write reviews but there was an employee there named Kameron that treated us very well and took care of everything so wonderfully! I really enjoyed this visit and would 100% recommend. read more

It's a Denny's, so it is what you would expect from a Denny's. Which, to be honest, is perfect. I can get a great, fresh salad or a whopping pile of pancakes (so sad they don't have gluten free pancakes...it would make me so happy). Went because its close to home. Probably the only Denny's I go to. Get seated right away and order taken quickly. Waitress brought the 2 years old eggs and pancakes first which I appreciated. She dove in right away. I order from the kids menu for my mother, which she wanted a small burger. It came over cooked and burnt around the edges. She took a couple of bites, instead she ate the mash potatoes. My burger fell apart on me so ate it with a fork. Fries were delicious. All in all it wasn't bad. Will go back. I actually liked the restaurant. I am originally from Cincinnati so of course we don't have one in the city. We used to have them 15 years ago when I was a little kid, but they did away with them all. I think the closest one we have is Dayton, OH. The food was good. The fries were a little cold but overall it has a good taste to it. My waitress was good. She defiantly made sure that I was comfortable while I was there. The store was a mess tho. Tables were dirty. Stuff was all over the floor. Working in the food service industry is a precarious job. However, that means it should be the cleanest environment that were often in. Being in a place where things go in our body needs to be taken seriously. Every table should have been cleaned and sanitized after every customer, floor should always be void of noticeable food on the floor. It's not going to stop me from eating there. I've been going to this location for many years with no issues. My mom rarely goes out due to Covid, but I talked her into going to my favorite Denny's after a doctor's appointment. Keep in mind, we passed up two other locations to get to this one, due to the past consistency. We ordered two Super Slams and received two plates with burnt hash browns and burnt eggs. The man who placed our meals on our table, appeared to be Anglo, with a stocky build, noticed the look on our faces, and quickly walked off before we could say anything about the burnt food. The server was very nice and apologetic and took away the burnt plates of food, and left the pancakes and meat, which we disappointingly ate due to our fear of sending food back. The server quickly informed the Manage of the issue, in the end, we were credited $3.50 our ruined breakfast. The manager never came to the table to address the issue, the server appeared to be more concerned than the manager. In summary, I was very dissatisfied with this location, the food presentation, and lack of apparent concern for what happened. I don't know what has happened, but I feel that this is indicative of poor management and a lack of concern for customers. It will be a while before I return to this location, if ever. read more

Went to Denny's on a random Tuesday (Children Eat Free). Children drinks are not free only the entrée. Waitress was named Tammy and was very hospitable and detailed. Assisted General Manager came by and asked how is everything. Food was good and presented on clean table. Booth seating was clean and tidy with no ripes or tears. Kids had hot chocolate with extra whip cream on top. We recommend returning, if you have kids for the Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays! ! read more

We knew what we wanted to eat so we placed our order as the waitress seated us. It took a while just to get our drinks. When the food cam out a while later the waitress apologized for how the food was presented on the plates stating that the cook had quit that night and the manager was cooking and was crazy. We thought that was very unprofessional. My friend ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. She pull out a purple object from the potatoes. The waitress took it back saying it would be fixed and while walking away saying that's just gross. I was finished with my meal when my friends meal was served after it went back. The meatloaf was now burned on the bottom. Both of our meals had toast served with it and it had burned spots on it. The manager did take our meals off the check and apologized. We most likely won't come back as this has not been the first time we have run into meal problems at this Denny's. read more

Never had problems at this Denny's a day in my life. Until yesterday, I had ordered the country fried steak which had over salted gravy and my zucchini and squash were very oily and not as good as usual. My server had also given me the wrong order of potato's since she didn't write any of it down it seemed. Besides that she was very nice. But my girlfriend had ordered the spaghetti which she didn't finish and so we took it home which I ended up eating it later in the night around 10:00. well I woke up about a hour ago puking and having a very fucked up stomach if you catch my drift. I have been eating at this location since it opened and have always loved it. This last year has seen crappy managers and it has gone down hill so much I will never water my time or money again. Took over an hour to get our food. The order was only half my food and not anyone else's. We waited but never got the rest of our food. And what I did get had syrup spilled all over it. This is just your average Denny's. What pumps the rating up to five stars? A waiter named Xavier. That dude is an awesome waiter. He's on his third shift in two days, and the guy is upbeat, energetic, knowledgeable, and full of really good recommendations. This sort of waiter makes a restaurant really shine. Gave him a 20% tip yesterday, but I think he might deserve a 50% tip today. If you come by, ask if you can sit in Xavier's section. Tell him a raving review on Yelp sent you his way. read more

It seems they recently renovated this location and it looks nice. Went for lunch today and tried one of their new Green Skillet and it was flavorful and plentiful.
