    Fish & chips

I visited Concord to see my Mom for the day. Since it's difficult for her to leave the house, I decided to order from a local restaurant and bring the food to her. I placed two online orders for fish & chips and picked them up about 30 minutes later. The restaurant was busy and clearly popular among locals. A friendly staff member greeted me and happily told me we got the last fish and chips order for the day. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Both my Mom and I loved the fish and chips, and we plan to order again from Digger's!

I've never actually eaten inside of the establishment but we have ordered their breakfast to go quite a few times. We are big fans of their chicken tenders and hashbrowns.

Weeknight dinner was a hit! We ordered one of the holiday specials +corn dogs with chili) the club sandwich, and a BLT plus a side of tots. I am always a sucker for tots! Service was friendly as always and since Digger's is only open for dinner in the weekdays, it was not too crowded. This place is definitely our go to local diner.

The vibe of this place is amazing. Looks like a tattoo parlor from the outside. rod run muscle car vibe on the inside and super chill. Super spacious. Clean. Great for groups. The staff are fantastic. Super friendly and keep your drink topped off. The food is good too. Great value for portions. And delicious. I had the stubb burger and the sweet potato fries. 10/10 would come again

This is my new go-to breakfast/ lunch spot. The food here is really good and the service is great. I really like the owner he always greets customers with a dad joke and very welcoming. Stop by if you're in the area!!

I love Breakfast all day long. We took my brother and some friends to Digger's for lunch but ended up getting Breakfast for lunch. Although probably not the healthiest, Diggers has good comfort food that tastes good. Two of us had the Chicken Fried Steak. I had mine with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and the other person had eggs over medium and country potatoes, two others had the Diggers Special with Country Potatoes, one person had a Cheesy Omelet with country potatoes and the other had Rib Eye Steak with hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was tasty, flavored, cooked just right and gravy was spot on. Everyone loved their potatoes, one of the best hash browns I've had. Diggers special scramble was tasty, cheese omelet was good, sadly the rib eye was over cooked, well done instead of medium (disappointing because it was the highest priced item on the menu). We were very appreciative that they were to happy to serve the 3 eggs prepared two different ways with the rib eye steak. Excellent customer service. Everyone enjoyed their food and we all would come back for the breakfasts and try the lunch items on the menu too. Family friendly with attentive nice staff and a robust menu with something for everyone. Comfort food the way it should be. Diggers is on the edge of town but worth the drive, you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast for seven including a toddler. We had reserved a table, so it was ready for us when we arrived. There were supposed to be eight of us but unfortunately one person couldn't join us. We ordered a number of dishes but I'm only going to review what my wife and I had. Everyone else had been here before and enjoyed their food as well. This was our first visit. Chicken Fried Steak - 5 - A nice piece of steak smothered in gravy, three eggs over easy, hash browns and toast. A fine meal by all means but then I had the audacity to also order: Grits - 3 - like a guy can't possibly get enough starch. Unfortunately, these grits need some salt and were just a tad thick. I also suspect that the butter on top may have been margarine. It certainly wasn't creamy. Boothill Steak Salad - 5 - She loved, loved, loved her salad. Unlike the picture, it came with several Onion Rings and lots of Steak. The base salad was very simple, but everything combined made her very happy. She too was greedy and ordered: Tater Tots - 5 - Yup, regular ole Tater Tots. Sometimes you just get a craving that you have to satisfy. Dave came by our table and welcomed us, talked about the concept, what he used to do for a living before opening the diner and just chatted a bit. He was interesting and will be missed when he retires later this year. The decor is interesting with the murals on the walls. The staff was friendly and efficient and took care of all our needs.

Homestyle flavors in an extensively decorated establishment. We got two Digger's Full Breakfast, one with sausage links (they give four) and the other with two hot links. Everything tasted great and were large portions too!

Came in bright and early Saturday, was seated right away. Took a while for server to come around and take our order. I got the chicken fried steak that comes with hashbrowns, eggs, and toast. Really delicious! It was fresh and crispy even with the gravy on the top of it. Was a large portion and had to get a box to go. Classic diner place with those vintage vibes. Took forever for the server to give us our check even though I had asked for a box a while before.

