6/30/2020- I had Sarah as a server today. She was very attentive, friendly, and made me feel appreciated. She is one of my fav and gives great customer service. Four stars because while they have pretty good food here, you can get the same or very similar meals at IHOP for half the price since IHOP offers happy hour from 2-10pm. On a different topic, the parking lot here seems a little sketch. The vibe is just weird. read more

First I have to say... even though it was Christmas Day... traffic was high but the service went by quick! The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Especially ours in particular (too bad I didn't get her name) The food was great. Nothing fancy or special since it's breakfast we can make at home but it was cooked well and my family enjoyed it. The only nice lady there was Linda. She was nice and patient with my coworkers and I placing our orders. Another younger lady passed by and I asked and said excuse me can I have another water, she looked right at me and just went past me without acknowledging me. I know we weren't her table but at least A ok ma'am I'll let your server know. The very new manager, Courtney was very rude when we attempted to make a phone pick order. She could have simply explained further the reason why, I have placed many phone pick up orders in the past. I came into the location where she was laughing at me and then refused service. The whole exchange was unnecessary and truly speaks volumes about how terrible the management at this location is. Very disappointed by this unprofessional behavior and will not be returning. read more

My family and I dine at this dennys at least twice a week. The food is amazing as usual. everytime we come here we feel like we are visiting with family. Our servers are always amazing. Sunday we had Julia. And she is the sweetest and she always takes great care of us. I love seeing The managers Eric and Courtney helping the staff, they dont mind getting down and dirty! This has got to be the worst denny's of all California!! Not only did we have to wait forever to be seated, we waited an additional 20 minutes before we could get acknowledged and finally asked what we wanted to frank only yo have to wait another 20 minutes for our drinks including our coffee..after another 15 we were able to put in our order and while waiting forever again, I had to walk up to the waitress station to ask for a coffee refill!!! Or food came in partials, first our pancakes then ,then,then then nothing!! We waited an additional 20.min for rest of our food that never came!!! I had asked the the waitress where the rest of our food was and they tell us that the cooks missed that part of the order!! We canceled our order and paid for our unpleasant meal(pancakes).. never never again will we return to this establishment..unbelievable!! Where is the. Corporate managers!!! My husband and I had a great breakfast experience at Denny's this morning. We do enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast out, but today was extra special and it was all due to our waitress Lorie. From the time she greeted as we walked in the restaurant to the time we left, Lorie was wonderful. She's friendly and welcoming, extremely attentive, and everything you'd hope for when going out for a meal. What a great way to start our day... a waitress with a happy and positive attitude, good food for a great value, and a clean restaurant. My friend and I usually stop here on our way back from Sonora trips as a treat! The last two times have not been so great, slow service, missing items had to ask for once we got her attention, no coming back to check and see if there was anything we needed, like a coffee refill! Visited August 31, 2024, the food was excellent. (home cooked meal.) pick chicken fried steak from there over 55 menu, absolutely delicious. Waitress was excellent service, very friendly. On Monday 10/7/24 my mom and I went to Denny's to have breakfast. We waited about 1/2 hour to place our order it took at least 20 minutes after ordering our meal to get only my order. The waitress said they made a mistake on my mom's order so she brought my food to me so it wouldn't get cold . 20 minutes later after I ate my whole meal after alerting them our waitress was in the back of the kitchen cooking. My mom said forget it I'm never coming back here again!!! Note she is 88 years old the experience was horrible the food I ate was horrible we used to be regulars and never ever will we be back!!! We asked to pay our bill and the manager said she would comp my mom's tea after this horrible experience. If you live in Tracy go to black bear , or town and country you will definitely get better food and service. It's really sad we used to come in at least one a week but now never again!!! read more

A great place for dinner if your next door at the Star casino. I had the pot roast sandwich, friend had the zizzling platter, other friend had something I can't remember but was totally envious of our choices. That's how it sometimes works when ordering food at a sit down restaurant. First this zizzling (I can spell it any way I choose) platter crazy loud and crackling straight from the stove top. Incredible presentation with a pot holder on the pan handle for the server to place in front of you. Tired of cold food that sits under heat lamps for hours? Try one of these. Then my pot roast sandwich - fall apart in your mouth tender. Teeth are not a prerequisites for ordering this. Deliciously butter toasted bread with some very good fries on the side. The one friend good at many things - choosing meals at diners not one of them. He is the type to regularly buy lotto tickets. Bless his heart. He was so preoccupied with all the meals he didn't order he admitted the next day that he went there alone on some sort of "masterdate" to try the pot roast. Stopped into Denny's in Tracy on a trip from Bay Area. I was very impressed with the staff so friendly and energetic. Definitely made our visit more pleasant. It was such a noticeable difference from other establishments. We had such a welcoming experience here. Our hostess Nicole was a whirlwind working doing multiple tasks and being helpful, polite and friendly to everyone. Just happened to be watching while waiting for our table. So far off all my Denny's experiences all over California, this location is one of the better ones. I love their Brooklyn Spaghetti w/ Meatballs, their Sirloin Steaks, and their Everyday Value Slam for $4 - 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of 2 bacons or 2 Sausage links! Service is good and their food is cooked fresh. Not only that, their price (compared to other Denny's) is a little better. For example, my Brooklyn Spaghetti is about $12 here, while at other locations about $13 and up. read more

Normally I don't yelp big chain restaurants but this Denny's has top of the line service. It's been a while since I've been out to a restaurant to eat and this was a wonderful experience. Amanda our server was so friendly and actually funny. Can I take her home with me for when I'm feeling down? Had a good time having her service for our short meal here. The cinnamon pancakes were crispy on the outside and soft ooey gooey on the inside. The wings were phenomenal. But the service Amanda gave is truly top notch.
