This particular Denny's has awesome pancakes and just an all around good food. Now you don't go to Denny's for a piece of salmon or a lobster tail, but you do go for a Grand Slam Breakfast, a burger, hot coffee, pie, etc. If you stick to the Denny's traditionals, you will be full and happy, and you won't spend much money at all. But the main, #1, reason I love this Denny's is the wonderful people working there. This place has been on the corner since the 70's, and I have gone there on occasion since the 80's. This place has gone down hill very quickly! On Monday, they had people waiting to be seated and decided they would stop serving and didn't tell any of the customers. The employees were yelling at each other. The food was falling off the plates and they picked it up with their bare hands and threw back on the plate. If I could give it a negative I would. A friend convinced me to go for my birthday. The waitress who greeted us wouldn't help us find the birthday coupon on the app. One of the managers was being rude. Then the manager she went and got came out and found the coupon. He said she would help us but then she decided to disappear and never came back. Finally the rude manager came and he was honestly not nice at all. Very gruff. Didn't feel welcome. Came here at 11 at night on a Wednesday evening. Was expecting to be done with food around 11:45 or 12 latest. It's 12 and we still haven't gotten our food yet. I understand that sometimes a restaurant may be more busy than usual but it's been an hour. We only had 4 people and we only ordered an entree each. This is ridiculous, and I've never had a restaurant that takes an hour to cook some food that's most likely frozen to begin with. We haven't been to a Denny's for years, but decided to give this one a whirl since the last Denny's we tried was in a different state. We were amazed at the quality of the food we got... no, really, we were surprised. Our expectations were low! We got three breakfasts and two dinners. Most items were good to very good and the amount of care that went into making sure our food arrived hot was impressive. There are high end restaurants that could learn a lot from how Denny's packed up our food. Everything was correct. There were no missing items. The manager met my husband at pickup and checked to be sure we had everything before he left... wow! The app did not work for us and we tried. In fact, I've even featured this location on MealVideos.com Overall, I'd say probably one of the best Denny's around. The wait staff is real friendly, and except weekends I've never had to wait for a table. Today, needing to catch up with work email and more, I'd jumped in and found an empty, quiet section to setup shop and get a burger. I'd ordered the double cheeseburger (just uploaded, check it out) with fries and an iced tea, which was brought out right away. I'd booted up my computer, logged into company network and began getting work done. The burger arrived quickly, accompanied with condiments and was good. I was looking forward to leisurely enjoying this burger while catching up with email, and began devouring its juicy deliciousness and took a huge bite. My burger filled mouth inspired someone to approach, inquiring about the wireless network. He loudly asked "Is the wireless working OK?" - I'd pointed to my mouth (the internationally accepted visual for 'hey I'm chewing, go away)', and he proceeds. He not only walked up to the table, he came around to see what I was reading. Eyeballing my screen, he asks again "I want to know if WiFi is working". I muster a muffled food-filled 'yes' while attempting to chew a huge bite of double cheese burger. He responds "good, so it's working OK". I respond "Yes, its fine" which is much quicker to say than "my computer has broadband with and my phone is a hot-spot access point and I don't even need your WiFi". OMG Lemme eat. He continued to talk about the wireless "I'm just glad its working, otherwise I'd have to fix it". OK dude, I get it, you're the manager or someone responsible technically, great. Please go away and let me eat. He continues to stand there. I uncomfortably swallow enough of this un-chewed food to explain as cordially as possible that I'd be glad to have a conversation after I could continue chewing. He responded that one-way conversations are often his favorite, while he continues attempting to read my screen. The email wasn't that interesting. I put the burger down, as my enjoyment of it faded and reached for napkins to dry my hands and close the computer when he asked "so is everything else OK", I replied "everything's fine" and he finally walked away. Funny how sometimes a few minutes can weirdly seem like forever :P I ended up connecting to the WiFi too - to load up yelp.. Just kidding. I digress. Their free wireless works well and they seem to care. :P Today wasn't the experience I'd expected. I