We have been coming here for many years and the staff was always friendly and attentive to our needs. As we just recently started to return to this establishment we have not been impressed with the availability of items on the menu I don't think that management reviews The schedule of events at the Ontario convention center and orders appropriately so that they don't run out of food this seems to be happening more and more I think management just needs to be more aware of what's going on in their community and order accordingly read more

Got to the restaurant around 11:30pm. Sat at 11:50. It's almost 1:40am and i am still here with my group, half our orders are wrong, cold, or clearly cooked in dirty pans. After literally an hour asking someone to refill we were given, "its coming." I've literally never had to wait so long at a restaurant for ANYTHING. Make sure you get the lovely Lei Lei as your server! She has the best table-side manner and takes extra special care of her guests. We visited tihs Denny's twice in the past weekend while visiting for a graduation and had the pleasure of her service. This is a very clean Denny's, food at the level you expect for a Denny's and service above and beyond, hence the 4 star rating. I do suggest the Fit Fare food (marked on their menu), so much better that the 1500 claorie french toast (though it's oh-so-good!). read more

I love Denny's! I know it's hit or miss depending on the location. I came here with my mom for breakfast on Saturday. I love how they have their fit and fare menu items! Low-carb entrees are awesome too. Our waitress was friendly mad patient. I really enjoyed my food and my mom did as well. We were greeted almost immediately when we walked in! I always look for that because it foreshadows the entire experience! I'll be back here for sure, maybe for karaoke on Tuesday nights. Oh kids eat free Tuesdays too! read more

This Denny's location "used" to be good. But the last couple times I've gone, it has been a bad experience. First, their prices went up, and their portion sizes went down. Second, the other day I ordered mashed potatoes with my meal, but what I got was no way in hell what mashed potatoes should ever be. It was watery and looked like soup with big chunks of potatoes in it. And it tasted horrible. It looked like they added the water that they boiled the potatoes in. I ended up letting the waitress know about it and even she thought it looked questionable. It should have never been served that way. I do not recommend this place at all. They either need new management or corporate needs to know how lousy this place is. Also, they should have enough staff working so when you ask for something, it's not 10 minutes until you get it (napkins, ketchup, a refill, etc). Oh, and, they no longer have Parmesan cheese. Why? My daughter orders their spaghetti and meatballs, but they don't have Parmesan. They offered shredded cheddar. Barf! Who does that??? read more

When we first discovered this Denny's had a bar, my fiancé and I had some drinks and appetizers. Jerry became our go to bartender, very attentive and friendly. It was a great experience every single time... until Covid happened. Everything changed, jerry no longer works there and we moved to San Jacinto.. but we were introduced to another amazing person YANI.. by far the best. She always makes us feel like we are the only customers, she strives to make our experience the best every single time. We AGAIN love this Denny's because it's always an awesome experience. There is no other Denny's that we have found that delivers amazing service and delicious food just the way we love it. My fiancé is exceptionally picky and always modifies his meals.. spicy crazy skillet but Yani and the chef on duty ALWAYS strive to make it exactly as ordered. We will not go to any other Denny's.. we come from San Jacinto to Ontario only when YANI is working. She is amazing and an excellent manager. Keep up the fantastic job Yani. TV monitors and speakers blaring loud acid rock and talking head docutisements and advertising throughout the dinning room created such a hostile dining environment I had to leave my lifetime favorite grandslam breakfast uneaten as I couldnt take the noise any longer. This is horrible because I have loved the pancakes and hashbrowns for my entire life and now I have to part with them forever (or until they get rid of the TV advertising in the dining room or offer a no noise section to sit in) . This review is about the whole covid operations. Denny's has been the worst and slowest to adapt to the new way of life. Orders are slow, they're always understaffed and they offer curbside delivery but when three times I've called to say I'm there and they can't bring it. The place is kinda weak. I don't know how it usually is but the zesty nachos had next to no meat on them I felt like I was eating cheese and crackers. The place looks good and everything , good service too but the order was wack. I'll give this place another shot in the future but I leave here wishing id gone to a burrito shop or something instead. Phones are not working, so if you order on-line and request curbside pick-up nobody will answer when you call to notify them you're outside to pick-up your order. They say they do not see you in the pick-up parking spot, even though it is clearly visible only about 20 feet from the outdoor dining area and the server is outside bussing and waiting on a table. They are clearly unconcerned that they have a problem that affects their customers in a negative way. I'm giving two stars because their food is OK, even if their service is terrible. read more

