I'm not vegan but I definitely can get with these donuts. They are not like the other vegan kind floating around coffee shops in Long Beach (although I've found that Wood Coffee on 10th does carry Devi's). A Devi donut is on the airy side, not cake-like or dense. They come in a good variety of toppings. As far as filled donuts, I had two flavors and enjoyed them. The creme brulee was caramelized so had a crispy top. The lemon had a custard that was not too tart. They offer a decent cinnamon roll too. Come get them at the farmers market or their very small storefront but not on Mondays when they're closed. read more

I tried this place after seeing a YouTube video that sweet simple vegan did that featured their donuts in part of it. The donuts looked so delicious in the video that I had to try them for myself. I ended up ordering through DoorDash and had an epic experience. I got six donuts: strawberry, blackberry/raspberry, lemon meringue, Oreo crumb, cookies and cream, and blueberry banana filled. They were all 10/10 and delicious! The texture was fluffy and light on the inside and on point. Totally blew away my high expectations. They have other flavors too, so I definitely will either go there or order again to try more of the flavors. These donuts also stayed fresh for two days after I ordered them, thankfully. It was nice to be able to savor these donuts that were clearly made with love. The best vegan donuts in the area that I have tried so far! read more

I just can't even with these doughnuts! There were four doughnuts in this box just moments ago! The lemon filling was so perfect and didn't have that weird wobbly feel that lemon filling sometimes has! It was balanced toward the sweet side but was just tart enough to remind you that lemons are tart. The richness of the chocolate on the Boston Cream was so impressive, I loved the bitterness that cute through the perfect cream wrapped in the light doughnut. The Espresso Filled was completely mind blowing with so many layers of flavor rolling around in so many different textures! The smokiness of the crisp on top was so satisfying before the lush punch of espresso cream that had me believing I was in Italy at a famous espresso bar. And listen friends, I'm not even going to tell you how good that Blackberry and Raspberry doughnut was because you wouldn't even believe me. Just go, now! read more

I've been hearing great things about Devi's donuts. So, decided to check them out today for national donut day. I'm pleasantly surprised by the fluffiness of the vegan donuts! Not dry at all. The first time I had Devi's Donuts and Sweets was before I was vegan at the Long Beach Farmers Market. The second time was at a vegan event in Santa Ana. This was the third time. I was craving Cinnamon Rolls. They are at Marina Farmer's Market on Sundays. Make sure you wear a mask! Each donut were packaged in its own containers. I ordered two Cinnamon Rolls, a cinnamon crumb donut, raspberry/blackberry donut, and the Oreo donut. Desserts are always yummy. They still tasted fresh after 2 days! Due to the COVID situation a lot of the pop up shops have been closed, but I was able to order Devi's Donuts via Instagram and it was a very easy process, just make sure you get your order in the day before. They offer pickup and delivery locally around Long Beach. I ordered 9 doughnuts and they were all so fresh and delicious! The berry ones and the Oreo doughnut were my absolute favorites! Well I been want to try this place for a while . To be honest I found it while searching for vegan doughnuts before the pandemic . I live in Fresno and I visit my family once in a while . But when the stay at home started I stopped going . So finally until recently I was able to head over here . First off didn't know you can order online until I checked out there website . They have delivery as well and this place is only found in farmers market . Ordering was a breeze . I emailed them and they quickly answered with in a few hours ( tip : order a day before to make they have your order ) . I ordered a half a dozen and picked up the next day . The farmers market on Sunday has a lot of venders and is across from a parking structure you can park . Also I found out that sundays you don't have to pay for 120 minutes and after that you pay. So that was nice to know for next time . Now how were the doughnuts ... well my weakness is lemon flavored treats . It's rare to find a vegan lemon doughnut. So I got pistachio lemon and lemon meringue ( also got chocolate sprinkles for my bro ) . Flavor wise amazing !!! Like wow the lemon meringue has a hint of coconut which I love . The lemon pistachio is more mild but still delicious . Sweet wise it's in the normal and didn't think that they were too much . Plus these were addicting lol I had to to stop myself from eating more than one . The doughnut is a firm doughnut which I like but some may not . Lastly the price . They are pricey doughnuts for 4 dollars each . But they are not small and they are not your typical doughnut so the price makes sense . Plus the ingredients they use tastes fresh . So me and my bro where super happy with our experience . Wish they had these in Fresno!!! Lol Will order again if I'm in area for sure ! read more

