The food was okay, your usual Dennys food. I went in twice yesterday, once for lunch and once for dinner. It gets busy depending on the time you go and the experience definitely changes depending on who your server is. For lunch, my server, Yahaira was very patient, attentive and friendly to my group. She got all the orders correct despite our table being a bit chaotic and our food was brought out in a timely manner. For dinner, our table had 2 servers, Chris and Sheila. Chris had an attitude when taking our orders so we felt a bit uncomfortable. When he brought out our food, he kept bringing us the wrong items and when we brought it up with him he was being rude about it. Sheila noticed and came to help us. She was able to get our order correct and came in to check on us multiple times. She didn't seem to mind and had a great attitude, definitely did a way better job than Chris! Next time I go I will definitely ask for either Yahaira or Sheila! read more

Our waiter forgot about us. We were waiting there for almost an hour to get our food. We got our drinks right away but 30 minutes passed and no food, no check up , no refills . I noticed the people behind us get their food first even though they came 10 minutes after us . I started to look around and noticed that our waiter looked at my table and made a " oh shit" face . She started to count up to my table and went to through notebook and started to input into the system . I'm assuming she didn't put our order in because she did look nervous. After waiting for another 20 minutes we left because she never apologized or came to our tables to see if she needed anything . We went to the front to pay and they still asked if we were going to remove a food item even though we didn't get anything. read more

ZERO STARS (-1 star) Stomach flu hit me on Saturday, I went in by myself on Thursday. I believe the free breakfast got me sick because my family did not get sick. I went in alone to get my free birthday meal, I was the only one in my family that got sick so I cannot say it was something we all ate. & the only thing I ate separately to my family is the free breakfast meal. Nobody else got sick so it is likely that it was from the food I ate here since the dates add up I went in on Thursday, the stomach flu will not give symptoms on the first day, & on the next boom! I've been coming to this Denny's for about a decade, from when I was a student at UCR up until now! They never failed to give a great meal when I needed them the most, especially those late college nights where nothing else was open. Our server, Sabbdu, was especially attentive of us and gave great and exceptional customer service. I had to be really early to a gig around the area that morning, and being a fan of good breakfast and really open early and late places, i decided to go to Denny's. What really got my attention was that they had those mobile kiosks for each table, and I had thoroughly enjoyed myself with the games while i was waiting for my food and after eating. Im happy to see these establishments modernize and get more into tech. I think the machine was charging a small amount to use the entertainment, but when I just read through and continued on to the games, it let me play for free. I wasnt sure if it was a glitch or something with the machine, or maybe it is an ad for wanting the same game on the phone. Nonetheless, the service and food was enjoyable. I had one of their new skillets (maybe limited time) that isnt on the website yet, and it was delicious. I also had their Hot Chocolate - which by the way has free refills(not mentioned on the menu). My server was very good with keeping my Hot Chocolate filled and even gave me a full to-go cup before i left. I dont normally go out or be awake at 3am, but I knew i could count on a Denny's to satisfy my hot chocolate and my unusual hot food cravings. read more

My boyfriend decided to order pickup through DoorDash here and I only had an hour until I needed to get ready for work today, the order said it was going to take almost an hour to get ready he called about 40 mins in and it was ready, I ordered one of the special menu items from beetlejuice the say it 3 times there was supposed to be 3 eggs sausages and mini pancakes. I got one container of mini pancakes one container of only TWO sausages, and no eggs anywhere to be found. I called and the lady said to come back and bring the receipt in, but I didn't even notice I was missing a sausage until after the call. I wasn't dressed to go out I just wanted to eat before work and not have to get ready for anything and he didn't want to go back inside and get my missing food and just left. So my whole morning was ruined and I ended up having to eat some of his food. Also the food was room temperature! I'm not interested in ever coming back to this location. Food is expensive right now and it is a luxury to eat out so it should be perfect. What a waste nothing was even seasoned tasted plain as hell. The food was good however the biscuits and gravy were so-so . The biscuit was very chewy. The Customer service was poor, very inattentive, didn't bring extra napkins, no coffee refill, no recommendations, they had us feeling like an uninvited guest. They weren't the normal A team this was definitely a different crew, they sent out the B team. The music selection was irritating and loud with explicit lyrics and children present. Best time to go is after 10am that's when the A-Team is on job! This was my go to spot specifically because of the customer service. They should place a sign showing what team is serving for the day. read more

I've come here twice to redeem coupons that were sent to me via email from the Denny's Rewards Program and I always have issues. The first time I tried to use a coupon, the QR code didn't go through. However, the man who helped me at the register reluctantly acknowledged it. The second time was a birthday coupon and I even showed the waitress the coupon before I ordered and told her I wanted what was listed there to redeem it. She gave me something else and I didn't realize it. Then the same man who helped me at the register the time before said the coupon didn't apply and I ordered wrong. I told him that I had shown the waitress my coupon and tried to order what was listed and he refused to acknowledge it. Worst birthday reward. read more

Gissel was an excellent server especially under the circumstances of restaurant being extremely hot having to work under those conditions is cruel and inhumane but she smiled through it.
