Denny is a cool place. First few nights on the streets..But other than that good place to eat

Never again will I go back here. Easter Sunday and I literally sat down, ordered with the family then I look to the right and what do I see?? Two cockaroaches crawling on the wall. Needless to say I will never be going back. We got up and walked out. read more

Bad service and greasy food. Wouldn't eat here again unless I was in a bind. Old building makes it look dirty to begin with and the workers don't seem to try to make it better. I would avoid this place and go to the Denny's at the Redlands Mall if your looking for a Denny's in Redlands. Ate there a few times and had a much better experience. read more

Cold food and understaffed. Missing items and food was gross. I watched my food sit there waiting for the waitress Mayra to pick it up for 5 mins. Other people started to complain and ask for the manager and some walked out. People were ready to check out and she wasn't around. read more

Worst Dennys Restarant ever. First they make you wait 5-10mins for a seat and the place have plent of area to sit at. Then once they sat you down they take fucking about 15-20 mins to take your order. Server will give u attitiude. Absolutely WORST SERVICE EVER!! Waiter was left alone with a full house of guest! Did not get checked on AT ALL after our food came out! I had to get our own refills! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! And to top it off after asking for the manager the service only got worse! Manager had the WORST ATTITUDE literally making hand gestures, smart remarks, unprofessional all the way, and did not seem to care! Absolutely escalating my issue with corporate! Went on a Saturday during the dinner rush with a big group, the manager was very welcoming and our waitress worked very hard.

This is my Denny's of choice in the I.E. solely because of the service. I have always been greeted with a smile and seated under 5 minutes, even on the weekend. Your common breakfast menu to suit all appetites, breakfast 24 hours, good coffee and again excellent service. The waiters are just so nice!! :) read more

This place was horrid and I normally love love love dennys we should of know by the empty parking lot to stear clear but gave them the benifit of the doubt...bad idea. We were sat in a hot corner that was nat infested (I had to smash three myself just to be able to eat ) and the server asked five times in ten min time if we were sure we didn't want more then water. The food was supar (wet scrambled eggs) and when he brought the food he also set the check down at the same time...made us feel rushed and I felt it was rude....will NEVER eat here again! read more

Sunday 915 entered restaurant- sat down- 10 mins to get order for drinks. Completed our order 930. 40 mins goes by and no sense of when the food will come out. Waitress never came back once. We asked for time and was advised theres a lot of people. With a rude attitude we will not return. read more

This Denny's smelled terrible! The front lobby and the bathrooms both smelled bad. The only redeeming thing about my experience was that the server was really nice. The food was alright... It's Denny's. I would only go here again if I desperately had to and there were no other choices. read more

Don't come to this place after midnight. Very bad service! Server was grumpy the whole time! He put our menu and drinks down like he was mad that we were eating there at that time of the night. I always order Country fried steak and was looking forward to it but when it came out it was really hard like they had a canceled order of the food and just re fried it. Also there was hair on my food! I'm never coming back here again. You'd think they would have great service because its in Redlands. The Dennys by Washington St. in Colton had better service and food. read more

Service at this location is very poor when making a telephone order or when trying to place an order on-line. Their site did not allow hamburgers to be ordered. When I called to notify the Manager, I was placed on hold and he never came back to take my order over the telephone or to inform me that the problem had been corrected. Instead after hanging up and trying again, the line was busy. I had to wait until son arrived and was told there was no order placed to be given to another Manager, I was told by her that she did not have any responsibility for the site and could not help me with that. I wanted her to take my order and she gave me to an underling instead. He kept interrupting me while I was trying to place my order. We usually go to the other location in Redlands but they are closed for relocation. The Denny's site does not even indicate that this is the case. It just is gone from the site. I am very disappointed in the service from this location. I have also notified their corporate site of their poor service. read more

I will not be coming back to this Denny's again due to the terrible service. I came here to study and, like a good patron, I ordered some food and some coffee. After my food I opened my book and that's when what little service there was stopped completely. I waited 45 minutes before I was able to get someone to refill my coffee and water. I am not a high maintenance guy but I do have basic expectations. These expectations were not met. The restaurant was moderately busy but there were open tables throughout so it's not like I was hoarding a needed table. I usually like Denny's but this location falls short. In the future I will be going to IHOP. read more

Just left this place only paying for one meal because my boyfriend's food was not even cooked all the way through. The young man at the counter was very helpful however, our server who was an older lady was very rude when we asked for The lumberjack slam to be taken off of our bill because we did not eat it. When we told the young man she said "they never told me anything..." But we were not given the chance because she never came back to check on our table. Very rude server. Came in during the early morning and ordered the value breakfast slam. While I was the only diner at an early hour, my experience here was probably in the top ten Denny's visits. Wait staff was well dressed, courteous, and friendly. The value slam had scrambled eggs cooked to the perfect type of "doneness" that balances moist with throughly cooked without runny parts or chewy parts. The pancakes similarly were spot on. They smelled like a vanilla cake coming out of the oven. Bacon? Yeah, choose that over the links. I could tell it was just made over something out of a bin. I go to dennys often this one 2 as by far the best one I've been to in a while. The fit fare veggie skillet was prepared perfect. Better then my regular dennys. The service was great for it being easter will be back to this one if in the Redlands area again. read more