like to chew my food. I plan to return here but this is probably the last time I bring work. I waited for WiFi dude to not be at the register, avoiding the obligatory "how was everything", which would have been great if not for his incessantly disruptive inquiries disrupting my enjoying a burger. Whe I'm hungry late at night and lazy to prepare something at home, I go to this Denny's that is close to my home. I've been satisfied with the food an service but the last two times, omg. That attitude of the wittier doesn't help. She took the order for our drinks and went to wonder around doing nothing, then more people arrived, she got them a table, took their drinks order and then brought us the drinks. Then she was talking to a child she knows and because she was socializing with her coworkers she gave part of our order to other table. This place was a good place to go when I was younger. Went there tonight and I don't plan to go back. My group of 5 wasn't the only one. Small groups of two were loudly complaining of the long wait for food. Every table in the place hadn't been bussed or cleaned. The waiter got everyone's order wrong. The wait time was insane. The place was dirty. The staff was painfully slow and couldn't get a thing right. Rude. Incompetent. Slow. Miserable. Bad tasting undercooked food. However, I frequently order to go in the middle of the night (that midnight craving time), but I decided to take my friends to dine in once in the middle of the night - yes crazy I know. We are traveling through this town and decided to stop at this Denny's. We don't have any by us, so this was a nice treat. The food was amazing, and the cook really did a nice job. It's nice to eat a good meal cheaply and not worry about a ton of grease. This staff was excellent and our waitress was so sweet. This was not like a regular Denny's. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my mom, sister, and 7 week old baby. Wasn't even that busy and drinks took over 30 minutes to get to the table let alone food close to an hour. Many employees were texting and didn't seem very eager to be doing their job. As a former server, I found the entire attitude and service of our waitress unacceptable. Came excited for the grand slam "5.99" deal and honestly left very disappointed with a bad experience. Last year same thing ocurred, mgr said he would refund but didn't. We gave them another chance. Another Denny's said probably old salmon or brown fish substitute. With a dash of Old Bay seasoning it's easiest thinq to defrost couple minutes, minute or so in micro. Soft juicy & hot pink, no hard outside or funky old taste. Can use any kind of topping after turning few more seconds. Should turn even brighter pink or orange when cooked. They need to change supplier for fresh salmon. So I ordered a chicken philly for breakfast. I was looking forward to having a good meal since I rarely had any issues until today. I get home and the sandwich was soaked and fell apart. There was any chicken in here so i called and spoke to the manager. She was as rude as ever. She states the sandwich has chicken, i told her there was a few pieces in there. They also have pancakes that is perfect for those people who has a sweet tooth. It is so soft, sweet, and incredible. All of their food here is great and has a fair and reasonable price. You can literally order and try everything you want on the menu without breaking your pockets. They are cheaper than other food stores around the area. You will get you orders in just a few minutes. Everyone at their place is working so fast. You can actually tell that the food is made to order because they will serve it to you while it is hot, and it is also fresh and new. I will also recommend to try their Chicken sizzling because it is also their best seller and it is incredibly delicious in such an affordable price. Denny's place is so amazing. Terrible!!!!! Floor is always dirty!!! They don't tell you up front if they out of some ingredients (waited 40 minutes for nothing!) Never come Saturdays (evening or night time) so many drunk people! Finally the food comes after 50 mts and my wife who is a Muslim ordered eggs and hash browns finds sausage pcs in her hash browns. This is the fifth time she found sausage in her food at this location. Their explanation is that they use the same grill for everything so it's possible to get pork or beef in your food. How inconsiderate can u be, the African American lady at the counter makes a face when she sees the sausage and walks off, Pedro our server says if you want to speak to the manager I can call him. If the management looks into reviews which I'm sure they never do they should do something or else someone will end up taking them to court. And, if you can't hire good service staff then don't hire a bunch of morons to run your show. Finally, we walked out hungry and on our way to McDonald..
