So I learned something. Each Denny's is individually owned. That's why, although the food is made with unvarying corporate recipes, I'm sure it's often made way beforehand, and then thawed out at the site when needed. Nonetheless, each location can vary widely in terms of service and ambiance. This one's the worst. Go to Granada Hills or Van Nuys. They're an entirely different experience. This branch only offers chicken noodle soup every day, no matter what the corporate-produced menu says. The servers can be surly, vacant, invisible when you need one ( I've seen them on the back gabbing away, when I'd like to place an order or get a coffee refill ), or worst of all, overly and obnoxiously loud and friendly. They don't seem to stay too long either, and I think management has to do with that. Still, I return. It's about three blocks from my house, open at all hours, and the food's decent. read more

This Denny's is close to home and we love that. we love that there is plenty of parking and we don't have to be driving around. We are always greeted when we walk in. This last time we went was right after a graduation it looked busy but luckily the wait was only 15 minutes. NOT BAD AT ALL. We were seated and our server got us going with our food and drinks. The boys ordered pancakes, mac and cheese and of course milkshakes (oreo milkshake to be exact) they enjoyed it all. We ordered an omelet , a slamburger which was so good and slamwich . all made to perfection. It was not to noisy and we were able to have nice conversations without having to shout. Unfortunately, the brisket was burnt, which took away from the overall experience. It was tough and a bit unpleasant to eat because of that. On the bright side, the service was great. However, I wanted to specifically write a review for this location due to the outstanding service. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in and advised us that the host will be with us shortly. The host was very pleasant and the waitress provided excellent service. Our food was the correct order and came out hot. This Dennys is very clean with a nice "Northridge" decor sign. The parking can get a bit crowded depending on the time of day with all the other businesses in the same center, but I've never had an issue with finding parking. read more

I came by myself the other day for breakfast while waiting on my car service and luckily there was no wait. I ate during breakfast and the place wasn't too loud, I guess because it wasn't the weekend. The food was good except my eggs are never over medium, they are always cooked sunny side up. Other than that everything else was good. The waffle was so yummy, a little over priced but it looked delicious on the menu. I drank about two cups of coffee. The service was fast. The food here is always fresh and hot! Very good and made to perfection. I always get their heathy grain pancakes with bacon, eggs, and fruit. Never disappoints me with this choice! The service is pretty good at this location! They are pretty busy so it seems it can be overwhelming for the servers at times. It's always a wait here but it is worth the wait for the price and quality of food. The ambiance is nice. They reopened it for remodeling I heard not long ago and it's pretty updated. I like that they do have a lot of seating as well. The managers are very nice and welcoming, which makes the experience really good as well. Overall I will definitely be back, it is not far from my house either. I just dislike the parking lot, it's hard to find parking and the spaces are somewhat tight. read more

We always come to this specific Dennys. The manager, Juan, always remembers my daughters and makes us feel comfortable. My daughters will specifically ask if we are going to "their" Dennys. Starting at 11am they begin to serve lunch while still serving breakfast and that provides many options to chose from. I had breakfast with my Mom and the food had good flavors.
