5 stars for Mayra - she's seriously awesome. Had a group of 25 youth camp counselors in for breakfast and she handled everything beautifully and was so KIND. We had multiple checks and complex orders and she handled it all like a champ. We come here every year before the summer camp starts, and this was by far the best service we've ever received. I torn between giving a bad review, but at the same time I can't and here is the reason. Although there is an American flag hanging in front of the restaurant, the entire staff was speaking Spanish to themselves and customers. They even greeted customers in Spanish. I am a proud Central American; however, I am also proud of being an American. I served this country as a U.S. Marine and the it is my belief that the language spoken in every business here should be the language of this beautiful country that has given us Hispanics the opportunity to come and work here. With that said, I gotta say, the staff is amazing. The server, although he kept speaking in Spanish was funny to listen to and it seemed like they were having fun. So this is why I'm torn. My server was very attentive and the food was good. Had a rough day and just dropped of a friend. Could figured out what to eat since I had the kids with me. We where heading to a five guys but saw to our surprise a Denny's. We tried getting to it but it is weirdly located immediately after turning right, on you right if you took the westbound exit. The motel next to it gives it an uneasy sense of walking in to a mugging. There where suspicious people outside talking through windows and bothe the motel and the restaurant are poorly lit. To the place. As I enter the first room has a musky, stale, moldy smell. I feared the restaurant would smell the same. Luckily it didn't. This lovely girl help us. Sadly I don't remember her name but she had a giant brade. There was a casualy dress older gal who seem really nice kinda floating here and there randomly. The food was pretty prompt but the quality was below what's expected from Denny's. Only thing that was good out of 2 adult, 3 kids order was the gravy on my biscuits bad gravy. So no point on going in depth on the blah ness. Defitnetly the one star is for the nice server. We got our bill and I tried to pay. The young girl said I HAD to go up to register and paid, and seem sorried. I tip the girl and we went up to pay I got handed back the receip by the older lady saying. You did not add a tip.??? I was like I already tip our server.... She ask what do you mean... After explaining it all she still asked the server in front of me if I had tipped her. .????? 5 STARS JUAN!! We visited Denny's on our way to taking the kids to camp. Our server was Juan who was very attentive and kind. We arrived for breakfast so there was regulars there. It was nice to see the employee knew them by name and even said they'll see them tomorrow. The previous recent review below of Christiano was correct the employees are all Hispanic which I see nothing wrong with. The servers spoke English and when addressing our children and myself they were all respectful and loving. Stopped by to grab some breakfast after a doctor's appointment at Loma Linda since I always find Denny's to be a safe bet. This was my first time at this location so I was anxious to see how my experience would differ from my usual go-to Denny's in Rancho Cucamonga (off Baseline). My husband and I were seated immediately. The restaurant manager took our drink orders quickly and brought them to us. I was pretty hungry, and waited longer than I would have hoped for someone to take our order. I think we waited a good 10-15 minutes before our waitress finally approached us. I was quite surprised to discover that she was the only waitress in the restaurant. I mean, sure it's a Wednesday morning, but ONE waitress? There were at least 7 different tables seated while we were there. Fortunately, our waitress was great! I ordered the Veggie & Cheese Omelet with Egg Whites and requested Avocado on top of my omelet. I asked to substitute fruit for my hashbrowns and had a bagel for my selection of toast. My husband had the steak & eggs, and he asked that the steak be cooked medium. I usually order vegetable omelets for breakfast, and one of my biggest pet-peeves is when they do not sauté the vegetables properly. The mushrooms and tomatoes in my omelet were still raw, and the cheese had not even melted. My husband's steak was cooked well-done, which he was disappointed about. This Denny's is really ono (good) we have Denny's in Hawaii and it don't taste as good as the mainland and the one here... compliments to the chef because my food was perfectly done. The service was okay to sub par. The waitress, who may have been the owner or manager, was in casual clothes and elderly. While she was sweet, she was not server material. It was awkward interacting with her and I felt like she was short with my party since it was mostly kids. I don't really feel like I should have had to tip for this experience but at this Denny's, you have to add gratuity onto the bill before they run your card. SO. AWKWARD. I didn't know and I handed it to her blank, so she handed it back and said "aren't you going to add gratuity?" Erhmahgerd. I would have anyways but just that interaction made me cringe! Not even a busy Sunday morning hour and it took forever to get served. The staff seem to be masters of scanning a room and seeing nothing. The meal was mediocre (tried something new; oh well) but the deal-breaker was the lack of beverage service. While eating alone, I sat with an empty glass in front of me, beside me, held shoulder-level in the air, and no notice at all for more than 10 minutes each time. Eventually, one refill came. QUICK & ATTENTIVE STAFF I came to this Denny's on 01/17/16 and we were served by Marelene R. She was amazing. Brought everything out so quickly (credit to the cooks as well-the food was excellent) and even went out of her way to bring out the birthday ice cream and birthday singers. A few months ago I gave up going to Denny's all together. But today we decided to give this Denny's a try. It was well over 90 degrees outside and inside there was no air on. But that didn't stop us from eating. I ordered a salad and the hubby ordered breakfast. When I ordered my salad I find out they no longer serve cranberries with your salad very disappointing. My husbands breakfast looks good. And my salad well... it looked like the cook took a head of lettuce cut it in four and threw it on my plate... as soon as I got my salad I noticed quite a few brown weathered leaves... I just took them out and continued eating my salad. Almost done with my salad I noticed this very gross brown mush in the core of my salad. I was so disgusted... I was just going to throw it away... but I thought ppl should plz be on the look out of what your eating...cause obviously these ppl in the kitchen don't care about their job or the ppl they are serving. Horrible service! I did a phone order and they told me it'll be 15mins. I came in 10 mins later to pay and wait. Ended up waiting for 50mins as I say there and see people that came in after me even get there food first. While mine was half ready and sitting on the out going counter for a while just waiting on pancakes as the cashier told the female cook multiple times within 15mins she still didn't do it until I complain to the other staff. I then ask for the manager and she said ok but then try to solve the problem by asking what I'm waiting for as I'm telling her not even finishing she walks away like how are you going to ask and not even listen?! I really wanted my money back but my kids was so hungry I just took the food. And still didn't get to speak to the manager. I won't be coming back. Came in here last Saturday . We rented that room they have there .. Like a little "salon" anyways our waiter was JOSEPH . We had a church event and he was awesome . We were about 20-30 people and his customer service was Great ! From the moment we stepped in till the end , always following up on the orders trying to be as fast as possible , and making sure we were satisfied . This Denny's always has fast and friendly service. The food was good. Great for breakfast.

We have previously had decent service at this store, but on this visit there were no english speaking servers, service was slow and we had to get up several times to ask for things. We noticed that hispanic customers were treated better. The police circled the lot several times and finally came inside to interview some shady looking men. I got food poisoning. When I started feeling better, i was hungry and my leftover turkey club was the only thing in the fridge. An hour after I ate it, the food poisoning started again, so I blame Denny's. read more

The service was absolutely terrible this morning. When we were seated we sat for close to 20 minutes before they even asked us if we wanted something to drink. Even after they took the drink order they still didn't bring the drinks for close to 15 minutes. In the same section another couple was seated after us and received their food and drinks before we could even order. We receive our drinks and give our food order after. She doesn't get the order right when we get our food back so it gets sent back. We had no silverware when the food was given to us so we had to ask for it.
