My friend and I shared a veggie quesadilla and it was delicious! Then indulged in the bourbon bread pudding. To die for! And to top it off there was a really good live band (on a Sunday evening!) The old west saloon atmosphere made for a good time.

The atmosphere of Diamond Belle Saloon is absolutely iconic. There is a live piano player playing classic tunes like Ragtime Cowboy Joe as well as some Billy Joel/Elton John medleys, the servers are in period authentic clothing on theme with the saloon vibe, etc. The drink I got (Electric Tea) was good! Not the best cocktail I've had though and a bit overpriced, the same can be said for the food too. My mom got the chicken pot pie and I got the french dip. Both were difficult to eat with ease but delicious nonetheless. I'd definitely come back but probably just for a drink and an appetizer, not a full meal.

Stopped in here for lunch and visit a piece of Durango history; it really has the look and feel of the Old West. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. Our tasty beverages came right out. We shared a French Dip sandwich, salad and clam chowder. Everything was tasty but standard.

Just had a "light lunch" of two big salads. I enjoyed the Southwest Cobb and my wife, the Main Avenue. Both loaded with grilled chicken and really sharable if you chose to do so. The restaurant, has a large menu and is in the Strater Hotel, a historic old west building with multiple restaurants. Waitresses dress as saloon girls to add to the western flavor. A great stop in Durango to relive the past.

Place is like an old time saloon from the late 1800s. Even down to the outfit Eva our waitress wore. Eva was priceless. Kidding with us. She was running all over and still great service. We were just grabbing appetizers so it was veggies with hummus and chicken quesodillas for the 3 of us. Ice tea to drink. Great place. And make sure you tip Eva well. She was great

Our food was great. Service was fast and friendly. Would recommend the burgers. My daughter got tomatoe bisque and grilled cheese she loved it.

To put it simply, you must go here! The hotel is stunning. The Belle is just as stunning, if not more so. It's like you've stepped back in time! The pianist was so incredibly talented, it was such a blast to hear him play, and he had a great crowd interaction that made it so personable. Drinks were great -- the old-fashioned could've been stronger, that's my only critique! The Bees Knees was an exceptionally crafted cocktail. Meatloaf was delicious! Tasted very homemade. A wonderful memory!

We came here on my birthday. We aren't big drinkers (or drinkers at all for that matter) so we came for the ambience and food. Great piano player who was kind enough to sing happy birthday to me. Had to return the chicken wings as they were awful. So tough we couldn't eat them. Waitress brought us out egg rolls instead which were ok. Loaded nachos ok. What's interesting is she took off the wings from our bill. Yet when she ran the credit card she must have added her tip because it was 5.00 more. Hubby left additional tip and we couldn't stick around to ask about it. The girls are dressed in period attire and the ambience is great. Hopefully the other meals that came out of the kitchen were better then ours. I'd suggest go for drinks and appetizers and enjoy.

Atmosphere is good here. Service is also good. Know before you go it is first come first serve and it's a relaxed environment. Food is good. Don't be in a rush and you'll have a good time.

Diamond Belle. Diamond is one of my favorite places to go, Adam who is a champion fourth time for one of the best old-time piano players in the world. So much fun we love JD the bartender and Carson. Love the energy. Inside the Strater Hotel. I WOULD RECOMMEND.

I'm admittedly addicted to this place so know that in advance. I'm only here when Adam Swanson is playing, and the food and drinks really don't matter after that. This is an annual pilgrimage spot for us, and the food is pretty good, the drinks good and reasonable, the ambience when Adam is playing over the top, the service professional and friendly and the fun factor wonderful! Love this place!

The location was perfect for us because we were able to easily walk there from our hotel. We were lucky enough to get outdoor seating, which made the experience even better. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Durango weather, and people watch while having dinner. We decided to do a beer flight so we could sample a variety of their beers before committing to a full pint. It was a great way to try different styles, and we each ended up finding a favorite. Everything we tried was really good. My husband liked their Buffalo wings and whiskey burger, I enjoyed the seared tuna bowl, and our kids liked their pizza. It is definitely a busy and popular spot, especially during peak vacation times, so I would recommend putting your name in early and expecting there could be a wait. In our opinion it was worth it. Steamworks had a great casual vibe that worked well for both families and adults wanting to enjoy a brewery experience. The downtown location adds to the charm, and it definitely felt like one of those must visit spots while in Durango.

The steak was incredibly flavorful and practically melted in my mouth. What stood out most was how well everything complemented each other, the seafood, pasta, and steak created a perfectly balanced dish. My husband ordered the Ahi, and it was equally delicious, fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. We started with the calamari and were pleasantly surprised when it came with homemade fettuccine. It was honestly some of the best calamari we've had in a long time, perfectly cooked and beautifully paired. Overall, this is a great choice if you're looking for an upscale dining experience with thoughtfully prepared dishes. Definitely recommend.

We were seated on the patio and it took quite a while for our server to greet us. Once she did, she brought water and took our drink order. She returned with our drinks and said she would be back to take our food order. We had plenty to talk about while waiting, but she repeatedly walked past our table to attend to other tables without stopping. Eventually, I had to stop her and let her know we were ready to order. My wife and our friend's wife both ordered a pasta dish with sliced steak and spinach. My friend had a salad with salmon and a bowl of soup, and I ordered the filet with potato lasagna and spinach. As the evening went on, it became breezy and chilly. I asked another server if the patio heater could be turned on, and someone came over right away to help, which we appreciated. When our meals arrived, everything looked excellent and tasted very good. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, our server only stopped by our table once during the entire meal to check on us and it was lien she was in a rush to leave to table. We spent a long time waiting to see if she would ask whether we needed anything or if we were finished. It wasn't as though she had to go out of her way to reach us--she walked past our table numerous times while serving her other tables. Because of the lack of attention, I once again had to get her attention to let her know we were finished and ask for a dessert menu. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate dessert to go after she highly recommended it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the description once I had a chance to eat it. The chocolate flavor was very mild, and the crunchy layer on the bottom was not particularly enjoyable nothing like a Dubai Chocolate. Overall, the food was excellent and deserving of praise. However, for a fine dining restaurant where both the food and drinks come at premium prices, the service fell well short of expectations. Great meals can make for a memorable evening, but attentive service is an important part of the fine dining experience, and unfortunately that was missing during our visit.
