I went there with my son to go out to eat dinner after a movie. It was a really nice experience. We were seated promptly and our waitress came over and introduced herself as Cindy. She was constantly smiling upbeat cheerful. Got our orders correct and came out with the food fast. She checked on us not too often but often enough and even chatted a little bit which was nice. Denny's what happened? I used to come here back in the day with no concerns. I went in there today, ordered 2 items and before I could say anything else the waitress says "that's a lot of food." I told her I eat a lot just wanna let you know. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were greeted and seated almost immediately. Very nice and friendly staff. However when they brought my food out it was cold. Then they brought my boyfriends food out, failed to mention to him until he had his food that they did not have any buffalo sauce for the boneless wings(which is supposed to be on them because of what he ordered.) and he was disappointed because the boneless buffalo wings are why he ordered it. My boyfriend asked the waitress to remake my food, when they brought out the new food it had less than the first plate did and the sausage looks wrinkled and dry. Went in at 730pm today and Restaurant was very slow. It took 2 minutes for someone to greet at hostess stand only because I said something and a gentleman eating stood up and seated us. We then waited more than 8 minutes and no one ever came to our table to greet , offer us drinks or acknowledge us. I counted at least 3 servers , which was more than enough for the amount of customers in the dining room. We got up and left after more than 8 minutes. They used to have good service on busier days like Sundays. No more, don't waste your time there. Not going back. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I've been going to this Denny's for years as an engineering student at ASU. My server has been mostly Michael and he delivers exceptional service for a midnight oil burners, such as myself. Most servers here give great service for students such as myself, especially since most places close past 10:00PM, which leaves us night-owls in troublesome situations when we need a place to study. This Denny's is a good study spot and the servers are reasonably accommodating. I do ask, personally, that, if you do use their facilities for studying and only order tea or hot chocolate, that you tip the servers well if they stay attentive to your needs as a student. My experience today was awful! Visited on my birthday with expecting better tasting food! To enjoy the free birthday meal, you now must sign up for their app but have the month to use it. It only allows you a grand slam-I went at lunch time so chose a lunch/dinner selection from the 55+ menu. Th coffee was just warm. The country fried steak was ok but the mashed potatoes with gravy was un-edible! A tad of potatoes massively covered in Luke warm gravy with a sour taste. Burnt toast served beside it. The ranch dressing on my salad was flavorless! My recommendation is to avoid this place. read more

Nadia was the best part of the entire experience! She was so personable and fun. Chicken biscuits and gravy was good the chicken was soft and crispy. Eggs Benedict was on the sweet side. Though it's been months since I've been here I have one recommendation to those in charge: Give Nadia the recognition she deserves. I ordered dinner from here on April 19. I had it delivered by Uber, and I cannot express enough how unsatisfying the service and quality of food was. While Uber did their part in getting the food to me, the driver was unable to deliver the food in a timely manner because Denny's had failed to complete another order, thus leaving my food sit for quite some time. By the time the food was delivered to me, it was cold and stale. To save from explaining twice, I will copy and paste my email to Uber Eats... -------------- "My order was horrendous. Let me first start by saying the driver was wonderful, his service was impeccable. The restaurant, however, was incredibly short on their service. First, the driver was kind enough to inform me that the restaurant was delayed on another order which made mine wait longer. By the time it arrived, it was about as cold as food could get. The omelette was cooked half open, cheese dried and stale and the ham was hardly even cooked inside the omelette. We did not select hash browns with cheese, yet cheese was added to the hash browns and the combination of them being burnt along with the food being so cold, it turned the entire order of hashbrowns in to a hockey puck. I had purchased a side of sour cream for this meal and it was not included. For the order of chicken tenders with mozzarella sticks, the additional sides of ranch I had requested as well as the marinara included with the mozzarella sticks was not included either. Because the food was so cold, the mozzarella sticks were soggy and stale and the chicken was completely dried out. Ranch and marinara (that I paid for) might have made them bearable to eat, but they were carelessly excluded. It's suffice to say that this meal was not eaten. I find no satisfying resolution outside of a COMPLETE refund for my order or, at the very least, a full credit applied back to my account for future use." -------------- Uber Eats refused to work with me on this issues and I'm forced to come here and lodge my complaint because, to be totally honest, Uber did nothing wrong - Denny's did. read more

Don't really frequent Denny's. They were a great restaurant chain a long time ago, but really got bad for a long time. They are much better now. The restaurants have been upgraded and cleaned up. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Server tonight must have a bad hair today. No personality, which is tough to fix. She was not very attentive, and we had to ask her several times to get something. They were not very busy. Will I come back? Sure. If I get her as a server next time, will I ask for another server?
