OOOOOO MAN!! I have been waiting for over a YEAR to come by Dilly Diner and finally got the chance today!! My friend and I both treated ourself to Sunday brunch with matching mimosas, coffee, and chicken and waffles. So. Freaking. Good. The staff was super kind, and available when needed. It took us about twice as long to be seated as estimated, but if you're going downtown at 10:30 on a Sunday for brunch, really you should be expected a long wait. So come prepared and have some spare time, particularly for a weekend brunch. I'm not sure how it looks during the week, but I would imagine it would be a little less hectic! The inside is super cute and modern despite looking like a very traditional diner from the outside. They have a good spread or traditional and updated breakfast/brunch items, but you can get dinner as well if you go at the right time! Our food was AMAZING! And we waited less time to get it than we did to get seated, so that was super appreciated. My husband has a love with their cinnamon rolls (the little sneak keeps coming with out), so I took him one to go. They packaged it beautifully and it help up well in travel. Very nice breakfast at Dilly Diner. Sat at the bar counter and was able to take a seat right away on Saturday morning since I was by myself but otherwise a crowded spot. Ordered the short stack pancakes with bourbon caramel sauce and bananas. The pancakes were fantastic, soft, fluffy and very good overall. The sauce was tasty although very very sweet and a bit granular, would prefer it to be a bit more balanced with the bourbon flavor but still ate every bite. Side of potatoes were nice, big chunks of real, fried potatoes and salt. Simple and well done. Service was good and both who attended to me were polite and pretty attentive most of the time except for right when I sat down. But no complaints, would go here again read more

A group of 5 of us went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They told us the wait would be 45- 1 hr but it was only actually 20 min. Yay! Sat down at our table and nobody would come to take our drink order. Multiple people around us who sat down after us were being checked up on and orders taken. We stopped a waiter and asked her if we could be helped and she said that she would send someone. Waited some more and nobody showed up so we asked the hostess about getting helped. She looked at us and said "hold on i'll be back and left". She never acknowledged our question. We finally got served and the food came up. The food was pretty good, although some parts of the meals were cold. If you are looking to go somewhere with great food AND great service, this may not be the place for you. This place is delicious!! The biscuits are light, fluffy, and warm. The perfect biscuit! I got the huevos rancheros and it was delicious, except the egg was over done. I found myself picking it off. The chorizo was very good, but semi spicy, so be warned! We also got the bagel and salmon lox. It was very good they did not skimp on anything except the salmon. The salmon was not quite as flavorful as I make a home and was not cute properly. Salmon lox must be thin. The salmon needed to be cured for one more day a least. Ok I have eaten here twice and it has not disappointed either time. Chicken fried steak was delicious. Mashed potatoes were good and buttery and the gravy is perfect. Next time though I will ask them to put the vegetables and mashed potatoes on another plate. The steak is so big they just lay it on top of the veggies and mashed which can make the underside of the steak soggy. Sorry I am a perfectionist when it comes to chicken fried steak. The second time I had the burger which is a nice meaty double patty and cheese. The fries are the shoe string type and are nice and crunchy. I have not tried there pies yet. By the time I have gotten there they are out of most of their selection which they make fresh. This will be a regular stop while I am working downtown. On the eighth day God made cow and determined it was not a sin to butcher that cow. Then take out all the frustration caused by Eve on that piece of cow and pound it to about 1/8 inch thick. Then dredge that pounded cow in flour and fry that sucker up and serve it with gravy and potatoes that are more mashed with butter than anything else. God is happy and so is man!!! read more

When we walked in they told our group that we would be seated within 20-25 minutes. 