Dental 2000 provided me great care and service with my teeth. I recently came in for a cleaning, and I had not had my teeth cleaned in awhile. The staff here were able to provide a deep cleaning and whitened my teeth to a level I had not had in at least ten years. Also, I had previously had braces and retainers, and unfortunately I had a cavity that started at the base of the backside of one of my front teeth where a previous dentist had not removed the glue from an area. Nimesh was able to diagnose the problem, and while I needed a crown, he was able to quickly fit me in his schedule to put in a temporary replacement, and then later the long term crown. The crown looks exactly like my other teeth, performs well with apples, and harder foods to eat. It's also perfectly placed around my gum line and easy to clean. My teeth are so much better now, and very grateful to Nimesh and his whole team for their excellent service. Everyone was kind, professional, and made me feel like a first class customer. The office was also professionally designed, very clean, and the cost of service was reasonable for the Irvine area. I would definitely recommend Nimesh and his team at Dental 2000. read more

Dr. Patel and his staff in Irvine should be avoided. I was a patient and had 5 implants done in Irvine in September 2024. They all have failed or were so poorly placed that they are not usable for crowns. Dr Patel destroyed the bone in the front lower jaw area to where the implant had no chance of taking but yet he stuck it in anyway and jammed the area with bone graft hoping that it would somehow recover. I was in horrible pain for weeks afterward and he lied to me and told me the surgery to place the implant went great! I had to go see another oral surgeon to get a second opinion of why I was in such pain and he showed me how Patel had broke the bone and drilled out the backside of the bone . he told me to demand a refund and have Patel remove all of my implants as they were all unusable. I went to Patel and told him what the other oral surgeon told me and so he admitted that it was a mess and he had lied to me and he removed this one very loose implant but refused to remove the others as it required another oral surgery and he would not do it for free He offered a full refund but has never sent the check and now the office will not return my calls? I have had terrible pain and suffering and all of this was for not. The other oral surgeon told me that all 5 implants should never have been attempted. Mira, and Vineeta (The sales staff) in Irvine also misled me and when I asked them why I was in so much pain told me that this was normal and that the surgery went great (lies). read more

I've never had such a thorough teeth cleaning before! I was actually in for an implant, and at every visit Dr Patel does a complimentary teeth cleaning and polish because he notices my calculus build up. And I must say, my teeth have never looked more shiny and white, even after a deep cleaning! I just wished I lived closer so that he could be my regular dentist. I booked an appt. and informed them that I had a coupon for an implant, Abutment and crown, and that I had already had the tooth extracted and bone graft placed. For their cosmetic treatments Do Not Go. First of all, they are not easy to find and don't make it easy to find. They're not updated on their Google address and they're hidden away in a building of offices that looks like a parking structure in an alleyway with no indication whatsoever of where they are. I called them and although they were nice their instructions were horrible. I went in for a PRF under eye treatment and the doctor couldn't explain a simple question and kept trying to get me to watch a video about PRF - I explained I know what it is and that's why I'm here but he kept repeating the same script to me and it felt very weird. He also stated that PRF requires monthly treatments - no other injector/expert ever said this they've all said it requires 3 sessions a year -. He then proceeded to point out issues on my face that were non existent/false to upsell I guess even though I was only there for undereye. The location and equipment looked very old and outdated. I really do not recommend this place. I walked out not doing my treatment because of the bad feeling I had and also one of the injectors who I never spoke to and was not in the room at all came into the room later to tell me to not do it because she felt like I had high expectations and PRF won't show any results. Mind you, I never once stated my expectations and frankly my expectations were low. All I wanted to know was the difference between micro needling PRF and just injecting PRF Under the eye and they could not answer. I asked for a refund and they said they don't know how to refund a Groupon because they redeemed it. I now have to figure it out myself and hope they follow through with a refund. I was returning for a second implant, as it was reasonably priced and his work was adequate. After speaking to the same front desk employee, they assured me that the dentist would love to honor same (might be a couple hundred more)cost as the original implant that was completed a year prior. I went in and had x-rays, met with Dr. Patel. Then I met