This place was just gross. Our waitress was a bit lazy talking from one side of three tables to our group on the other side taking our order instead of walking over to the other side. Then she forgot the one persons order who needed it the most and that was our pregnant family member. The chicken fried steak was just gross and the hashbrowns were hard. Ordered pickup online, pickup time "ASAP" was unavailable. Called to place the order over the phone and was told I had to do it online so I picked the next available time which was an hour later. I asked if that would delay the order and was told no it would be ready in a few minutes. Arrived 15 minutes later and was told it was nowhere to be found. I showed my receipt and was told there was nothing that could be done until the order arrived "on her screen". I asked for a refund and was told that also could only be done online. The manager spent the hour I waited telling me I should have come down and ordered for pickup in person. I'm a non-Denny's person--I've avoided it when possible for 40 years. But it's 4 a.m., I just dropped somebody at the airport and nothing else is open. How bad can it be? This bad: before I was in the door, a waitress blocked my way and told me the graveyard cook hadn't shown up, she'd been on since 3:30 the previous day, and all she had was scrambled eggs, pancakes and either bacon or sausage. No options, so I went for it. "I'll go cook that for you," she said, and disappeared. I sipped my room temperature coffee and played with my phone and after awhile she came back with a pile of eggs, mound of undercooked hash browns, two dried out sausages the size of green beans and a tab for $22.14. Worst breakfast I've had since the Army. I'm giving two stars. One is for Denny's, because I can't give zero. The other's for the waitress, for trying. Stopped in for breakfast before heading to the airport. Went fine. No issues and food was how it normally is for dennys. No issues at all.

Easy to get to from airport/hotel surrounding area with wide sidewalks and lit paths. My service was fantastic with quick hot turnaround service. I love that they have the skillets back on the menu. My one disappointment was the milkshake- it was not thick at all but the flavor was on point. I was able to get my leftovers to go and they reheated great. read more

We've visited this Denny's location multiple times and it holds a special place in my nephew's heart since it's located across from our alma mater (Wooster High School) but a visit to this Denny's location is always inconsistent; sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. Unfortunately, this recent was a mix of both. When we arrived, I immediately noticed a stench in the air, I thought maybe it was the bus-person clearing the table because it smelled of stale, stagnant water or mildew. But when we were seated at a table, the smell persisted, so it maybe coming another part of the restaurant. It was kind of off putting for me but the rest of our party didn't seem to mind. Our server, Claudia, checked in with our party moments later to take our drink orders: Coke Zero, Lemonade and iced teas. After a couple of minutes we ordered our entrees: a Slam Burger, a Waffle Slam, the Stuffed Berry French Toast and the Brisket-It-All Melt. All our entrees arrived at the table in a timely manner but imperfect. There didn't seem to be any problems with nephew's Slam Burger and he thoroughly enjoyed his order. My niece and I liked our waffle and French Toast Slams respectively but my slam combo seemed to have been missing the hash browns, plus my "stuffed" French toast's stuffing was melted whipped cream instead of sweetened cream cheese (according to Denny's website). The brisket in my sister's Brisket Melt was so over-cooked, it was tough to chew and some pieces were downright burnt. The food preparation could've been better executed. The best part of our meal was Claudia's friendly and attentive service. But the quality of the food was not worth the $100+ bill. Overall, our dining experience fell very short of good; there's definitely room for improvement and we would be a little bit more hesitant to pay this Denny's location a return visit. read more

I ordered via Uber Eats as a pickup order! I will never order again from them late night or early morning because this was the 3rd time my order was not ready! This last time (7/18/26 3:01 pickup ) I was there a couple of minutes late and even was able to use the bathroom & still had to wait! They out did themselves, so I asked the lady that was not doing anything could she pass me my order because my 30 minute lunch break was almost over, she went & gave my name to the guy working by himself in front, he then in passing me said he had to get the people sitting in the booths first and proceeded to drop off their drinks, cool!! Then he hands me a bag of food that's not mine & hurried into the back! I yelled hey this isn't my order , the lady just told you my name for the order! He finally gives me my order and doesn't put any utensils, napkins, or condiments in the bag! Dear Lord, stay away! There must be another place to eat in Reno. Avoid this place at all costs. Upon entering, the staff was too busy visiting with friends to be concerned with customers. There were more empty dirty tables than there were clean ones. The staff member who finally took our order made us feel like she was inconvenienced in doing her job. To obtain a refill was like pulling teeth. The food was cold. The veggies tasted like they were frozen. The omelet was tasteless and cold. The toast had enough butter on it that it was the size of my thumb. The food is good but can't take any orders for pick up over the phone. Ordering online the food is more expensive and prices have only gone up recently. Dennys is a place where you go when it's late at night and the only place open. I'll be honest our experience here was okay. We were very skeptical because it was a Friday night around 3am and it was the only place open. There were so many to go orders, but it seemed like they kept on missing, or having mistakes on them. The person that sat us and took our order seemed like they did not want to be there. Good thing the manager was there to give us our orders and give us great service. I went to this Denny's for dinner. There was no wait. I was seated right away. I wanted to eat healthy so I ordered the Wild Alaskan Salmon dish. It comes with two sides so I opted for the garden salad and brocoli. When the plate was brought to my table, the plate was small and the portions of salmon and broccoli were even smaller. The menu shows a 55+ option and a regular order option so I asked the server if I was getting the regular portion of food. He responded yes and agreed the portion was very small. Feeling bad for me, he went and got me another side salad and a coffee on the house. With that said, the service was great and the place was looking nice and very clean. On my way out, I noticed big skillets and big plates on people's tables. They all showed big portions of food. Next time, forget about the salmon. I'll be going for the good stuff. read more

Q and Maria were so great!! They made my boyfriend and I laugh and smile. Maria was so sweet and Q was super funny! The food came out super fast and was delicious! The music wasn't super loud, which was a big plus in my book because we like to read a book together in restaurants, except I forgot it this time. Only reason Im giving two starts was because our server was nice and the lady in front. I only had a bit of money to take my daughter out just us two on Mother's Day weekend. I couldn't tell you last time we were able to go out to eat. Well, we chose here unfortunately. We ordered water. Tastes like pipes. Ordered mozzarella sticks. Had to send back. Outside was crispy. Inside was really cold. They brought us another order of them. Still cold but we said whatever and ate them. We got to the last one and there was NO CHEESE in it! Hollow! We said whatever. Then he brings our food and Asked how the mozzarella sticks were. Showed him how one didn't have cheese. Didn't even mention how they were still cold. We said it's fine we're just gonna eat our main food. I ordered the breakfast skillet. I said no mushroom. I'm allergic. I get it. I start to eat, and I started to get something chewy, I spit out and it's a mushroom. I flipped the eggs off the top and it's COVERED IN MUSHROOM. I asked them to just take it back. I didn't want to order anything else. My daughter and I just split her breakfast sandwich. He brings back a single mozzarella stick. My daughter goes to split it between us two and it's LITERALLY A frozen cheese stick in the middle. Literally frozen! We were frustrated so we cleaned our table, paid, and left. Please go to any other Dennys in town. This was the worst experience I have had at Denny's in my life, so bad that for a person who never gives bad reviews came to give a bad review. The place is gross and the food tasted like day old soggy waste, which is crazy because they messed up my order as well and I didn't get what I ordered. The service was awful as well, they weren't too busy or was it an "off day", they are just terrible at their jobs. I genuinely could not believe that a Denny's like this ever existed.
