I have been coming to this Denny's forever!!! I'm so surprised I never did a review. However, I have no complaints with this location. Today I ordered the multi-grain slam w/ bacon, and it was beyond amazing! Made to perfection and fresh. 5/5 for my food!! The service was also exceptional!!! We had Toolya and she's always amazing and gives perfect service. Also, she never forgets anything. Come and make sure to get her. The ambiance is cool and decent. It's setup like a diner and is clean. Typical Denny's atmosphere and colors. I highly recommend this location, if you want good quality food and cooked fresh. Side note: they take AARP :) -Marshay D.

Trying the Slamburger for the first time. This Denny's hosts our LUG every other Saturday. José always takes good care of us. Staff is friendly. Food is generally very good.

Carmen and Jose were very welcoming and made sure everything was great with us! Constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was good with our meal and if we needed anything else. The resteraunt was very clean, and the food was great. The cinnamon pancakes are my go-to, they are very good!

Just realized how did I not visit Denny's anytime sooner? I made a stop on a Friday morning since I was craving pancakes. Upon walking into the restaurant, the ambiance is moderate busy, not too loud and waiters are quick. The staff assisted me and walked me over to my table right away. They currently have breakfast promos and they have a rewards program as well. I decided to go with the "super slam" and a side of their pumpkin pecan pancakes. My coffee tasted delicious and the refills kept coming. I always order my eggs sunny side up because I love poking into the yolk and making a mess. The pancakes were so fluffy, buttery, soft, delicious full of flavor; pecans and pumpkin. 5/5 Once I was ready to go, the waiter offered coffee-to-go and I accepted it. What a way to serve your customers. This location is great, plenty of parking in a large lot and friendly service at Denny's.

Food took a while to come out, Waiter was nice and very responsive. This place is close to church so it's very busy on Sundays. Me and Jhoanna waited about 25 minutes for food to come out. The eggs were over cooked and dry. The sausage and bacon were cooked to perfection as well for the hash browns. The pancakes were okay... burnt on the bottom. I recommend this place to people who aren't picky and who have a strong appetite for a subpar selection of breakfast items!

Jose is the nicest! Great food and fast service. Always here for SVG LUG and they are so nice to accommodate us.

Yelp Review - Denny's Northridge (Visited July 13 at ~12:30pm I'm deeply disappointed to be writing this review. My mother and I have been coming to this Denny's in Northridge since 1978 -- back when I was a child, and now as adults with our own kids. It's been a multigenerational tradition. Sadly, today may have been our last visit. We came in around 12:30 PM and were seated by who I believe was the manager, Jose, near the kitchen area in a booth. We waited nearly 10 minutes with menus in hand and no acknowledgment from any server. Finally, a Filipino waitress with no name tag approached us. I said, "Finally someone's here. I thought you all were on strike," in a lighthearted but truthful way to express our frustration. Instead of a smile or reassurance, we got a curt attitude in return. She brushed it off, saying they were busy. We mentioned we were hungry, and she responded in an impatient, almost annoyed tone. Her demeanor felt rushed, brash, and impersonal from the start. We ordered two Grand Slams. I believed I was ordering the $10.99 Grand Slam advertised on the poster in the window, but I was charged nearly $20 for mine. I also asked for decaf coffee for my mom -- she brought regular. When I told her about the mistake, she didn't apologize and just walked off to get another without much care. I requested that we place our to-go order after eating so the food wouldn't get cold, but she never came back to take it. Every time I asked for something, it felt like a burden to her. The coffee was cold, and when I brought it up, she shrugged and rushed away. Her communication was unclear, and unfortunately, the language barrier made it harder to connect. Eventually, after waiting another 10-15 minutes for the check and not seeing her again, I had to go up to the front to speak to Jose. His attitude wasn't much better. When I asked about the Grand Slam pricing, he gave me a dismissive explanation, almost as if I were a child, and acted like I should have just accepted the mistake. No apology, no effort to make things right. Instead, he backed up the waitress completely, giving the impression that our complaint was just a nuisance. We spent over $52 and left feeling like we weren't valued at all. I work as an executive healthcare recruiter and home health specialist and have strong relationships with over 40 care facilities. I make it a point to recommend businesses that treat customers with care and respect. Unfortunately, I'll be warning my network to steer clear of this Denny's and consider alternatives like IHOP across the street -- where the service has consistently been friendlier and more professional. It's truly disheartening to be treated this way after decades of loyal patronage. We left church this morning talking about loving our neighbor -- and it's incredibly hard to do that when you're met with rudeness, neglect, and arrogance. Denny's corporate needs to take a hard look at what's happening at this location. Poor service, unqualified management, and a dismissive attitude are a recipe for losing loyal customers like us. We won't be returning. - Albert V.

