    Fish & chips

I visited Concord to see my Mom for the day. Since it's difficult for her to leave the house, I decided to order from a local restaurant and bring the food to her. I placed two online orders for fish & chips and picked them up about 30 minutes later. The restaurant was busy and clearly popular among locals. A friendly staff member greeted me and happily told me we got the last fish and chips order for the day. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Both my Mom and I loved the fish and chips, and we plan to order again from Digger's!

I've never actually eaten inside of the establishment but we have ordered their breakfast to go quite a few times. We are big fans of their chicken tenders and hashbrowns.

Weeknight dinner was a hit! We ordered one of the holiday specials +corn dogs with chili) the club sandwich, and a BLT plus a side of tots. I am always a sucker for tots! Service was friendly as always and since Digger's is only open for dinner in the weekdays, it was not too crowded. This place is definitely our go to local diner.

The vibe of this place is amazing. Looks like a tattoo parlor from the outside. rod run muscle car vibe on the inside and super chill. Super spacious. Clean. Great for groups. The staff are fantastic. Super friendly and keep your drink topped off. The food is good too. Great value for portions. And delicious. I had the stubb burger and the sweet potato fries. 10/10 would come again

This is my new go-to breakfast/ lunch spot. The food here is really good and the service is great. I really like the owner he always greets customers with a dad joke and very welcoming. Stop by if you're in the area!!

I love Breakfast all day long. We took my brother and some friends to Digger's for lunch but ended up getting Breakfast for lunch. Although probably not the healthiest, Diggers has good comfort food that tastes good. Two of us had the Chicken Fried Steak. I had mine with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and the other person had eggs over medium and country potatoes, two others had the Diggers Special with Country Potatoes, one person had a Cheesy Omelet with country potatoes and the other had Rib Eye Steak with hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was tasty, flavored, cooked just right and gravy was spot on. Everyone loved their potatoes, one of the best hash browns I've had. Diggers special scramble was tasty, cheese omelet was good, sadly the rib eye was over cooked, well done instead of medium (disappointing because it was the highest priced item on the menu). We were very appreciative that they were to happy to serve the 3 eggs prepared two different ways with the rib eye steak. Excellent customer service. Everyone enjoyed their food and we all would come back for the breakfasts and try the lunch items on the menu too. Family friendly with attentive nice staff and a robust menu with something for everyone. Comfort food the way it should be. Diggers is on the edge of town but worth the drive, you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast for seven including a toddler. We had reserved a table, so it was ready for us when we arrived. There were supposed to be eight of us but unfortunately one person couldn't join us. We ordered a number of dishes but I'm only going to review what my wife and I had. Everyone else had been here before and enjoyed their food as well. This was our first visit. Chicken Fried Steak - 5 - A nice piece of steak smothered in gravy, three eggs over easy, hash browns and toast. A fine meal by all means but then I had the audacity to also order: Grits - 3 - like a guy can't possibly get enough starch. Unfortunately, these grits need some salt and were just a tad thick. I also suspect that the butter on top may have been margarine. It certainly wasn't creamy. Boothill Steak Salad - 5 - She loved, loved, loved her salad. Unlike the picture, it came with several Onion Rings and lots of Steak. The base salad was very simple, but everything combined made her very happy. She too was greedy and ordered: Tater Tots - 5 - Yup, regular ole Tater Tots. Sometimes you just get a craving that you have to satisfy. Dave came by our table and welcomed us, talked about the concept, what he used to do for a living before opening the diner and just chatted a bit. He was interesting and will be missed when he retires later this year. The decor is interesting with the murals on the walls. The staff was friendly and efficient and took care of all our needs.

Homestyle flavors in an extensively decorated establishment. We got two Digger's Full Breakfast, one with sausage links (they give four) and the other with two hot links. Everything tasted great and were large portions too!

Came in bright and early Saturday, was seated right away. Took a while for server to come around and take our order. I got the chicken fried steak that comes with hashbrowns, eggs, and toast. Really delicious! It was fresh and crispy even with the gravy on the top of it. Was a large portion and had to get a box to go. Classic diner place with those vintage vibes. Took forever for the server to give us our check even though I had asked for a box a while before.