45 minutes later I decided to remind them they said 20-25 minutes. They say us down after I had spoken up. We ordered and it took such a long time for our food to come out. We ordered grilled cheeses, there's no reason for that to take so long. My mom ordered a grilled cheese with tomato, and when they brought it out they told her they forgot the tomato (didn't even offer to fix what they messed up, basically just told her to eat it anyways.) We've been here a couple of times and enjoyed the local feeling of this place but unfortunately we won't be back. We went for breakfast and our eggs were cold, they forgot my egg when delivering food, brought an extra serving of potatoes (which weren't what we ordered). The potatoes were hot but way over cooked. My husband ordered the huevos and the tortilla was very soggy, eggs were cold but potatoes were hot. I ordered chicken and waffles and the waffles were floppy and just kinda warm. The manager did come over and offer us hot eggs. Nice gesture but then the rest of our food would have been cold. So it made no sense. That was the only compensation. I went there with my daughter today and we had Chicken & Waffles and the standard Two Eggs Breakfast. We were both blown away by the high quality of the food ingredients and were one of the best breakfast dishes we had anywhere. The service was a little weird and disorganized from our first encounter with the hostess stand to our last encounter with our waiter. The atmosphere was really modern and clean. We ordered our meals pretty fast because we were starving, but the food took quite a while to come out. The Chicken & Waffles was good, but not great. The chicken was too thin, pretty overdone and needed salt, in my opinion. This dish really didn't have a ton of flavor. I'd prefer dark meat chicken. I also didn't love the Sriracha honey sauce that came with the dish. I liked the plain ol' syrup better! My boyfriend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. This was really tasty, but the texture was weird. There was no crunch to it - only soft foods (beans, eggs, corn tortillas, etc.). The potatoes were on FLEEK, though. Crack a fried egg over these puppies and call it a day. Nice diner downtown. Very busy for lunch on New Year's Day holiday. Not sure if normally this busy or not. Nice environment. Moderate noise level. We didn't wait for table and sat at the bar. Bar seating was still roomy and bar staff nice and good drinks. I had breakfast tacos and they were good. I added bacon to it. Wasn't worth $2 up charge for bacon. I was expecting large strips laid across but was broken pieces of scrap lol. They come standard with flour tortillas but I asked for corn and they were very tasty. The potatoes that came with the tacos I didn't care for at all. Hard and charred whole. My wife had the chicken and waffles and traded the waffle for French toast instead. It was really good. The meatloaf was some of the best ever and my soup-and-sandwich combo was almost perfect (I failed to notice that curry was in the chicken salad sandwich...so MY bad!) The chicken and waffles were amazing. The honey siracha sauce perfectly complemented the piping hot and crispy chicken. The burger was flavorful. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the shoestring fries (just a personal preference). But if shoestring fries are your thing you will love this diner! It's Mayfest so I'll give them that but after a 25 min wait with a half full restaurant we waited ANOTHER 30 mins to give our order....to a FOOD RUNNER! It took so long that 3 of our friends left so it was just my fiancé and I waiting because we wanted to try out Dilly Diner. Eventually a waiter did check up on us, too bad it wasn't our waiter. Jay (our waiter) didn't even bring us the cold brews he was going to "check up on", our 2nd waiter did. This was especially ridiculous since we were his only new table in the hour we were seated. Btw our "2nd waiter" deserves a shout out for being awesome enough to notice us when are waiter was gone for 10mins at a time. Wish I got his name.... Terrible service especially on our first time to Dilly Diner of which I've heard such great things. What a Major disappointment. Dying for a Dilly Diner in Oklahoma City! I am not in Tulsa often, especially for a big, good breakfast/brunch, but my husband had told me Dilly was a must, so we came on a short weekend Tulsa trip. It did not disappoint. I love that it has somewhat of a diner atmosphere (a bit "cooler" than an actual diner though) but also has adult beverages for a weekend brunch. I was feeling a bit under the weather so I didn't partake in a mimosa or anything, but the brunch drinks all sounded great. We started out with a sticky bun with cream cheese icing for an appetizer. So good. Probably the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. Not sure I could eat the whole thing for a meal, but a few bites was perfect to start out breakfast. I was torn between several options (breakfast burrito, breakfast taco, chicken and waffles, just to name a few...) but with the recommendation from our server, I went with the breakfast tacos with chorizo. They were a great choice! And a smaller portion than the burrito, which was perfect. They come with chorizo, scrambled eggs, avocado and some magically delicious chipotle sauce of some kind. They were some of the best breakfast taco/burrito variation I've had. The brunch potatoes are more intense than I was expecting (in a good way!), smothered with sauteed peppers and onions. I filled up quickly on the tacos, but the potatoes were awesome too. All the baked goods in the case looked great too. I wish I was in this area more often to come try more goodies and menu options, but it'll definitely be a must stop for us if we're in Tulsa at breakfast time. read more
