Why haven't I been here before? Great lunch specials with delicious food. In mid-August, a group of about 8 of us visited Di Rosani'a. It was my first visit. When you arrive, you walk to right and you will see there lunch specials and New York style pizzas cut in to slices. You walk along to your left and order at the register. Your food, if not immediately available, will be brought promptly to your table. You get your own drinks. You choose your table after ordering. Many of the meals come with bread that others were raving. I have pizza and it quickly reminded me of our summer trip to NYC. The lunch special comes with a generous salad as well. This was our second time eating here but our first time in the restaurant. The service and food were excellent! We had the mozzarella sticks. They had a delicious sauce to dip in. Then we ordered the the fettuccine Alfredo and the penne A la vodka both were dinner portions and you can almost share the dinner portion with someone. The food came out fast, hot, and fresh. Both pasta dishes were so tasty! It's also a bring your own bottle of wine so we will definitely go back and take our own bottle. I would highly recommend. read more

I had driven by this place many times since moving to Irving and ate across the street but just finally tried it out and we were not disappointed. This is one of, if not the best Italian places in Irving/Las Colinas. The prices are really good and the quality of the meals, both lunch and dinner are fantastic. I have tried the Chicken Sunrise, lasagna, and baked ziti. The chicken sunrise is made with a delicious sherry wine sauce. The lasagna is probably my favorite. Their meat sauce is outrageously good. All meals come with garlic rolls, which look homemade and are addicting. We have also tried two desserts. The tiramisu and a canoli . I prefer the tiramisu but both were great. Had another birthday dinner at a small Italian restaurant in Historic downtown of Irving. Quaint and cute place and all 6 of us ordered different dishes. We ordered Lasagna, Penna pasta with marinara sauce and chicken, Lobster bisque soup and lobster ravioli, chicken marsala, sunrise chicken pasta, and another dish with alfredo and wine sauce with chicken (don't remember the name of dish) and OMG everything was so delicious!! All were so delicious and generous proportions. For my birthday, they brought out the Tiramisu plate and played the birthday song overhead. We also bought the cannoli, baklava and the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and all were exquisite in presentation and taste. This is our first time for all of us and we have all stated that we will be back. Price is comparable to other Italian restaurants for dinner. Staff were very friendly. The dinner rolls were about the size of two rolls in one and were delicious with the fantastic marinara sauce! This place is a must on the foody stop of great dining! read more

I will start with apologizing for not taking pictures. I ordered from here because they were available on Uber Eats. My roommate got the Lobster Ravioli and I got the New York style meatball pizza with extra sauce on the side. For desert we got the cheese cake and Baklava. Let's start with the tin foil in the bag. I opened it up and there's 2 gorgeous rolls. They were glistening with butter. They melt in your mouth like butter as well. I enjoyed dipping them in the sauce as well. Next, let's talk about that sauce. Oh my goodness!!!! That's now my favorite sauce ever. It's so delicious. It tastes so fresh and though I hate to use this next word for fear that it will be taken negatively, but it was simple. The rich tomato and garlic. Mmmmmm On to that pizza. I devoured it. Every single piece was eaten. NO CRUST LEFT BEHIND!!!! The meatballs are tasty. Now, I'm a greedy foodie and would enjoy more meatball slices on there but it's okay. There's nothing bad about this pizza. I didn't eat the Lobster Ravioli, but my roommate says it's the best he's ever had. It looked yummy. I also didn't eat the cheese cake but again, he said it is very good. On to the Baklava!!! It was slightly warm and now my favorite. Theirs was so much better than any Baklava I have ever ever EVER tasted. I will be going here and dining in soon. I want to try out some spaghetti and meatballs SOON! read more

My wife was wanting some Italian food so we looked up Di Rosani's online and found the Yelp Delivery app had their menu. We ordered online (and used a five dollar off coupon). The app said about 45 minutes for delivery. The driver showed up in more like 20-25 minutes with hot food, fresh from the oven. We had the Irving Platter appetizer, Penne with meat sauce and meatballs and a Meat Lasagna. All the food was looked and tasted very good. The best Italian food we have had in some time. Highly recommend Di Rosani's for dine in or delivery. Thanks to the Di Rosani's team for a great meal in a hurry...we'll order again soon. read more