We decide to sit at the bar area to sit on the stools instead of taking up a table. We ordered the crispy chicken eggs Benedict and choco banana pancakes. Let me tell you, the portions are large.. so make sure you bring an appetite. We ended up sharing our plates and I think we both agreed that we loved the crispy chicken eggs Benedict most- but they were both really delicious. The chicken was crispy. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The crispy potatoes, even though at first I was a little disappointed there was no hashbrowns, I am so glad! Those potatoes are amazing! The pancakes were pretty delicious as well, but I think the toppings and the caramelized banana bananas on the side were the best part. We also tried two different drinks. A Matcha latte as well as a 'butterfly pea latte'- which I believe was a lavender latte maybe? They were both very beautiful and delicious. The only downside to our experience here was that because it was pretty busy, our service was not as fast as we would like. So we had to ask for a couple of things, after getting the server's attention. Other than that, we had an amazing experience. We will be back to try more things on the menu soon!

It took us about 30 min before we were seated and we arrived around 1200. We just hung out in the parking lot until our name was called. The menu is pretty straightforward and of course, any brunch place I have to try their eggs Benedict. My usual go to is the Eggs Florentine (I prefer going the meatless options when it comes to my Benny) but the crispy chicken looked visually delicious. Crispy Chicken Benedict: This was as salivating as pictured. The chicken was super crispy, despite being underneath the Hollandaise sauce. Oh, and the sauce itself was perfect. It was their spicier version, so it had a bit of a kick after the second wave. The rest of the Benny is what I expect, the English muffins baked correctly and the eggs poached perfectly. The potatoes were crispy and not too oily as well. Overall, I had a great time at this restaurant. A bit small but it holds its charm. I can see myself coming back here again.

The person I was meeting arrived about 30 minutes late, and the staff was very accommodating and made sure I was taken care of while I waited. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional despite how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but once seated it was comfortable. They also offer outdoor seating. I ordered orange juice along with French toast, eggs, spinach, cheese, and bacon. My daughter had hot chocolate and a kids meal that came with a cute Oreo cookie. My stepdaughter ordered the raspberry stuffed French toast and a strawberry mimosa and appeared to enjoy her meal. The presentation of the food and drinks was beautiful. Everything looked great when it arrived at the table. Unfortunately, the food itself just wasn't for me. The hash browns tasted more like fried mashed potatoes, and overall the meal looked much better than it tasted. As someone who enjoys good food, I was disappointed because the flavors didn't match my expectations. The service was the highlight of the visit and is the reason for the rating. While I appreciated the staff and the atmosphere, the food simply wasn't something I enjoyed.

Waitress was kind to bring me hot water bcuz of my lost voice I asked for Chantilly cream on the side first from waitress. It never came even tho she wrote it down. Then I asked hostess/aka owner Tammy. And it still never came out. I asked my own waitress again and she apologized for it never coming out (I thought that's why a waitress brings out your food, so they can also see if something is wrong with it before it reaches your table)-she brings me out a bowl of sour cream So I took the bowl And went to a third waitress and asked is this Chantilly cream and she says no that's sour cream So I asked for it again and another bowl of sour cream comes out Third waitress talks to owner who comes out to me and I show her on google what Chantilly cream really is and ask her to talk to her chefs about revising the menu bcuz it's misleading offering Chantilly Apparently the cream is mixed with something called Melba? A raspberry sauce...so I guess customers have not noticed the difference in the past or something...as a result, by itself, I DID notice... Anywho, no my waitresses fault, actually the fault of the chef/cook in the back. But owner shouldd know what that is before putting it on menu for people to order. But I appreciate Tammy's customer service, coming to me and talking to me about the menu sincerely and apologizing and offering to "take care of me" and my bill as I told her I would take care of her waitress despite all the mixup, for the kind gesture of bringing me in, in the beginning.