Staff is very friendly and the place has an older school burger place vibe. Staff is also helpful with orders, especially since it's my first time here. I like that they offer 2 menus for vegans and the other for everyone else. This helps for folks who can't eat red meat or meat in general! I ordered a ghost reaper fried chicken slider, beyond roasted chile slider and cajun fries. I also got a side of ranch. The fried chicken slider was delicious. Spicy but not too spicy that it takes away from the flavour of the slider. The plant based slider is extremely tasty. Nice char flavour and it's wonderful since I can't eat beef anymore that this slider tasted this good. Cajun fries are very tasty. They're crispy and very flavourful. The ranch is not the normal ranch at restaurants which I really like. It's not as sweet and is definitely more herbaceous. My only regret is not ordering 3 sliders lol. Bringing friends back to eat here. I don't see many places that are like this open!

Some favorites: - CALI SLIDER (HUGE chunks of avocado and thick chicken portions) - FRIED FISH SLIDER (like an elevated Filet-o-Fish LMAO) - CK BEYOND SLIDER (grilled to perfection! Amazing veg option!) - CLASSIC FRIES (CRISPY AF. Goddamn do these have good crunch) NOTE: The chicken is a bit of a hit or miss some days. First and latest time I tried them-- super juicy. The other times-- a little dry? Otherwise a solid burger~

The restaurant is super cute and clean and the servers are so kind and welcoming. We got 4 dishes: Plant-Based Drumstick as an appetizer. They were chewy, crispy, well seasoned and the sauce was tangy and sweet. Fried rice. Honestly I'm a huge fan of fried rice and this fried rice might be my new favorite beating out even fried rice that I love that isn't vegetarian. It was chewy, super flavorful, veggies were perfectly cooked. It was just perfect. Caramelized chicken. This dish was good. The imitation chicken was chewy and tender with crisp caramelized edges. The sauce was sweet and it was balanced out by the veggies and spinach served with it. Bamboo soup. It was so delicious and simple but the broth was so umami and savory. The veggies were so fresh and so well prepared. This is definitely a new favorite spot for us. Looking forward to going back.

Unfortunately the rain caused a plumbing issue resulting in sewage back up and bathrooms and half of the seating were closed. Thus, the reason for the low ambiance score. The food was very good, everything was fresh and the combination of flavors were perfectly flavored. I ordered the chicken avocado bowl with Romain and quinoa as a base. You can pick your own and I subbed crunchy rice vs. tortilla chips. I loved my bowl and wistfully look back to try some of the other bowls I saw other patrons order. This is a fast casual spot, you place your order while going down a line to select ingredients. At the end your salad or bowl is tossed and ready to eat. I've been a Sweetgreen customer since the original Mountain View location opened roughly 15 years…read moreago. Today was the worst customer service experience I've ever had at any Sweetgreen. I specifically requested a bowl for dine in because I strongly dislike eating out of the compostable cardboard containers. They affect the taste and overall dining experience for me. When I asked for a bowl, I was told none were available. The problem was that I could clearly see bowls in the restaurant. I was told they were "dirty" and unavailable. I also observed bowls being used for wrap preparation. I pointed out that there were other bowls visible, including plastic and porcelain bowls, but Store Manager Julia repeatedly cited "store policy" and offered no solution whatsoever. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of effort to accommodate a loyal customer. No attempt to wash a bowl. No alternative suggestion. No effort to find a manager-level solution. Just a flat "no." As a result, my wife ate her salad, my daughter ate her wrap, and I sat there watching because I refused to eat from the cardboard container. I've happily supported Sweetgreen for over 15 years, but after today's experience, that relationship is over. Other fast-casual restaurants like MIXT and Tender Greens have no issue providing proper dine-in bowls and plates when customers request them. The issue wasn't the bowl. It was the attitude, the unwillingness to help, and a manager who seemed more interested in hiding behind policy than solving a customer problem. After 15 years as a customer, I expected better. UPDATE: Sweetgreen responded with a generic, copy-and-paste apology that did not address any of the questions raised in this review. Specifically: * Does Sweetgreen provide dine in bowls or not? * Why are dine in bowls prominently featured in Sweetgreen's advertising and app if customers cannot use them? * Why was no attempt made to wash a bowl or otherwise accommodate a dine in customer? * Was Store Manager Julia correctly applying Sweetgreen policy, or was this simply poor customer service? I am still waiting for an answer.