I've been coming to this Denny's for a while and I've never been disappointed. I love that they are open 24 hours and the service is always fast! I usually get the build your own slam where you can pick 4 from a variety of options. It's perfect to satisfy any late night breakfast cravings! From the colors to the booths, Denny's always has such a classic feel to it.

Who does not like eggs? I am always looking for new breakfast places that highlight this protein,…read moreclearly one of my favorites. Therefore, Egg Tuck in Northridge, was my next destination. What was even more attractive here, is that the menu though small, is so different. Their hallmark item is soft scrambled eggs, cooked Korean style, inspired by the street egg toasts in Seoul. At the onset it is worthy to mention that surprisingly, good any type scrambled eggs (soft, fluffy, not overcooked) are elusive, even at well known breakfast eateries in the SFV. Because this is the only way I cook scrambled eggs at my pad, I was curious to discover, if Egg Tuck could live up to its advertisement. To order, will it be a regular sandwich, a royal sandwich (includes a beef patty) or a burrito. I chose the regular bacon and cheese sandwich. The generous portion of scrambled eggs (two to two and a half eggs) are stuffed (tucked) into a thick buttered, toasted, almost square, middle sliced brioche bread pocket. The eggs lived up. They were soft, airy, creamy, with their egg sauce (house mayo, they say) and chives. So much so, that when you begin to eat, there is significant spill of the egg mixture. This is not stated to criticize the product. Instead, to praise it for its perfect method of preparation, its abundance, high flavor, uniqueness and authenticity, in the breakfast landscape. They prepare their eggs in a very specific, signature style. They are exceptionally soft-scrambled, rich, and velvety. Unfortunately, I ended up having an allergic reaction after eating it on two different occasions. It was severe enough that I actually had to go see an allergist to get tested. The whole situation turned out to be a total medical puzzle. I ended up testing positive on my skin allergy test, but completely negative on my blood tests, and I just recently passed an at-home food challenge test for egg yolk with zero reaction. Because Egg Tuck cooks their eggs so lightly and uses egg-based house sauces, the proteins are a lot less cooked than a fully hard-boiled egg yolk. My experience just goes to show how differently your body can react to highly soft-cooked eggs versus a strict medical food challenge. The fresh avocado and thick brioche bun were delicious. Loved it, but unfortunately due to reactions I will not be ordering again. If you have complex or conflicting egg sensitivities like me, definitely use caution here.

Don't even get me started on their little fruit bowls with the cream ball thing and Nutella sauce dip they serve with the breakfast! Drinks are phenomenal. Don't get me started on how nice the place feels and looks inside. Like a lot of people described, it is super cozy and welcoming. They have a big mirror near the entrance you can take pictures with your friends at, and as a girl, I looove it haha. There's two levels, like a loft area you can chill at if you like towering over all the other customers. I love high places so that's my favorite spot to chill. The store itself is very well themed and the decore is pretty cool. Service was even better. The good looking guy with curly hair (I think his name is Luis) who serves me on occasion is always so sweet and polite, great customer service skills. Too bad for me he has a gf, but we looove a loyal king who loves his girl! The other employees are great too btw everyone has a great attitude every time I've been, they handle the stress of the rushes well and are easy to relate to. They make it feel less as a transaction, and more like seeing a friendly acquaintance you get to catch up with. Clearly Yellowhouse has employees who know what they're doing with being not only efficient, but delivering quality drinks and service. Great all around, 10/10 would recommend.

