Brian H. I love this Denny's; it is one of the few restaurants that can accommodate my early morning breakfast needs. The service is great, Diana has such positive energy that you can't help but feed off of it. What stood out on this particular day was the fact that the cook was running late, and both my server (Diana) and the manager (Denise) took the time to prepare my breakfast themselves and as it turns out this happened to be one of the better breakfasts I have ever been served. Overall rating is 3.5. We've been to this Denny's several times. It's close to highway 15 right off the Rancho California exit. Open 24-hours a day and is near the Old Town of Temecula. I always order the T-Bone steak with shrimp and the kids love their chicken strips with fries. The food here is fairly decent and affordable. Each time we visit, the staff and servers are very friendly. This Denny's has been around for many years and may require a little tender love and care. read more

Due to a new medical condition our Thanksgiving was different this year. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner on line and picked it up to go. Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner was very delicious. Very disappointed. I came in today for breakfast with my son who is battling cancer and we sat at the bar and I watched Christina. Touch bananas with her hands and didn't wash her hands 3 times. I politely asked if I could speak to her and told her my concerns that a lot of people are immune compromised and she really needs to wash her hands before she touches the soda machine, the coolers dishes, and then touch his food she persisted to argue with me and told me she didn't do it. I was impressed with my 55+ dinner. Salmon with veggies, red skinned potatoes, and garlic bread. Everything was great! And just the perfect amount of food. Plus, the price was very reasonable. Called first about the Beyond Burger promotion - Manager named Abdi Nasehi said they had Beyond Burgers and would honor the promotion, did not give any warning they were running out. Drove to this location and told they just ran out. Manager would not honor anything else or any substitutions. Disrespectful by not taking any accountability. Huge waste of time, gas, and left terribly disappointed. Worst customer service I've seen for the Hospitality Industry, just Rude and uncaring. Quite a few years ago, I lived in Temecula. Back when there were only a few places for breakfast, open 24 hours. My favorite then was DENNY'S on Rancho California Road. This past weekend, during a visit to Temecula, I stopped by DENNY'S for breakfast. I'm happy to report that nothing's changed. The food was excellent, prepared exactly how I asked, and the service couldn't have been better. As I said, at DENNY'S, nothing has changed, my experience was right on the mark. What's changed is the city of Temecula. It's no longer the sleepy little town off the I-15 freeway. Temecula is a full blown city with dozens of restaurants serving breakfast. Many, many choices, almost too many. It's easy for me, my choice...I'm sticking with DENNY'S on Rancho California Road. Great food, a very clean environment and a very fine staff eager to provide you with a positive dining experience. read more

Ordered for a family of 3, last time we came tthe service was excellent (EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER), came back today, again EXCELLENT SERVICE. By far one of the best Denny's I've been too. We got seated quickly both times. Got out drinks immediately as well. Orders taken fast too. They are quick with delivering the food to the table. Needed to say something about this place. Typical of a Denny's. Most of our experience was pleasant. The waitress we did have was wonderful. The three stars remove was purely for the incident after our meal. Things went south after we paid our bill at the cashier. The cashier (a man) scolded us for not leaving a tip. He should be ashamed of himself. Leaving a tip is not compulsory. If we were unhappy with the food or service, do we still have to leave a tip? We explained that we left a cash tip on the table. He told us to stay where we were and ran to the table to verify the tip was there. When he saw it, he said 'ok'. If he is the manager that's not the way to treat your patrons. He shouldn't be dealing with customers. He needs to be removed. We hope the waitress got the full tip, she deserved it. read more

Great service, today I went in for some chocolate chip pancakes with my friends and I enjoyed the food and the service. Typically Dennys serves pretty decent food. After showing up for breakfast for dinner our waiter first screwed up our orders serving the two eggs over easy as we ordered to sunny side up, eggs were NOT cooked at all including egg white portion. Sent those back and my order had fruit instead of hash browns. Waiter spoke to cook, cook got agitated because the many mistakes that were made. Cook laid hands on his manager threatening to punch him. He was pushing the manager and yelling scarred us to death so there we sat unable to finish dinner, asked for boxes and left abruptly to avoid what would happen next when police were called. Police arrived as we were leaving. Not sure what was going to happen. All I can say is the cook didn't receive criticism very well and over reacted. Dinner was ruined. read more

We went here for breakfast. It took a while to get seated. Once we were seated it took about 15 minutes to just get our drinks, and another 25 to place our orders. We then waited for a good 20-25 mins for our food. So if you're looking for a quick place to eat this isn't for you. I ordered the triple berry double pancake breakfast, it came with two pancakes with blueberries, strawberries and bananas, two pieces of bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs. My food was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend the pancakes. My husband got the country fried steak combo. His came with two eggs hash browns and country fried steak with gravy. He also got a side of toast and their blueberry pancake puppies. He also enjoyed his food. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is because of how long our wait was for everything. read more
