Came in late last night and grabbed their country fried steak while my buddy with me grabbed a T-bone steak. I was very satisfied with the country fried but man did that T-bone look good. So this was my first time here and, although, the service wasn't the best it definitely wasn't the worst either. The food was pretty yummy and the inside was just your typical dinner looking place except that it was kindda warm feeling hot at times but they did keep it clean though. There are 2 Denny's equal distance from my house. This one usually win's our business because it's not as busy & the wait times are generally less on the weekends. I have been going to this particular Denny's for 5-6 years now and refuse to go any other Denny's unless I'm out of town. I walked in and waited for 10 mins for anyone to even look at me, the restaurant was empty, it's 2:45 pm in the afternoon on Wednesday. The bus girl said " hi do u want something" in a thick accent. I've been customer of them for a year, I appreciate their hard work to maintain this place neat and clean during covid; but they should be more considerate with people who have a strict diet. I ordered "build your own slam" and requested for scrambled egg, red skin potatoes, and a side of vegetables because my stomach doesn't tolerate bacon, sausage, and pancake, but I was told that vegetables can not be included because "they are not allowed" to mix veggies with breakfast items even if they have vegetables available. Other locations are more lenient, you can always choose broccoli or mushrooms. I hope Denny's can fix their menu soon. Female servers are nicer, the older guy with glasses too., more accommodating. read more

I've frequented this Denny's for quite some time now. As of lately i've found myself stumbling to it with friends after hours of drinking........once that feeling of Hunger starts kicking in. Anyway, we end up here. Props to the waiter/waitresses for having the ability to make sense of our slurs. They probably take a course in slurring. I always get the Boca Burger cuz i'm pescetarian and refuse to eat mammals! And it's good, the seasoned fries are BOOOOOOOMMMMMB. Just this past week we happened to go to it during a sober night and the food still lived up to my expectations. So I've been coming here for about 4 years now and I have to say that this was by far my best experience. My GF and I came to get a quick yet satisfying breakfast. my server Tam was definitely the perfect server to execute what I would consider a spot on performance. Tam was witty, kind and very helpful and informative. Not to mention quite comical ...but not over the top, he was tasteful with his joking and spent just the right amount of time touching the table. He didn't forget anything from our order and if we had a request for a side dish or refill he was back to the table swiftly and promptly. Tam was absolutely on point and deserves a raise. If not he should come work where I work(not gonna say where but servers make around $150 to $250 tips after a 2 hour lunch shift). Needless to say Denny's on El Camino should give Tam a raise before you lose him to a high caliber restaurant...I'm not sure if you know how outstanding this server is but now you know....always request TAM! he wins my personal favorite award at this particular Denny's read more

So I went there last week server was nice and attentive.The problem was when I tried to check out I had a 20% off coupon that I received throught email.To me its faster to take a screen shot cause who hows if my phone will be goofing off when I need to see open my emails anyways,I showed the coupon to the waitress she said I need to ask my manager.