Being from the east coast, I have high standards for Italian food. I've been eating Italian food my entire life and can't find a single spot in Texas that's relatively good. We sat outside on a wonderful spring night..... the atmosphere was great! The rolls are amazing! His entree was phenomenal, chicken marsala. Our server was lovely! I had lasagna which I didn't love, because to me it wasn't really lasagna, so he polished it off and was a happy camper. Just discovered this little gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing! The sauces had a really rich flavour, not sure but the pasta tasted like it was made from scratch. We ate here last night and I was pleasantly surprised by our experience! South Irving isn't known for having great restaurant options - but this place was very enjoyable. Supreme Pizza (added jalapenos) - the large is huge! My parents enjoyed it quite a bit, although they said they would omit the jalapenos next time because they were a bit too spicy for them. Penne alla Vodka - very good and flavorful Chicken Francaise - also very good - VERY lemon-y! I love citrus so this was not a problem for me - but it could be a bit much for others. Shrimp fra Diavlo - my brother had this and also enjoyed it quite a bit - nice amount of heat Joe was a great server - very attentive and informative. I really wanted to like this place since we really need some good places to eat in downtown Irving but if you actually like pasta in your pasta dish, steer clear. I ordered my food to go with stuffed mushrooms as a starter and lunch lasagna to go with it. The mushrooms were very small and drowned in a sauce that tasted more like Campbell's condensed tomato soup than what I would have expected for the price. Next the lasagna, well I am including a picture but there was no pasta to the lasagna. The picture shows what I got... 1 1/2 inch edge of pasta on each side of a mix of meat and cheese (no layers) with a thick top of mozzarella cheese. Make certain you're not lactose intolerant. I found myself in old downtown Irving on business and needed lunch when it was done. I was thinking about somewhere else but my parking spot was right in front of Di Rosani's. It looked interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. It's not fancy or expensive, just good neighborhood food. The interior looks like it's either a brand new restaurant or it has been remodeled recently. Either way, it looks very nice. Very clean and roomy. Seating is comfortable, i'd even say above average. The guy behind the counter was friendly and attentive to my needs and wants. The kitchen area looked clean and organized. The pizza by the slice that was displayed showed the slices to be huge. I ordered the lunch combo. Pasta (I chose spaggetti ) a salad and a drink. The salad was not pre-prepared, you get to tell him what you want on it. It's nice not having to pick off stuff you don't like. The pasta was served with bread that looked like a small loaf. The bread was lite and fluffy and appeared to have a glaze of butter or oil. The pasta was good. I won't say amazing because it wasn't, but like I said, this is not a high dollar, foodie kind of place. But for a neighborhood Italian restaurant, it was very good. As an extra suprise, since it's just a few days before Christmas, at the end of my meal they brought me a small gift bag that had a couple of Lindor Chocolates in it. I have always been very impressed with the food here. I've been here many times for both their lunch specials and spending time with great friends over dinner here. Tonight was the first time that I have noticed on my bill that I was charged $1.00 for a iced tea refill!! Seriously?? I spent over $35 for dinner and your employees have the gall or nerve to add a $1.00 charge for iced tea refills? It probably costs your restaurant about $6.00 to make a large container of tea and you already charged me $2.25 per glass of tea and my wife and I both had tea. What a rip off!! Then to make matters worse, you ran out of tea!! What a joke!! We really have tried to support your restaurant since your doors were opened. We are seriously going to reconsider coming back here again. Each time we are here for dinner there are usually five to six couples in our group and you want to nickle and dime us on tea refills?? I was looking for an Italian place as I was craving my favorite dish Chicken Piccata and stumbled upon Di Rosani's and I am so glad I did too! This place has THE best Chicken Piccata dish I think I've ever had or at least had in a very long time. I am very particular about the Piccata sauce and Di Rosani's is about as authentic as it gets. The Owner greeted me with open arms and even gave me a beautiful Rose when I left. Not only are the Chicken dishes fantastic, their pizzas are the rave but they also serve homemade Baklava which is to die for. Love, love LOVE this place and advise that it is a must stop if you want some really good fresh authentic italian food, great service and a quaint comfortable atmosphere. read more
