Typical Denny's. Service was average not bad, not great. I do admit I love the value menu, I did get the special bird which is grilled sourdough with melted Swiss cheese, tomato, and thinly sliced turkey and it was delicious. I like Denny's chain because it is predictable. I was driving from Seattle to Portland with my wife on Friday and around 8pm we entered that Denny's. We were in a hurry, but I also wanted to have some rest before driving further. We made an order quickly because we know the menu by heart. I ordered a burger, and my wide ordered a salad. Usually these things are served within 10 minutes. But that time I was waiting for 50 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting I told to waitress that I'm in a hurry. It looks like she didn't care. There were only 2 small groups of people except us, I don't understand why it took them so long to cook a simple burger and a salad. Unfortunately, burger was overcooked and not tasty at all. Bacon was all in cooking oil, very fat. I wasn't complained about that, because I've expected that it will take them another hour to cook it again. I'm very unsatisfied. At the same time, I still enjoy other Denny's restaurants in the Puget Sound area, because orders there are served quickly and food is great. read more

We really only went to Denny's once. The food was greasy, the service poor and we had to wait forever for a refill of a cup of coffee. Harvest pancakes are always good but I Tried the Wild West omelet & was unimpressed big time. Just overall poor quality. Went here after church on Easter Sunday. It was surprisingly not super busy. The reason for the five stars, the food was really good and so was the service. I ordered a supreme skillet and some chocolate chip pancakes for the kids. The wife ordered some bacon and eggs. Overall, I was really impressed with how fast we got the food and how it tasted great for a breakfast diner. The waiter was awesome with friendly service and making sure our drinks were always refilled. The place was fairly clean too and plenty of seating. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Hey!!! Denny's has a new look!! Or at least the dining room does. Nice to see the staff in clean clothes. Anyway, they're remodeling the dining room, which is now reminiscent of the '70s "Wood Look"; minus the shag carpeting. But just the dining room and bar. The kitchen and bathrooms are the same. . . OLD. . . same-old. The food, however, still reminds us that they're doing the best they can, with what they have. But not all dismal. The coffee has improved, it's now fresh! And service is pretty good. Their burgers still fall apart, (don't look under the bun!!) And I think they now allow 12 fries instead of ten. All in all, I could recommend it to someone on a bus without feeling my karma is doomed to eternal despair. read more

Don't eat here if you're vegetarian. Worst customer service. Greasy disgusting food. Unfortunately, IHOP was closed so I had to come here for breakfast late at night. Worst mistake. I know there are limited places to eat here but try not to waste your money here. I was told I had to pay for meat in my meal even though I didn't want it. The waitress gave me no other options then charged me 2.00$ for an egg and an additional 0.80$ for cheese and FORCED me to order meat. I paid for food I won't eat and then paid 3.00$ for one egg with cheese. The manager was equally rude about it and then stood there arguing with me about how IHOP and Sheri's are worse. Seriously, you defend your rude behavior and inability to work with customers and provide excellent customer service by slamming other companies. You're saying you're the lesser of the shitty restaurants so I basically have no choice but to deal with you? Great defense. I have never had a problem at IHOP with customer service. Also their food is way better with an awesome selection. Too bad I couldn't have had a delicious crepe instead from IHOP as Denny's doesn't even offer that. Very impressed with this location. It's 11pm on a Friday. It's busy and spotless. The manager is on the floor helping out with drinks and orders and checking in with tables. Our skillets were delicious and promptly delivered. The employee banter is positive. Great diner decor. Will be back for sure. read more