All vegan family-owned donuts and sweets business that started out at local farmers markets. I can't believe these donuts are vegan. Get them before they sell out and check-in for a discount off half a dozen. Not a single person would be able to tell that these donuts are vegan. Get them for your family, get them for your clients, and I promise no one would know. These are amazing. They are not sweet. They are just perfect. We had the lemon pistachio donut - lemon glaze topped with pistachio crumble, and the blackberry and raspberry donut - raspberry glaze topped with a blackberry. This is a take out donut shop. The donuts are vegan and they are waaaaay better than regular donuts. There is a good variety of flavors but the best is definitely the pistachio donuts, it's the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The cappuccino is yummy as well. It's worth the price. read more

Been a fan of Devi's since they were only at a couple of farmers markets, and now that they have a brick and mortar location, it's never been easier to get amazing vegan donuts. If I really had to give one criticism of Devi's, it's that they have too many flavors that I love and it makes it hard for me to choose. At first glance I could see why this place might be overlooked but you do NOT want to miss this place! As someone with a Gluten and Dairy allergy I have not had a good donut in years, until now! We went a little later in the morning so some of the gluten free flavors were already gone but the lady behind the counter was so nice and the donuts were all freshly glazed. Artisanal 100% vegan donuts, made by friendly Long Beach locals. Devi's operated as a pop up for several years before opening their petite storefront. The shop is tiny, fitting maybe two people inside at once. Digital monitors display their impressive selection of unique flavors. Devi's seems to make one type of donut, topped with a wide of variety of icings/glazes. It is an airy, raised donut, almost reminiscent of a very high quality brioche. I got the Strawberry, Pistachio, and Vanilla/Rainbow Sprinkles, and devoured all three in under 10 minutes. I loved the authentic flavors, and delicate consistency of the icings. They have coffee! I got an iced coffee with cream (vegan obviously) and sugar, and it was fantastic. Rich, bold espresso with the perfect level of sweetness. The owners are SO genuinely cool and sweet as well. I let mine sit for a bit and I think that affected the tasting experience. & Service is genuinely chill which I respect and prefer. No need to perform. Firstly, since it's all plant-based, I was able to eat literally anything off the menu, which is always delightful. Started the meal with a Tricolore Salad and the Pizza Montanara for appetizers. The Salad was good, best when you can get a bit of every ingredient in each bite. The Pizza Montanara was hotter than magma when we received it, but once it cooled and we were able to tear it into pieces, it was very, very good. These two items themselves would be a great light meal. We had glasses of red wine with the main course, which paired well with the pastas we chose. One Vesuvio, which was really tasty with a little chili heat (not so much so that it made eating it a rough job,) and another pasta dish that I can't recall the name of that was very lemony and cooling. We both shared these dishes and the alternating between the two very different flavor profiles was really fun. The online menu doesn't have these pastas listed in the "Dinner" section, but the in-store menu did. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was that they were out of things like meatballs, olives, and a couple other items, but we were still able to choose dishes that were delicious. The restaurant's vibe is very laidback and like, elevated casual, if that makes sense. They have great little water glasses and everything has a modern feel, from the green decor accents to the fancy pasta forks, which are the first of their kind I've ever seen. The bathroom had a bidet, which was my first experience with the same, and it was cool and fun. Thorough! I laughed at the sticker on the bidet saying it WILL spray you in the face. By all means not here to sh*t on the business because we still want to come here to support them. However, last Saturday I believe was the 5/23/26, they had an event and an artist guest came and performed for the guests. It was nice, but it was also very packed in there with people out the door. We snuck through the back just to get in, people standing and blocking traffic because there was no room and space. We had to wait in a small crammed isle area towards the bathroom. It took awhile for our simple togo order to get done--which was also mistakenly given to someone else. They couldn't figure out simple logistics. There were also others who got wrong orders while we stood there waiting. They had to re-make people's pizzas while the pizza had to be given away for free because it had already been touched. My gripe is that in the future, if you're having an event, (maybe they do this here all the time), please have a floor manager to alleviate the crowd and simple operations and logistics to handle the lines, the crowd control, and providing fast and accurate service. Not just making the food right, but with time, and a comfortable environment. They could have made it more. It was so busy, that they either looked to be short-staffed or got confused on a lot of their orders. In short, in the future their manager should do better in operations and executing the the transactions to flow more smoothly. If you're having a guest performer, find a way to also make that work better. Maybe make people not block the pathways, more chairs or seating outside, have a bigger venue or open some areas to fit better..maybe they like this intimate atmosphere but it did not work for half of the guests there just trying to get in and out. This review is not to burn the spot but to encourage them do better in the future. This is just to help them understand and hopefully this helps to provide constructive feedback..because I know the owner here reads a lot of these comments..
