I just found another restaurant to skip in Paso Robles. Left to wonder if they will follow Chili's out of business. Starting with our waitress skipping taking a drink order. Go on to taking orders then coming back 10 minutes later saying oh we don't serve that meal anymore (it was on the menu) and didn't bring a menu with her for him to choose a new dinner. When his eggs over easy arrived they were squeaking for their momma bird. Left on the plate in a gooey puddle. Salmon so overcooked it was a dry choking hazard. The garlic bread was the best part of that meal! Third meal, veggies were so cold they may have only been thawed in the microwave . Best service ever! We decided to stop at this location because we were on our way to Pismo Beach, and like always this restaurant has good deals. Well apparently this location doesn't offer the value meal..at all. So I was pretty disappointed, and the waitress was so kind to give us the cheeseburger meal for 6 dollars!!! Instead of the regular 10.75. Thank goodness, because we were a family of 7. Cleanliness was good, the social distance rule was in place, and of course customer service was amazing! read more

I love Denny's. It's an amazing place to go when you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner at almost any time of the day. This thing is, however, was not the Denny's experience I've had before. We went on Thanksgiving night, and that right there, you know, it's gonna be busy. But it was expected. We called before so we can take it back to our hotel, and the employees were very backed up and understaffed. When we got our food, we looked over it to make sure everything was OK. We had to trade some food out because there was none left. When we got back to the hotel that was like five minutes away, we start eating food and it's starting to get pretty soggy pretty fast. I got a burger when I was halfway through it. The bread was so soggy, and nothing was really wet inside the box, so I don't understand how it got really soggy, but it was OK. read more

Arrived at this establishment for dinner with my three kids, the hostess said it would be a ten minute wait time for seating, when I looked over it was almost completely empty maybe 15% capacity if that which left me scratching my head why I had to wait by the door with my three little kids for 15 minutes? The waitress was not pleasant and I only saw her three times to take the order bring the food and to drop off the bill right after I got the food she never asked if we needed any thing forgot our drinks twice had to get up three times to get what I needed maple syrup, mustard and our drinks who gives you pancakes and no syrup? She got the bill wrong charge us for bacon we didn't order and a double cheese burger when I only ordered a single? The food was A 3 out of 10 . Denny's needs a full make over. From the restroom to the dining area, or just a detailed cleaning The food use to be good but not you never know what your getting. This morning I got an English muffin that has some green stuff on it. The host wanted to pass it of as avocado , no it wasn't! They did adjust my bill in compensation for giving me spoiled English muffins! The waitress was great. She served with a smile and did her best to offer excellent customer service. (includes All you can eat pancakes) that's a great deal if your hungry and carbing up for the day hehe.I was really surprised at the menu, having many options to choose from! l came by myself this afternoon. they had about 20 customers. my food came in within 10 minutes after my order. My french toast tasted great, but i didnt like my scrambled eggs so much. They looked like they made them from a carton of whisked eggs and were not fresh. But my hot chocolate tasted awesome! The manager was standing at the register drinking coffee and looked like he didn't want to be there.. He was seating us, and was kinda rude. Our server was pregnant, sweet and got our order down and food came super fast. When it was time to pay, I had $100 bill and my change was $54. He refused to give me change for the $50 bill. Was only able to tip $5. I wanted to give her at least $20. We are traveling. We stayed in the parking lot for about 30 minutes rearranging our things, bluetooth our devices to the car and other things like that checking our gauges. Apparently, we couldn't do that in their parking lot. A big woman with a bun who looked like "Maui" from Moana kept coming out and staring at us and pointed at us with her pencil like it was "Maui's hook". I thought, how rude we were paying customers. God forbid if our car broke down in the parking lot. So after that spectacle we left. Foods great but I doubt I will be going back to that Denny's after that, I didn't do anything wrong but to make me feel like I was doing wrong being singled out like that... That was not right. I can't say that I was thrilled with my experience here. Although we were seated fairly quickly, we had to wait about 15 minutes until I had to ask for the waiter. I do appreciate the attentiveness they had after I brought up the lack of service. I ordered the strawberry cream pancakes and I was content at best. The hash brown was good, the strawberries were fine, but I had about a sausage and a half. Not to be picky but it was definitely not the advertised two. I came here for a breakfast while visiting Paso Robles. I like Denny's and would recommend the food but the service needs more functionality. read more

The manager here Carlos is the worst human I've ever met. I went in here with my 4 kids. What Enticed us was the kids eat free. Otherwise we wouldn't have even ate here because of previous reviews. However we are ordered, we knew we had to pay for 2 of the kids. No issues. However, we went to the counter to pay and the red bead girl gave the reciept to the manager and walked away. The manager said well you guys didn't order soda so you pay for the kids meals. I was like "what? The waitress didn't mention that when we ordered water?" "He said that's cool, it'll be 58$" trust me money is not the issues, the issue was that my family doesn't drink soda. We ordered water because that's our preferred beverage. The manager had no care, no worry, no remorse and didn't want to listen to a word I had to say. I asked for the managers number and he denied me the number after telling me he was the manager of the Dennys. I asked for anyone's number I could talk to, and was dennied. Fortunately I know another person who previously worked here who gave it to me. I called and that manager was nice. However the man's name is Carlos and he's a complete jerk. This was by far the dirtiest Denny's I have ever been to. Everything was gross! The bathroom had paper towels piled to the floor, flies against the windows inside everywhere, dirty utensils, sticky tables, greasy floors. It is short staffed. I felt bad for the one lady doing everything (seating customers, serving, processing payments, cleaning up tables) all by herself with no help. My wife and I stopped here for lunch on the way home to fresno and the waitress was absolutely rude. We got seated and And she gave us two glasses of water. I swear I think she pulled these glasses out of the dirty bin on purpose. The glasses had film caked on the glass it was so gross. My wife started to clean the glass with a napkin out of disbelief and when the waitress seen her she immediately brought us two fresh glasses of water. Sat in a booth with the serving area on the other side of a half wall. Listened to servers rather loud small talk. They didn't have the veggie burger that I ordered, so I chose bacon and eggs with fresh fruit. My partner had the scrambled eggs and ham and cheese sandwich. His came with hash browns. Nothing had a drop of seasoning. Looking around at the rather elderly diners I figured that's who they cater to. 2 stars for a very nice waitress and a nice side of fresh fruit. It's a Denny's. This alone makes the max star from me to be a 3. The service was okay... a few rude employees heard in the background. About the same cleanliness as another Denny's we were at on our run... and it's pretty bad. Food was mediocre. I personally got a bowl of grits and a couple links (that come out looking like burned fingers and tasted the same) and we jammed.