I'm rating Denny's a 3 stars at this time.. I recently ordered here, and was told they no longer take their rewards card anymore which I believe should be such a great perk. I noticed prices went up, bummer. The remodel looks good, but just doesn't give it that Denny's Diner feel like it used to. & the person that rung me up I believe his name was Buddy, could have been a bit more customer service friendly .. The plus side my food was warm and tasted good. If I order here again, I'll add an update on my experience. Update- I knocked off 1 more star. I ordered again here for pickup. Server on the phone let me know it would be ready in about 25 minutes (for my one item by the way). As I got there, my order wasn't ready I had to wait another 35 minutes. We had about 45 people there and the staff here was amazing! I felt so bad that they had to setup, cleanup, and deal with all of us. It was not very busy but they were understaffed so everything was slow- being seated, taking our order, cleaning the plates, and getting our bill. Also, we each got a skillet. One filled only half the skillet and the other one was served on a plate (and cold) with a small amount of food. Okay, this place needs a serious update, it looks good from the outside, but when you step inside there's a smell between old and potty, it's really not pleasant, I stood there for a couple of minutes and nobody acknowledged me, a guy start to walk towards me but even if I did made eye contact and smile at him, he seemed less than interested in greet me or tell me where I could seat...he kept walking and went to the register, that's when I figured he was the cashier, so I saw an empty table which was dirty, and sat there anyways with my two children, the atmosphere was real estrange as if you were in some ghetto, lesbians kissing, all kind of people that seems like lost or homeless, just weird...didn't felt really a family place even if there where couple of kids on the next booth... Then a lady came to greet us and she's cleaning the table the rag she siding to do so seems like isn't been used with any kind of cleaner but just plain water, she was super sweet but forgetful, i has to grab a high chair for my toddler after several minutes waiting, she said "just a minute" and forgot...the food was good hot and the flavor right, I have no complain about my order except the " day soup" which was very salty (clam chowder) As we were leaving I requested a to go contained, it also was forgotten, I'm okay standing and asking for things when they're. It given to me but other people will see this as s lack of good service, she apologized and joke about the incident, I don't think I gonna go back at all and I'm glad I went alone before taking my whole family there. Manager or owner needs to take care of the place train people to clean the facility and remodel the thing inside! Ate there Today. We got there at 11:30 a.m. Got a table by the nice Host guy. And then, that's were the pleasant ended. My Brother and I waited 30 mins for the "waitress" Melanie (I'm pretty sure, since she was apparently on the mute side whenever she talked to us) for her to come and get us any drinks. "I'll get you started on Drinks/ are your ready or you need more time?" (Are you kidding me, 30 mins waiting). I don't know why it took her another 20 mins to bring us Drinks. And it's not like 'oh cut her a break it's hella busy,' when there was 2 other waiters and another helper setting people up. I watched her walks 3x around our table to get people who had no longer than 10 mins coffee and take there orders. Finally food came, and guess what? Yeah it was on the Cold side. In the 10 mins my Brother and I ate I watched this "Waitress" service the other people (2 per booth) and I could hear her clearly. When she basically told me to speak louder since she couldn't hear me. Okay? We should've walked out, But honestly I like giving people Benefit of the Doubt, we all deserve chances. Smh never again. No tip, and normally I would feel bad but I don't. You earn that. And she didn't, from her lack of service and her lack of Consideration. read more

My wife and I were seated right away and then forgot about. After 5 minutes we were asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for coffee and another 5 minutes later our "waitress" sat another couple instead of giving us our drinks. We walked out immediately. What's worse is the only other table our server had asked to be checked out because they've never had to wait so long for their food. It's a Denny's so what to say. To start the waitress was fantastic which always sets the stage for a great time. Now I haven't been to Denny's in a while and boy was impressed. The menu had choices for everyone and the food was good. I really like the setup at this particular Denny's with an open kitchen and large dinning room giving a nice dinner feel. Got off to a rocky start with not being sat FOREVER don't know what was going on but we had a great waitress who whipped up the best strawberry dacqueri I ever tasted. We were driving from Portland to Bellevue and back in one day, and on our way home, we took the kids here for dinner. The service was awesome (Rhonda was our server and she is absolutely delightful) and the food was hot and fresh and perfect. Everything was spotless. We wanted a fast, cheap, decent, dinner with good service and clean menus/tables/silverware. This Denny's was perfect for that. Terrible service. There weren't many people in there, yet it took over 10 minutes to get seated...over 10 minutes before I even saw a server...even longer to get my order. Not once did the server even come by my table to see if I needed anything (coffee cup is still empty). The only thing that was rapid was me getting the check...
