I really don't know why I keep coming to this Denny's. Utensils and coffee cups are always dirty. They make you wait 30 minutes when there's no one inside all the tables empty and only have like one cook. Probably won't go back anymore. read more

We had a bit of a wait to get in, but they were very busy for the Saturday lunch rush. Our waiter, Jose, was extremely polite and attentive. He checked on our table frequently but did not hover. Coffee is surprisingly delicious. Had the Heartland Scramble. Waiter could have done a better job on checking up on me. But overall it was OK. They ended up charging me twice on my credit card. I recently made a order through Uber Eats, the first order went completely wrong so I cancelled, then reordered the same order, only to find out that Denny's had canceled the second order because they THOUGHT that it was canceled when clearly I made TWO SEPARATE ORDERS! I usually come to this location and there's never a problem with the service. They are usually fast and accurate. Today was my first time out of luck with the srvice. The server took 10min to get me the menu. I immediately order an OJ SOOL the juice tasted like water I had to order another one still taste like water. Oh well fuck it I just wanted my omelette and get out of there. Then once I got my food she didn't even asked if I wanted something else, every time I come here the server asks (BTW I wanted hot sauce). After I had my food she disappeared and never see her again. Oh wait, yes I saw her walking out the restaurant her shift ended. I guess she just wanted to go home that's why the shitty service. I was there between 5-530am. This lady needs to be more attentive. So after we attended a friend's Beerfest, instead of heading on to another bar we needed to absorb the beer, jell-o shots & liquor that was brewing inside of us. I haven't been here in years and yet is not too far from home. We optioned for breakfast and the service was excellent.We ordered the French toast and it was not that bad. Denny's is A-OK in my book because I go there often during my drunken state of mind with my BFF Cc. I usually have the salad cause I'm always trying to watch my weight, hahaha but when I'm trashed I get tricked into eating badly :( boo for my BFF Cc for not stopping me, lol. I came here drunk one ;late night with friends and i must admit their bacon and eggs were on point compared to other dennys i been to. and im not saying that because i was drunk, it was actually pretty good. Cripsy but not over friend bacon, and soft fluffy scrambed eggs, just the way i like it. Their drinks never have too much ice in them and the employees are always more than happy to help you. I also enjoyed their bathroom, it was clean for the most part. I'll be back again when i decide to go to Downtown San Jose to intoxicate myself with Hennessy or Ciroc. read more

My worst service experience ever, happened at this location. Came around 9:00pm on a Saturday, after ice skating at the Logitech center down the road. We were cold and wet and wanted to warm up with some hot coffee and hot chocolate. Even though there were only 2 other groups of diner's in the restaurant, it took almost 10 minutes for anyone to seat us. That should have been our first clue to bail! Once our server finally took our order, after socializing with the table next to ours for about 5 minutes (we could hear the entire exchange), he brought our drinks to us right away. However, one of the snacks we ordered took another 15 minutes to be brought out, and the second snack we ordered never came. Our server didn't check back with us about the 2nd dish. Nor, did he or anyone else ever re-fill our drinks for the whole hour we waited I have never walked out of a place for poor service, and certainly not without paying. I would have at least paid for the drinks, but I couldn't even find anyone to process the transaction. We finally left in total discussed, leaving only a dollar on the table. read more

All Denny's kind of suck. The good thing about it is that it's 24 hours and that they serve breakfast all day. I ordered the ultimate skillet which has country potatoes with roma tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, 2 eggs, and sausage bits. Hahaha I didn't know it came with sausage so oppsie daisy I just picked it out and gave it to my friend. Have you ever had Denny's Radagast's red velvet pancake or even Smaug's fire Burger? No? Then what are you waiting for? You should definitely head down to Denny's to try these amazing dishes out. They are full of wonder, flavour and taste. Yes, I know it's Denny's we are talking about, but I wanna be fair; the new additions to the menu are really good. It simply explodes in your mouth. I ordered this through Postmates and it was the worst mistake ever. Postmates wasn't the issue at all- it was how my food. I ordered a grand slamwhich or whatever and it was not fully cooked- wanted to throw up after. I ordered hash browns along with it and there was barely any. My coffee tasted watered down as well. Extremely upset since I waited almost an hour, which I think would be enough time for food to be cooked. read more

Local Denny's that is always open when hunger calls at 2am. Typical greasy food that hits the spot. This location tends to be crowded when I stop by but the employees are consistently pleasant. The overall status of the place is a bit run down. I'm referring to the literal hole in the wall in the booth that looks like it was made by a fist and untidy restrooms. I think this was the best Denny's I've been to thus far. Since it's so close to San Jose State, It's a good place to cut out for a quick cheap breakfast or lunch. The server we had was really nice and tentative. The food came really fast and for once the service seemed good. The breakfast was decent, quite filling and tasty.. and for a party of 3 - we got to split up the bill at the register by item and each of us got to pay separately. It was fast, simple, and good. Manager has to pay more attention at the night time shift, our service was awful & food was super cold, there's a particular server (short Caucasian chubby girl with glasses) that was very rude & took more than 30 min to even take our order & clearly it wasnt that she was too busy with other customers, she would go in the kitchen & talk to her co workers, I know its late but if you don't feel like working go find another job or simply stay home & save us paying customers a bad experience. I was watching her serve the other tables around me & she was no better! On one table she forgot to put in someone's food at another table it seemed like she was deliberately ignoring them! Just horrible. This is probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Arrived to see no host attending the long waiting line. Waited 25 minutes, still no host so we asked a server for the manager. Manager refused to come out until 10 minutes later. Many customers left and their shortage of staff made the wait way longer than it should have. Manager was no help either. Never returning to this place again. read more
