For a great after dessert, I would recommend walking down to Sweet Jenny's on Spring Street just off of Main. I've done this on many occasions and their ice cream is always a delight. There's usually a long line, but it goes really fast and the service is with a smile. I like a nice scoop of strawberry ice cream, like the one you see in the picture. As an added bonus, if you get there before 6pm, there is a comic book store inside on the upper level! I scored a Dr Strange #6 from 1974. So grab your ice cream, and sit in the shade and read your comic books to the sound of a waterfall at Glen Park located just behind Sweet Jenny's. There's nothing like it.

That always stands out to me, as I feel it is really lacking at a lot of places. Thank you to the gentleman that took my order! Next up, they have a rewards program! Signing up gave me $3 off my order. You earn 1 point per dollar and get $5 off per 50 points. There are many picnic tables to sit at but it is order at the window only so no where to sit inside FYI. The graham central station sample I tried was delicious. I tried it to possibly replace the vanilla icecream with in my sundae but felt it packed enough flavor, that I didn't need to have it with a sundae with all the toppings (better on its own). The turtle sundae was absolutely rich and decadent and everything I wanted. Even the cherry on top was more rich and plump than the average maraschino cherry. It was extremely filling and took me an entire hour to finish .. still had fudge in the cup when I tapped out. The vanilla was so so creamy and delicious! Now THIS is real ice cream! As far as prices go, I find them pretty on point and to be expected in this area. Competitors are charging about the same and the quality is way better here. I don't mind paying for premium anyway and being absolutely satisfied. Quality always wins for me. I'm not the biggest ice cream fanatic, but this is definitely the place I'm going to go when I have a craving from now on. Each came with hard ice cream, two specialty toppings. sauce, and fluffy whipped cream. The total came to about $17. They had lots of signs up to encourage social distancing, mask use, and to not allow anyone inside. They accept credit cards and cash, but not Apple Pay. The service was friendly and they made our sundaes kinda quickly. My only criticism was that the paper menus taped on the windows were small, spread apart (some items were on the front window, others were on the side window), and they also didn't list any prices. Also- I'm not sure if this shop is under new ownership, but I don't believe it's called "Anita's" Scoops anymore, it's now called "Sundae Scoops".