In a dining landscape where brunch has often become an overpriced, over-hyped production, Claudine strips away the pretense and delivers exactly what matters: exceptionally high-quality food, incredibly affordable prices, and a vibrant, sun-drenched atmosphere that makes you want to linger for hours. From the moment you step up to the bakeshop, the ambiance sets the stage. The setting is absolutely perfect for basking in the California sun. With its bright, open energy, lush greenery, and breezy layout, the space almost feels tropical--a little pocket of paradise tucked away in Porter Ranch. It feels less like a standard neighborhood eatery and more like a coastal getaway where time slows down. Whether you are sitting out on the patio catching a morning breeze or enjoying the light-flooded interior, it is the kind of welcoming environment that instantly puts you at ease. But while the atmosphere gets you in the door, the culinary execution is what keeps you coming back. Claudine manages a rare trifecta in the modern restaurant scene: premium ingredients, expert scratch-kitchen execution, and prices that don't break the bank. You can taste the thoughtfulness and precision in every single dish, proving that high quality doesn't have to carry a massive price tag. Take, for instance, the classic Benedict. It was quite simply awesome. The poached eggs were executed to absolute perfection, boasting that flawless, rich, velvety golden drip the second you pierce them. Perched atop a beautifully toasted, artisanal foundation and draped in a rich, buttery hollandaise that balanced decadence with a bright touch of acidity, it is an absolute must-order. It is a dish that many high-end breakfast spots easily overcharge for, yet Claudine serves up a world-class version at a price point that feels genuinely generous. Alongside the Benedict, the avocado toast was equally brilliant. It is easy for kitchens to treat avocado toast as an afterthought, but here, it is elevated to an art form. The bread itself features a phenomenal crust and a beautiful, chewy crumb, providing the sturdiest base for a generous, perfectly seasoned smash of vibrant, ripe avocado. Crowned with thoughtful garnishes that added a delightful textural contrast and a pop of brightness, every bite was balanced, fresh, and deeply satisfying. To wash it all down, the beverage program offers a tale of two experiences. If there is one area that could use a slight lift to match the sheer excellence of the kitchen, it is the coffee program; the brews are decent, but the espresso and drip options could definitely be elevated to a slightly more premium, specialty tier to truly complement the artisanal pastry case. However, the kitchen more than makes up for it with their beverage selection--the juices were hella fresh! Crisp, vibrant, and bursting with pure, clean fruit flavor, you can tell they are pressed with care and served at the absolute peak of flavor. They are the ultimate thirst-quenchers for a warm morning under the sun. Beyond the stellar food and drink, what truly sets Claudine apart is its seamless, forward-thinking approach to hospitality. We have all been to those bustling brunch spots where you want to order just one more item--another pastry, a side of bacon, or a second round of drinks--but you can't seem to flag down a busy server. Claudine solves this elegantly. They feature a wonderful, brilliant QR code system right at your table that allows you to order more food or drinks instantly from your phone. It is pure genius. You get the speed and autonomy of a digital ordering system without sacrificing the hospitality and charm of a sit-down meal. If you decide mid-meal that you absolutely need a slice of their famous house-baked cake or a fresh juice refill, a couple of taps on your phone and it is on its way to your table. It is incredibly convenient, entirely frictionless, and a feature more restaurants should adopt. Ultimately, Claudine Kitchen & Bakeshop is a gem of a find in Porter Ranch. It captures the very best of the Southern California lifestyle--vibrant, sun-kissed, and relaxed--while maintaining a fierce commitment to culinary excellence and accessibility. Between the flawless Benedict, the brilliant avocado toast, the ultra-fresh juices, and that ingenious table-ordering system, it delivers an flawless dining experience. For a high-quality, highly affordable meal that feels like a mini-vacation, Claudine gets a glowing, well-deserved five stars.