with the most unprofessional new office staff who was insulting and placated the whole dialogue. She insisted that we don't really "pay for insurance, its free money". The cost of the implant, that was relayed to me, was OVER double what the original cost. Update to previous yelp rating .time to expose the implant on 3 17 2015 put in temporary cap on 3 20 cap fell off while brushing teeth exposing implant wait till next appointment to have permanent tooth put in while putting tooth in in middle of installing it was handed paper work about color and shape and stating if anything was wrong I would be financially responsible for further work to fix problems refused to sign as work was still in progress . The permanent tooth was 1/4 inch shorter than 2 a joining teeth. The cap had to be removed and I had to come back to redo permanent tooth. My name is Roman Basin. I have been a customer of Dental 2000, in Irvine, since 2015. I have been going there for regular teeth maintenance (cleaning/ check ups) twice a year, as well as getting 7 teeth implants done (4 implants in 2015, 2 implants in 2017, and 1 implant in 2019). Dr. Patel did a good job in 2015, and the price was reasonable when compared to the industry pricing in our area. That's why I returned in 2017. This time it did not go as well. After the implants were finished in 2017, I developed an awful infection and Dr. Patel had to completely redo the implants. I reluctantly returned in 2019 for 1 more implant to complete all the work. At this point in 2019, Dental 2000 hired a Treatment Coordinator, named Mari L. The title on her card does not match her job description. Mari L does not coordinate anything. She is worse than a Used Car Salesperson. I spent more time with her, than Dr. Patel. She created a price chart with unbelievably high price rates and tacked on unnecessary procedures, that were priced at least twice higher than anyone would normally charge. I then asked to talk to Dr. Patel directly, after my unfortunate encounter with Mari, and he was very reasonable and reduced the price to one that was customary and fair. I did not have any medical issues with my last implant in 2019. That's why when my adult daughter needed an implant, I referred her to Dental 2000 and Dr. Patel. At the same time, we found a Groupon Deal for Dental 2000 for 1 implant with abutment and crown for $1,499 (regular price $3,499). I called the dental office and inquired about the Groupon deal that they advertised. I was told not to purchase the deal on Groupon before having my daughter come in for an office consultation Secondly, I was told that the office prefers not to share the profits with Groupon, and they would honor the Groupon price of $1,499 for all listed services, just have her come in. My daughter went to her scheduled appointment/consultation. She waited almost an hour to be seen. She spent about 5-7 minutes with Doctor himself, and then the heavy selling started. It was the same "Treatment Coordinator", Mari L., that I had a bad experience with in 2019. She did not want to hear about the Groupon Deal. She proceeded to hard-sell/ quote a price of $3,600 plus added another line item, a"Sinus Lift" for $1,500 (the price for this procedure in our area is typically $800-$850). I called 3 offices in our area, as well as did an internet search, to verify pricing. When I saw the written proposal from Mari L., I called the office twice and both times spoke with Mari L. She was unpleasant, rude, and short with me. She refused to answer any questions directly. She was worse than any politician and/or used car salesperson. Both times I asked for Dr. Patel to call me back, and also asked to talk to the Office Manager. Mari L. refused even to provide me with the name of the Office Manager. I was told by Mari L. that Dr. Patel and/or the Office Manager will call me back, but nobody ever did. After waiting for 2 weeks, I decided to write this review. How does Dental 2000 expect people to come to their office, and rely on other customer referrals, when they are represented by a pushy salesperson, rather than a good, quality dentist? The salesperson's agenda was only to price gouge the customer and cheat another business, in this case, Groupon, rather than build a respected business. Coordinators like Mari L. should not be allowed to work in Dental offices, or any other industry that requires working with clients, because she exhibited anything but the qualities of being a professional, or an honest person. I put the blame on Dr. Patel, who employs such an individual that is clearly not in the dentistry business anymore but rather focuses on the big money cheating business. After much soul searching I finally came across Dr Patel, and let me tell you we are extremely happy and thankful. The process has been phenomenal, the front office staff is very sweet and helpful, Tara the office manager, Kathy who helped with our financing and Maritza who always made sure we had our prescriptions or anything else we needed, and Dr Chandni who is always smiling and asking my mom "let me know if you need anything" it was very comforting to know my mom was in good hands. We came in today for our finally appointment and its official she's having corn on the cob and steak tonight !