If you blink, you might miss it. Service is still 10/10! This time around, I ordered a hot matcha latte, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much (let's be real, some places can mess up matcha). But surprise, surprise -- it actually tasted like real matcha! It was delicious! For my meal, I tried the cowboy scramble, which I swear was everything but the kitchen sink tossed in a pan. It was hearty, satisfying, and totally hit the spot. The only hiccup? The melted butter they used on the toast had a weird aftertaste. I can't quite explain it -- like if butter went to a weird party and came back a little off. But hey, it didn't ruin the whole meal, just a little side note. I originally went out looking for a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and Googled "good breakfast…read morenear me." This spot came up, and although my wife and I have driven past it many times, we've never stopped in. Today, I decided to finally give it a try. After looking through the Google photos, I changed my mind and ordered a breakfast plate instead of a sandwich. Parking was a little challenging. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and had to circle the block a few times before finding a spot directly in front of the diner. When I walked in, I wasn't sure whether I should seat myself or wait to be seated. All of the waitresses appeared busy, so I stood near the entrance. Once she was available, Marianna greeted me. Initially, I wasn't a fan of being asked whether I was picking up food rather than whether I was dining in or taking out, but I quickly realized they may be accustomed to regular customers who already know the process. Since it was my first visit, I explained that I wasn't sure if I should seat myself. Personally, I think a sign near the entrance would be helpful for first-time guests. Since I was dining alone, I chose a seat at the counter and ordered the Sugar Plum Special with cheese grits and sourdough toast. While waiting for my food, I noticed something that concerned me. The staff did not appear to be wearing gloves, and I observed food being handled after touching various surfaces, including condiments, plates, glasses, and trash areas. While I understand that food service relies heavily on proper handwashing practices, I personally felt uncomfortable watching bread being handled directly by hand. I requested that my toast be handled with a utensil instead, and my request was accommodated without issue. When my food arrived, my eggs were cooked exactly as requested--scrambled hard--and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The bacon was a little saltier than I personally prefer, but that's more about my taste than the preparation. Overall, both items were flavorful. Now, let's talk about the grits. I come from a strong Southern background, and we take our grits seriously. The presentation was fantastic. The butter melting on top and the cheese looked absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, the texture wasn't there on the first serving. The grits were noticeably gritty and undercooked. After a couple of bites, I sent them back and requested they be cooked a bit longer. One of the waitresses explained that customers typically need to request the grits "well done." That was surprising to me because I've always believed grits should naturally be cooked until smooth and creamy. In my opinion, that's how they're meant to be served. Thankfully, the second batch was much better. While they still could have been stirred a bit more, the texture improved significantly and was much closer to what I expected. I also want to recognize Marianna for her excellent service. She was accommodating, attentive, and handled my concerns professionally throughout the meal. Overall, I would return. The restaurant has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and an old-school diner feel that is becoming harder to find these days. It reminded me of the kind of place you'd visit after church on a Sunday morning or somewhere you'd go with your grandparents for a comforting home-cooked meal. While there were a few areas that could be improved, the welcoming environment and friendly service left a positive impression on me.

Cozy diner serving generous portions!…read more I took my mom here for lunch on a Sunday. Most of the tables were occupied but we were able to get a seat at a table near the bar. We were given menus right after being seated and the waitress came back a few minutes later. I'd say service was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. This is what we ordered: * Organic beet salad with ranch dressing, $13 - delicious and refreshing salad with romaine, sliced beets, avocado chunks, grape tomatoes, nuts, sliced red onions, and feta cheese. I chose ranch and thought it paired well with the salad. * Fish and chips, $16.95 - 5 crispy battered cod (tasted like cod to me) pieces with plenty of French fries and a side of tartar sauce and lemon wedges. My mom liked how the batter was thin and crispy. The fish pieces were a little smaller than my hands. * Very berry waffle, $15.95 - soft waffle with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries dusted with powdered sugar and came with syrup on the side. The berries were sweet and the waffle was very tasty with syrup on top. * Sweet potato fries, $5.95 - crispy outside and soft inside. I love sweet potato fries and theirs were delicious. I ate it with ketchup, ranch, hot sauce, and tartar sauce. The portions were pretty big so my mom and I split everything. We ended up taking some fries home. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I found a hair in one of the containers of ranch that came with the salad, I thought the fries tasted a bit stale and dry when they were cold, and I wish the waffle came with butter and wish it was a little more crispy. Overall, I did enjoy my lunch here and my mom and I would come back! I'd try one of the omelettes next time.

My omlette Florentine was loaded with mushrooms and bacon. Hash browns were not as crispy as I would like but everything else was as hearty and delicious as expected. Service was stellar as usual. Friendly and efficient. Staff always had a smile. Still full of locals and your neigborhood diner crowd.

We honestly couldn't believe that we haven't came across this place a long time ago. We didn't eat…read morein, but we had take out. I think, Min's has the best presentation for take out, literally! It doesn't look like much, but it was exactly what you want for breakfast. Jose Omelet: 10/10 it has spinach, mushroom and apple sausage with cheese. I have never came across a place with an omelet with everything I love in an omelet without having to customize it. I literally cleaned my plate. Biscuit and gravy: 10/10 they give you 3 biscuits and gravy on the side. Biscuits were super fluffy and the gravy its self was seasoned perfectly. I always add extra pepper to mine and it was a hit for myself and my husband. Chicken Fried Steak: 10/10 my husband alwayssss gets CFS and he has stated this the best he's had because the gravy was made perfectly. I think to make your CFS taste great, the gravy has to match that energy, and it did! There is sausage in the gravy, but its like bits of sausage smashed down to the perfect bits of sausage with gravy ratio frls. Overall: 10/10 I think if they continue to make their gravy perfectly and the portions enough to make you perfectly full, this place is going to be better than great. We will be coming here and we will be trying everything on their menu.
