Why have I been sleeping on Denny's? It's probably been 10+ years since I last stepped inside a Denny's, but this company has experienced a glow up! I was craving "breakfast for dinner" but didn't feel like cooking, so we drove on over. The inside of the restaurant has been tastefully re-decorated and felt cozy, while still being clean. I ordered the veggie omelette, and swapped the Swiss for cheddar. I was surprised to see that it was chock full of freshly grilled vegetables, including spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, and caramelized onions. It was truly one of the better omelettes I've had at any restaurants, in a long time. It came with hash browns and toast, which you can swap for pancakes at no extra charge. I added chocolate chips for a nominal fee. The portions were large and I was unable to finish my meal, there was plenty to share. My dining partner took a chance on the spaghetti and meatballs, at the recommendation of our server. Apparently, the meatballs were inedible and the pasta/sauce was fine. I'm not surprised, next time she won't order spaghetti at the breakfast diner- but just a heads up for anyone else who is curious. Minus one star for the bad pasta dish. The service was quick and friendly, and I'll certainly be back for another "breakfast for dinner" meal

This particular Denny's had a great Cob salad and tasty avocado burger. Service was good too. I'll be going back to this Denny's.

This remains 5 stars for me! Great service, and we loved our tapas from pulpo, to salmon, mussels and frites, to paella and sangrias! We were served quickly and without a hitch! We were the only ones in the restaurant on a hot Sunday afternoon in Tucson! My only small complaint was the fact that it was a tab bit warm - the temp. was set at 82 eek. Here is what my son ordered: - Paella Del Mar (Seafood) We got the $28 which is good for 2 people. $98 is available for a larger group. I was so happy to find a paella where the yellow rice is fluffy versus one that is baked and burnt. My son pretty much ate it all himself. One of the staff members patted him on the back and said...hearty appetite you got there. Lol. - Galician Octopus (my son loved this dish) - Basque Sausage Stew with mixed greens, onions, tomatoes and large white beans that comes with a side of rice. I was all about that rice, I could just eat this and be happy. To end the meal we could not say no to their Old World Style "Burnt" Cheesecake. So yummy. Service was 100/10!! Staff goes above and beyond. Gosh, I know I keep saying this but people in Tucson are just so darn friendly. 10% discount for UofA students (must show I.D.). Parking structure across the street is your best bet if you are in downtown Tucson.

Its Boxyard name comes from the various shipping containers that make up most of the buildings inside. It reminded me of Container Park in Las Vegas and similar places in Downtown Austin. I'm very excited that Tucson has a place like this now too!! We were there on a Saturday night, so it was very crowded with a DJ playing in the back, yet it was still open and spacious enough to have plenty of breathing room. I also loved how there's more than one bar for grabbing drinks at and a few food options - we got a couple of smash burgers from Daddyburger inside and they were GREAT!! Took a little while to be ready but it was a busy Saturday night, so understandable. Definitely make sure to add the arugula and pickles to it - loved the extra textures and crunch. The burger hit the spot and the fries were solid McDonald's type fries. Other food options inside included a Mexican food/burrito spot with several vegan options and also a sandwiches/snacks thing! We ended up just eating, drinking, and dancing to the music the whole night there. It was a blast!! It also looked like a great spot for just hanging out or getting some food whenever during the day or the week. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!

Even during the busy lunch rush with what seemed like half the downtown office crowd grabbing lunch, the staff was incredibly attentive and everything moved surprisingly fast.
