Food was fine came out quick and what we ordered but dang terrible service from our waitress Liz, we started with ordering coffee and before we can ask for iced water she was walking away, zoom. so we waited when she brought the coffee we asked can we have water ? She says iced water? As she's walking away, zoom. So we get our water and food comes a little later and then our coffee runs low so we need coffee and cream. There was an issue at the checkout thing with some people but it's whatever we wait. She finishes and is zooming by, Excuse me? Can we have more coffee? More coffee ok! walking away as quickly as she says it again and so we both try and keep her attention and say and creamer ! Recently went here to pick up an online order and as I was walking in one of the male workers was arguing with his girlfriend outside the restaurant. They continued their argument which was getting shouty and a little physical into the restaurant where the worker went into the bathroom and his girlfriend followed. She was crying and yelling at him which is when he responded with slapping her multiple times as she continued to cry and scream. I called the cops and told management what happened which is when I was told that they "needed" him to work because the were short staffed even after knowing what he'd done. I ordered a modified meal that every other Dennys I have been to has provided. (Grilled chicken breast and not breaded chicken breast.) The server asked the manager and the manager said no. The server came back and let me know. There was nothing else I wanted. I did not order. They lost my business. My kids ate, because she already put their order in. I just paid for their meal. Honestly, I will not come back. Even Canes will do un-breaded chicken. The server was nice, and she seemed uncomfortable with me not ordering anything else. Was sat down and waited a long time ( to long )before anyone ask what to drink and placed order. We got the coffee and asked for sugar, waited over 5 minutes. Went and asked manger for sugar. By that time we had enough and said cancel order.. only drank lass then half cup and the manger still had us pay for the coffee. Beyond uncomfortable my husband and I came to a dinner here around 7pm sept 3/25 Music playing on the Dennys speakers than they turned off the speakers turned on a loud radio on the kitchen Spanish music this lady who talks so extremely loud white long sleeve ( KAYLEE ) I believe the manager shouting singing and walking around talking so loud unable to enjoy a nice quiet dinner my husband is Mexican and even said he knows Spanish and she's using profanity and they are treating a good old fashion Dennys like a club restaurant very unpleasant and unprofessional the look on the few quests here were not happy as well Dennys do better check cameras if any this isn't ok read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a diner restaurant. Didn't check on us a single time after checking every 90 seconds if we were ready to order 5 times, sat on their phone the entire time when we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, just awful. I didn't even finish my pancakes, which is crazy because they're pancakes, are you serious? Watched large groups leave through the front from not being served, waitress said food was ready, let it sit on the counter before bringing it to us for 15 minutes. I have been to this dennys at least 5 times. You may be wondering why I rated it a 2. First of all let me start by saying the servers are very polite and nice and I think their food isn't the craziest food ever but it is made as advertised and tastes decent. However, sometimes this specific location will make you wait a very long time. Usually I'm fine with waiting because it would only be like 20 minutes to get my food. This time however I sat down and idk if it was a busy day or something or what but it took like 15 minutes for them to take my order. After that I ordered and it was 40 minutes before my food came and I still don't know where it was so I had enough of wasting my time and dignity to wait at this dennys. I'm not the busiest student and 40 minutes isn't going to ruin my day but I could have spent 40 minutes doing something else you know. Now I don't know if they forgot my order or gave it to someone else or something but after 40 minutes passed I left a 20 on the table because I'm not enough of an asshole not to pay and I headed out of there. Honestly it was just a big waste of time and that's why this is a 2/5 and the only reason it's not a 1 is because the staff were nice. read more

This is the hometown spot that is walking distance to UCR. The management has recently changed and the energy is so much better! Ask for Daniel to be your server. The food is fast. We arrived early in the morning and we were not waited on by the waitress until we had to call her to our table. She then rudely replied "yes I'll be right there". I'd like to start off by saying that I am a regular guest, I have been going to this location since before new management took over and started implementing student discounts. I had a reward on the Denny's app; an everyday value slam. I went in for a quick bite. First and foremost, the Biscuit and Gravy was disgusting and the eggs were hard/rubbery. But the reason why I am leaving a bad review is because I ordered a carbonated water with a lemon. Like I said, I've been going to this denny's pretty consistenlty and I was never charged for water before. The server, Consuelo G, informs me that it should be rung up as soda, she over rung me. I told her I've never been charged for water before and that on my receipt its coming up as a "Coca-Cola Freestyle". I paid it and informed her that I will file a corporate complaint. Regardless of corporates response, I will not be going back to this location and I will be boycotting Denny's from now on.... it was my first time using the app and I was advised by a manager to download the app because I frequented Denny's. A water with lemon isn't a "Coca-Cola Freestyle". Consuelo G simply over-rung me because she wasn't ok with a regular custiomer getting a reward from the app. read more
