My Chicken Parmesan was delicious, fresh, and hot. The pasta was cooked just right. The owner/chef also cooks Turkish food and I was very impressed with that. Lasagna is swimming in canned tomato sauce. No meat sauce just crumbles of meat inside (bare min) what seemed like a slightly melted slice of cheese is placed on top. For $17 bucks you instantly regret the purchase. Doesn't come with soup and salad like you would assume a $17 dollar dinner would. The slice of pizza was large and tasted ok. The lunch special is $12.99 comes with a drink soup and salad and I'm sure the same portion of lasagna it's not possible to make it smaller.. My wife and I just found our new favorite restaurant in Irving! Di Rosani's is fantastic for its service, thoughtfulness towards the customer, and [of course!] great food at a reasonable price! My wife had chicken, I had a calzone, & it was THE best calzone I've ever had in my life- and I did a good chunk of my growing up in Little Italy! The cook/owner himself came out and checked in with us, asking how everything was going. I answered him honestly- the food was a mazing, and our server [I forget his name, but a good-humored young guy with a small black mustache, IIRC] was attentive w/out being intrusive; another great part of the atmosphere. They even had live background music-a fellow playing for atmosphere on a synthesizer that went to each table asking for requests! I like any place that gives good food for the money. But DiRosani's goes the extra mile- heck, the extra *20* miles to make your meal an experience that's epic and enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to our next visit! read more

In Irving on some other business and was looking for a place to get dinner before heading home. We were hesitant at first because the place was not busy but it was that between lunch and dinner crowd time of day (3-4p). Wife got Chicken Alfredo & I got Cheese Ravioli, something we both eaten many times at other Italian restaurants. This place is awesome! My Fiancé and I were told by a friend to come here because they paid ahead of time for our dinner. They fixed up the table with linens, used beautiful plates, and even put out flowers for us! The owner Hasan was a wonderful host and came out to meet us. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! Went in at 7 on a Saturday night with a 6 top. Had last large table left. Food was very good. We had been here before pre Covid and it was good then but is much better now. New decor and a professional kitchen to observe the dough being tossed and meat being grilled. Brought our own alcoholic beverages and had a tremendous time with my family. Food was a good value for the times we are in now. I think the Irving public might have a great family Italian restaurant in downtown Irving to support for a long time. I finally got around to dining at Di Rosani's tonight. I've heard so many great things about the place but eating is believing... Believe it! The food is so good-fresh, and flavorful. Loved the wait staff and the owner. I will definitely be a repeat diner! We had the chicken piccata which is one of my favorite dishes at any Italian restaurant. The lemon caper sauce was delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful. By the way, when you order a salad, it's not some puny little side salad so get one and split it if you are going to follow with an entrée. I very seldom eat desserts but my sweetheart and I split a slice of cheesecake. It was velvety and rich and delicious. Worth every delicious calorie. This local restaurant is a gem! This is the second time we have been here and both visits were outstanding! Lasagna is just like your Nonna would make; the pasta is the perfect al dente; the meat sauce is hearty and flavorful; and the bread is crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. A couple of people came in for take-out pizzas, so we will have to try one at some point. Service is outstanding and it's moderately priced. I never heard of this place but we stopped because we were hungry but didn't want fast food or to drive out of our way for a sit down restaurant. I checked the reviews and saw it was highly rated to we gave it a chance and it didn't disappoint. The fettuccine Alfredo tasted authentic and home made and fettuccine cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, too! I also tried the fried ravioli (not pictured) but maybe I don't have a good point of reference never having eaten them but there really wasn't any flavor. The salad that comes with your entree is given to you at the very beginning while your still at the register so that was quick and it was very crisp and refreshing. Lastly, the breadsticks were damn near perfect - crispy, flaky and buttery on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend this place! read more