the only reason i gave this denny's a 2 star instead of just a one star is because the food is actually really good. this is in fact my favorite denny's establishment. but today, it was such a disappointment of a visit. i understand it's new year's day, but that is no reason to be a rude server. my boyfriend and i, very unfortunately, got zuri as our server and ruined our lunch plans. we had to wait a long while for her to even acknowledge us being there and give us drinks and managed to give us the nastiest attitude while taking our order. then, took even longer to take our order (the restaurant wasn't even full, the rush was over by then) and never checked up on us. the only time she visited our table was to give us our drinks and food. we had to ask for refills on our WATER, nothing fancy just a damn water! which was kindly brought to us by the lovely manager that was working that day, she also is the one who gave us our check after we had to ask for it because again, zuri forgot how to do her job. zuri was just on her phone behind the counter, checking on literally every table except ours and would literally go around our table and not acknowledge us. it was the most annoying experience i've encountered but it was ultimately saved to be a less crappy experience because of the manager (whose name i forgot to ask for) hope to never experience this poor service again because it just had me upset the entire time we were eating and that's unacceptable. read more

This is by far the worse experience I have had at a Denny's location. The service was really bad that, we been here since 8:40pm. And currently 9:40 still haven't received food, nor have gotten any refills on drinks either. When I asked the waitress to see how much longer it will be she said" idk i ain't a cook and can't go back there". Their excuse was that they are low on staff and weren't expecting this many people. My husband and I went to this location for lunch today. There was a little wait which I'm fine with. It's part of the times we're in right now. The extra time should be used to sanitize between customers. When it was out turn to be seated, the booth was filthy and there was a distinct smell of vomit. The surface of the table smelled of it and so did the seats. I initially didn't smell it because I had on my mask but when I took down my mask to take a drink the smell was so strong. We had already ordered our food so we just asked if we could be moved to a different table. The service was poor. It wasn't overly busy but it was very hard to track down the waitress for napkins and straws. The food was ok but my husbands chicken sandwich and fries came cold. I like Denny's but we will not be going to this location again. It was musty and not very clean, even by pre-COVID standards. read more

This is the first Denny's I have ever been to that had a bar and served alcohol, so I was pretty happy. Pitchers are only $12 which is insanely cheap since most restaurants I go to, pitchers are around $20. Our server/waiter was very kind and provided excellent service. read more

This is crazy, Tammy the bar tender still works here, now it's no secret that she is not like by a lot of people she's incredibly rude, treats people like children granted she deals with drunks I get that; however, I don't drink all I asked her for (and this was a different time I came in) was eggs, sausage, and Bacon. To which she Sighed "ahhh we can't do that you have to order a glam slam and say without the pancakes" it's not like I asked her question about astrophysics what's so hard about what I requested this woman always has to have this weird attitude of demanding compliance. "can't do that (she said) has to be this way etc. etc". I get shes insecure we all are, but it's no excuse for her to project them on to others which I have witnessed time and time agin from a sober perspective. I'm not suggesting she be fired, however this behavior should be addressed we literally will go to a different establishment if she is here. Talked to one of your other employees which I will not name her who she shared the same feelings and said she is not liked by any of the other employees as well, yet you guys keep this rude person here or don't address this poor attitude. I text my party of 4 that was about to join me here that Tammy is here so we left and went somewhere else. It's our Grandsons 8th Birthday and he wanted Denny's! Not some pizza place! The service was horrible! From the beginning until the end. They have a full bar so we ordered 2 cocktails. It took 15 minutes to get those. Had they been busy I would've understood. There were only 2 tables in the entire place! When the server came around she forgot other beverages that were ordered! We finally ordered and the food was crap! Cold and thrown together! For the prices I would expect better! I could go on and on about how crappy it was! I'm a great tipper and work in this business.
