We had excellent service, especially after it was really slammed with customers!! My husband and I enjoyed our omelets, they were a little cold! My daughter liked her BLT sandwich, but not the eggs! My son enjoyed his slammed burger, but fries were cold and hard! We will be back

We've visited this Denny's location multiple times and it holds a special place in my nephew's heart since it's located across from our alma mater (Wooster High School) but a visit to this Denny's location is always inconsistent; sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. Unfortunately, this recent was a mix of both. When we arrived, I immediately noticed a stench in the air, I thought maybe it was the bus-person clearing the table because it smelled of stale, stagnant water or mildew. But when we were seated at a table, the smell persisted, so it maybe coming another part of the restaurant. It was kind of off putting for me but the rest of our party didn't seem to mind. Our server, Claudia, checked in with our party moments later to take our drink orders: Coke Zero, Lemonade and iced teas. After a couple of minutes we ordered our entrees: a Slam Burger, a Waffle Slam, the Stuffed Berry French Toast and the Brisket-It-All Melt. All our entrees arrived at the table in a timely manner but imperfect. There didn't seem to be any problems with nephew's Slam Burger and he thoroughly enjoyed his order. My niece and I liked our waffle and French Toast Slams respectively but my slam combo seemed to have been missing the hash browns, plus my "stuffed" French toast's stuffing was melted whipped cream instead of sweetened cream cheese (according to Denny's website). The brisket in my sister's Brisket Melt was so over-cooked, it was tough to chew and some pieces were downright burnt. The food preparation could've been better executed. The best part of our meal was Claudia's friendly and attentive service. But the quality of the food was not worth the $100+ bill. Overall, our dining experience fell very short of good; there's definitely room for improvement and we would be a little bit more hesitant to pay this Denny's location a return visit.

Cold cheese sticks given to us and I asked for crispy bacon clearly it's not crispy. Taste like we are eating day old food that had been sitting under the warmer. This place is a joke from the food to the service. Eating and drinking while they cash people out. Manager looks lost .... Think it's time to redo this location. The waitress stuck her finger in our food right in front of us. Avoid this place at all cost take the drive and go wells location

This Dennys is one of the Best. The servers especially Maria are amazing. They bring their food out promptly and they check on you to make sure you have everything you need multiple times. They have nice music playing in the background said the ambience is very casual. Never had a problem with this location would highly recommend.

Here is the amazing crew that makes this Reno Dennys so special. Brandy, Manager Gary, Hector, Maria and Romina.

This Reno Dennys is clean and open. Good food, great prices and service with a smile. Today I had hot and creamy potato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. It was outstanding! Thank you to all of the wonderful crew here at Dennys Reno that make it run so smoothly... Brandy, Manager Gary, Hector, Maria and Romina. I had a lovely lunch and I will come back soon. Thank you to everyone here. Julie A

Dennys is a place where you go when it's late at night and the only place open. I'll be honest our experience here was okay. We were very skeptical because it was a Friday night around 3am and it was the only place open. There were so many to go orders, but it seemed like they kept on missing, or having mistakes on them. The person that sat us and took our order seemed like they did not want to be there. Good thing the manager was there to give us our orders and give us great service. Staff here really needs some work. It really is a hit or miss here.

I went to this Denny's for dinner. There was no wait. I was seated right away. I wanted to eat healthy so I ordered the Wild Alaskan Salmon dish. It comes with two sides so I opted for the garden salad and brocoli. When the plate was brought to my table, the plate was small and the portions of salmon and broccoli were even smaller. The menu shows a 55+ option and a regular order option so I asked the server if I was getting the regular portion of food. He responded yes and agreed the portion was very small. Feeling bad for me, he went and got me another side salad and a coffee on the house. With that said, the service was great and the place was looking nice and very clean. On my way out, I noticed big skillets and big plates on people's tables. They all showed big portions of food. Next time, forget about the salmon. I'll be going for the good stuff.

I'm still going down a long list of burger places to compare. Beefy's is my 5th place to try…read more Local spot with character and plenty of seating inside and out with the combo of bar+bus+picnic tables. Lots of fans including mist fan outside to fight the heat. Bus feels spacious but seating is a bit cramped with tiny metal bench seats. Lots of other options other than burgers (hot dogs, chicken, etc) but come on, what's the name of the place? Service was fast, about 15 minutes to get our burgers but the place was near empty on a weekday mid afternoon after the typical lunch period. Insider tip I got: If the place is even 1/3rd full, be prepared for a long wait (minimum half hour?) I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the prices were high. And when I got the bill for $60 for two people with tax and tip I might have agreed, at first, especially if my main repeat burger joints were In-n-out/Wendy's/Jack-n-Box. But comparing to those places is not apples-to-apples. It's 1/3 lbs patties here (70% more than the just below 1/4 lbs of meat you get on a Double Double) and quite a step up in meat quality from those chains. About $16+ for single patty burger and $20+ for double, but that also includes fries and a drink. I get the feeling people complaining about the prices have to be burger addicts with the review perspective of a frequent In-n-Out patron which allows getting your "fix" more frequently on the average budget. I would prefer if I could opt-out of the full meal deal for a lesser price and just get a burger. If you get a beer, the included soft drink is redundant or unnecessary. And some may prefer to focus on the protein without additional carbs/calories from the fries. But granted this isn't a place to be counting calories. Burger is high quality all around and they cooked them actually medium rare as ordered. Many places don't give a cook temp option or still overcook. Fries were great, better than the freezer burnt airy texture of In-n-Out. My only criticism is both the fries and the patty had too much salt but not to an inedible point. A common occurrence though given the cook's and/or typical frequent fast food eater's salt-desensitized palate. So Beefy's ties at #2 with The Parlor sitting between my #1 Royce and #3 Archie's, then #4 Juicy's. Armando & Sons and Barrio Burger are next.

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.

She barely let me speak, she interrupted, wasn't answering my actual question about what kind of toaster they used and what grill the bread is heated on, etc because she wanted to repeat the existence of cross contact. Good lord. I was one second away from walking out. She was a really piece of work. She then upped the "nice" factor to call me sweetie the rest of the meal which makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Honestly, I am very flexible, I think this place may be better than my first impression but this server needs to be retrained to LISTEN to the customer and answer questions and not just make it an effort to drive people out. This is a few minutes of her time, and I have to live my entire life like this without treatment until I die, so a little kindness and active listening is really a minimal effort for a few minutes every now and then. 3 stars is generous. This burrito should have had only cheese, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. It was missing cheese (which, ironically, may have made the completely charred bacon doable). You'd think it'd be even easier to make, not having to cook sausage, too. This bacon was not just burned. It was inedible. Because the restaurant was now closed and we couldn't leave work, I had nothing but a horrible taste in my mouth. It looked so good. I like crispy bacon, the burrito was hot.