What an improvement! My husband wanted to come here because it was close to where we were shopping. I was scared to come back, but I'm glad we did. It smelled much better inside than it did last time. Maybe carpets were shampooed. The food looked fresh, it was hot and was very good. We had a cute little server named Lucy. Best Denny's for breakfast. Jose (server) is friendly and usually on his A-game. Today seemed like an off day. Service was a tad on the slow side. But still great for a Denny's. Its Bacon month or something. There is a special menu just for Bacon. I tried the bacon mac n' cheese balls and those were great. read more

Had breakfast here today and it was awful. We got our drinks right away but then had to wait for 15 minutes to order and when we got it my turkey bacon was cold and limp like it wasn't cooked all the way. My friend ordered coffee and they never refilled it or checked on us once. My hot coco had the mix cakes into the bottom of the mug like they didn't even mix it. I've been here before and it was adequate but I will never come again on a Saturday morning if ever. read more

Waited about 40-45 mins for food to come out , way too long when it wasn't even busy , next time I'll go to IHOP.

Ventured in at 8:50 pm because I wanted soup. Waited for the host to argue with a waiter about someone else wanting pecans or something. During the five minutes standing there I noticed almost all the tables had not been cleaned off. Wondering where we would sit, I spaced out thinking about the soup I thought I was going to have. Finally, the host found a booth that was not dirty. I should have taken the clue when another lady seated at the bar was waving down a waitress only to be told she would be there in a minute. Five more minutes went by. No sign of getting any service even though one, I think, wautress brought the rabke next to us a box. Five more minutes later I realized how stupud I was to even set foot in this place. It didnt take a second later to convince my wife we wiuld die of starvation waiting on anyone to come take our order or even give us water. Stay the hell away from this place unless you have the whole night to kill. read more

This is the worst Dennys I've been to. I'm not usually a picky person and not hard to please but there are a few things I expect from a Denny's. We were there at about 3 pm and it was not busy. The first thing is bacon. The bacon arrived at our table burnt. I was surprised the cook would put it on our plates that way and even more surprised the waiter would serve it to us. We politely sent it back. When the replacement bacon was served to us, it wasn't quite cooked to the way I'm used to from Dennys and it was still covered in sizzling grease. I had to use napkins to absorb the grease myself. The waiter was friendly but had to be distracted by something again it wasn't busy but he cleared forks from the table before we were finished eating and we had to ask for syrup for pancakes. I probably would not be irritated with that had it not been for the bacon The counter was dirty and there was food on the floor. We won't return to this location. read more

The food is good, and Chris, our server is very attentive!!! Great atmosphere!!! We come here before heading back up the mountain.

The taste never changes wherever I go. I always order the same thing. But I noticed that in this specific restaurant, the sirloin steaks are much smaller. You also get a smaller portion of mashed potatoes. The seats are uncomfortable as usual, but you're only there for an hour so what the heck. This restaurant has the best employees. Prompt to refill your drinks. The restrooms are unsanitary as it is on every Denny's Restaurants. Lovely location. I come here every weekend. read more

The staff and managers were great at seating guest as the arrived. I visit this Dennys often for dinner and breakfast. But today at 11 30 a.m. my waitress was horrible! I asked for a senior meal and it took 10 mins just to get my coffee. When I ordered the salad with my meal, I requested no croutons but it came with them anyway. When I received my entree the waitress did not check back for a refill or if I needed anything else like additional napkins. I watched this waitress go to all the other tables to see what else they needed but not once did she look my way. The next time I visit which I will, I will have one of the men be my waiter, they have always been attentive no matter if I order from the senior menu or regular menu. I still left a tip for the woman waitress that ignored me. It is dishaertning to be treated differently than the rest of the customers even though I was solo and a senior. This waitress even walked passed me in a rush to greet a regular customer with a smile and a hearty greeting and took her coffee before she could sit down wow!!!! read more

This shout out is for Juan. I have been served by him many times of the random times I have popped in the last few years. He is extremely hard working and pleasant!!!! He sometimes looks like he's doing the work of 2 or 3 people and is quick and efficient with a smile! I eat out quite a bit and there are very few people I can say this about. The minute I see him I know we will be well taken care of and even if they happen to be working short I don't mind because I can see he is working so hard. St. Patrick's day. Understaffed, poor service. Served three people before they got to us. When we finally got our food it was like warm. Was driving decided to stop and grab some breakfast, bad decision this Denny's has bad customer service specially one guy that has glasses and gray hair he gossips the entire time with employees. I sat at the bar area I saw the food sitting there for about 5 minutes getting cold...smh. manager is really friendly with customers, and tries to get things done, but the others guy that's a no no. read more
