Something changed about Dig Inn for the better. Years ago, I had Dig Inn a few times. Each time, I remembered how dry and bland the food was. For some, that's appealing, but for me, I got tired of it and didn't revisit their locations ever again. Then, last year, I was in the area for a conference. We stopped by and grabbed some lunch here. Wow, the food is delicious. I created my own bowl: herb roasted chicken, brown rice, roasted sweet potatoes, and tomatoes&cucumbers with garlic aioli and pesto on the side as sauce. The chicken was moist and all the sides were whole natural vegetables. So healthy! Service is great. No issues there. Plenty of seating. A normal fast casual spot that gets the job done. Now, they have the All Day Deals on the app, which are such a steal - less than $11 for a whole meal. Get that if you are not picky! Ever since that time I gave Dig Inn another try, I've been going to Dig Inn ever since. read more

They have updated the format, so you no longer get a base + sides. That said, the portion seems fairly similar in size. They have also removed being able to add avocado, which i loved getting! Really solid spot with great selection of freshly made cleaner food. I was in and out very quick to get a bowl to go. Prices are very fair and better than most fast food places these days. Especially for what you get. They dont skim on any of their sides including the protein.I got a very balanced meal for a very fair price so I would recommend this to anyone. I don't even know where to begin except to say that Dig Inn has ruined all other restaurants for me because of how unbelievably juicy their meat is. The chicken? It's like it was injected with pure flavor and moisture - every bite explodes with juice that you didn't even know meat could hold. I ordered the steak and it was so succulent I actually had to pause and savor it, the juices literally running down my chin in the best possible way. Their pulled pork? Forget dry barbecue - this is next-level juicy, practically falling apart in a pool of its own delicious moisture. Even the turkey, which is usually the driest meat on the planet, comes out here impossibly juicy and tender. I have no idea how they do it, but every single meat option is a masterclass in juiciness. If you want meat that actually tastes alive with natural juices and flavor, Dig Inn is the only place. I'm obsessed. Will be back every week just for that perfect juicy bite. read more

They have choices as they do at Cava where the setting is similar for casual dining. I chose my base, meatballs over brown rice and I had it with carrots and kale. I initially had second thoughts about having carrots, but as it turned out, they were cooked just the way I like it with tasty seasoning. The kale was tasty too, not that I would have thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of seating for lunchtime crowds that in these times of remote work, no longer materialize. I really like this place as an alternative to less healthy fast food options and it tastes great. read more

This DIG location is next to 80 pine street in New York City. DIG offers healthy, fast-casual bowls, vegetables and comfort food. Reviewing their menu, I ordered the following The Chicken Roast: Herb chicken breast with chicken jus, chili crisp brussels sprouts, charred broccoli with lemon, and brown rice, with garlic aioli on the side. The Chicken Breast was juicy and not overcooked. The broccoli was delicious. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chili crisp brussels sprouts, but all of the other ingredients were yummy! I was very surprised with how great this place was on a late night in FiDi. There aren't too many good options in the area, especially after 8pm because everything closes early. There were a bunch of choices that you could pick from and all of them looked good. They also have a lot of healthy options as well. I got chicken thighs on brown rice, mac and cheese and green beans. Food was pretty solid. There was no line so there was no wait. This was our backup location after our original lunch plans fell through. It was deserted at 12:30 on a Friday which was somewhat surprising. I got a custom bowl with chicken, cauliflower, and mac and cheese. I liked the concept of competing with the other restaurant that serves you in bowls. The implementation was lacking though. The charred cauliflower was burnt and did not taste good. Need to rethink the charring. The atmosphere was cool and the prices were great, but I would be more careful about the sides I ordered next time. read more

I've complained about this location several times, but it's clear at this point that the service quality isn't improving. I keep returning because it's a reasonably good/healthy lunch option. My advice to customers is this: *check* your pickup order if you don't want to be disappointed later. Usually they'll forget a sauce, but today they completely left out the chicken I ordered for my custom bowl, I had to ask for it. Recently they just decided they didn't serve an item that was listed on their menu and just gave me whatever they wanted even though it was easy enough for them to make it. I had to ask them to make it the way I ordered (again, an item on the menu) and they looked at me like I asked them to give me a ride home. I walked past this place a bunch of times and it always seems busy. Today my friends and I decided to try it out. It's very reminiscent of other establishments where you pick a base, protein, and sides. I had brown rice, chicken, carrots, and broccoli. The chicken was very good. It was juicy and flavorful. The rice was undercooked and it just became off putting after a while. It was seasoned nicely which was a plus. The veggies were very good. I arrived from out of town hungry, and late in the evening (many of the financial district options had already closed). I jogged into Dig just 30 minutes before close. It has a sort of American classic + Chipotley mashup vibe. I didn't want to think too hard in terms of choices, so just ordered the "Dig Classic". It was chicken (grilled), rice, broccoli, and some sweet potatoes. The seasoning was strong. Not bad, but definitely lots of salt and pepper. The food quality was OK, though maybe would have been fresher earlier in the day. The dining room was a bit messy (napkins strewn about, utensils needed to be refilled). The staff weren't very engaged, though they were friendly enough. I would do this again in a pinch, though honestly would probably prefer a Chipotle over this (and if it weren't so late, I would try one of the many other local and well-reviewed places nearby). read more

Jasmine is particularly amazing and when I ordered today there was an issue with my order so I called over the phone and they were super nice again. When I got my delivery there was a chocolate chip cookie with a beautiful 'have a nice day' message on the cookie sachet. I loved these chains and knew what I was getting myself into. A good cooked meal that feels like it's a mix of a home cooked meal but with more juiciness and flavor. The line was wrapped about the place at this FiDi location, but it moved very quickly. The only downside was the staff are monotone from the long lines, that they dont even explain to you what your options are, they have no desire to repeat themselves. There was no menu or signs explaining what each item was, although you could guess. Overall 10/10 for the food, 8/10 for the experience. read more

Great lunch place! Fast and fresh. Came here for lunch with a few colleagues. The line moved quickly and they included a variety of locally sourced ingredients. I had the brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, and chicken added to my salad and rice mix. The chicken was delicious- very tender. The sweet potatoes were a bit difficult to mix in; it may have been easier if they were cut into smaller pieces. On the contrary, the brussel sprouts were cut very small and some were charred. The other add-ins looked good and included some seasonal variety. For a "fast" lunch place, I was very happy that they offered for-here service ware. Will definitely return. read more

DISHONEST! We placed a group order for about 10 people but all the chicken sides were missing. We called and was told that they ran out of chicken and they offered to refund our sides. So... we had to call to get our refund. If we hadn't called they would have just kept our money. They didn't even have the decency to tell us they "ran out of chicken" before delivery. read more
