My brother likes this place. He always asked to eat here when he visited. They don't have of him tables. I would stick with dimsum menu. We did not like their wonton soup. The wait could be long for food because they have a lot of to go. Come early if you want bake custard buns. They ran out. I like sumai and shrimp egg rolls. Parking has been okay to me.

This is a great no frills Chinese Food and Dim Sum restaurant. Each meal comes with complementary hot tea, which was delicious. I ordered several items from the menu, all items were delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Stumbled upon this gem of a place in the heart of Beacon Hill on a random black Friday and was pleasantly surprised at the service and at the quality of the food. I ordered a chicken curry for a friend and it was absolutely delicious. Love the old school family vibe in this place look forward to being back to try it again!

Great dim sum steamed to order right on Beacon Hill. Lots of variety, from seafood fishes( I saw a family order spot prawns & lobster in ginger scallion sauce) right beside us as we were having dim sum around 11:30 AM on a Sunday. They are under new ownership but I'm unsure when that happened. I haven't been to Dim Sum House for several years due to poor service...but the ladies that work there now are very attentive & thorough. This was a pleasant surprise to know that I Dim Sum House is definitely back in my rotation. Everything we had was tasty & freshly made, except for the baked items which are in a big case...that's heated I believe. The dining room Is small with 2 large banquet tables on one side and about 6-8 2 & 4 top tables on the other side. We waited about 10 minutes for a table for 4 opened up but it was quick & worth it!. The restaurant has been newly renovated so it was clean & updated. I will definitely be back.

This isn't the BEST dim sum place and it's definitely not as good as the popular spots in the International District, but it does satisfy the craving for dim sum when you really want it. We stopped here because the location was more convenient for us at the time. On a weekday at around 2pm there were 4 other parties eating here at the same time as us so I'm guessing it must get pretty crowded on weekends. I have no complaints about the service as it's basically what you would expect at any dim sum restaurant. Prices were reasonable and food portions were good.

This place is around since I was a kid and I am in my late 40's! We absolutely LOVE this neighborhood mom and pop dim sum cafe. Park in the public island parking lot and use the crosswalk. They serve way more than just dim sum there's a huge separate menu for non dim sum Chinese/szechuan classics. We tend to gravitate towards their mouth watering dim sum. They have a picture menu which makes ordering easy. It's not push cart style which is ok so it comes out hot and fresh. The dining area is small but we have never had to wait to dine in. If there's no small tables left for small parties, people sometimes just share a big table. They do a lot of take outs for locals. If I live close by, I would definitely frequent this place. Memorable must haves are their Dan Dan noodles; it's a healthy yet addicting dish. It's a milder version we love the use of cucumber and napa cabbage to balance out the gently creamy peanuty noodle dish. Stir/mix up then serve. Highly recommend for vegans. The waitress lady tells us it's one of their top sellers. You get a good size bowl for $12.95! Other favorites are their pork/shrimp shiu mai, fried shrimp egg rolls (oh yes!), baked bbq buns (they run out fast), garlic green beans (ask to make it Szechuan spicy- it's even better than ones at DTF), any of their steamed dumplings with that amazing dough like ha gow shrimp dumplings, scallop dumplings, vegetarian dumpling, pan fried daikon radish cake. My hubby really like the chili oil won tons but it's really not that spicy. If you like coconut, the "cocktail bun" or coconut bun in the deli case is sure loaded with coconut! There is a plethora of other baked or fried goodies in the deli case like sesame balls, Bo lo bau (pineapple bun-but it's not made with pineapple), the fried football shaped meat dumpling call hom sui gok, hot dog bun etc. I wish I can eat like I was a teenager! They even have congee if you are in the mood for that and it's actually good. I can tell all the other dim sum that we have not tried is legit based on the pics. Been going to dim sum all my life and the dim sum chefs back there know their stuff. Good size. What's not to love. Also, you get a free pot of hot tea to wash everything down. Cleanse your palate between each dim sum. They have a huge boba tea menu. The $5.50 coffee boba milk tea was delish! Worth the 1 hour drive for this culinary dive! Delicious hole in the wall experience in a decent neighborhood right across from the west Seattle supermarket on Beacon Ave S. Love this place!!

My favorite dim sum restaurant in Seattle. I love the location and small dining room. I try to remind everyone, the space is small so it can pack out quickly, unless I have lots of time I often order to go so I can leisurely eat at home. I did this for Christmas morning with my family and it was a tasty, filling and quick meal at to enjoy in the comforts of home, that I am not capable of making. We ordered ha gao, deep fried crescents, Chinese broccoli, stuffed eggplant, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, bbq pork pastry, steamed bbq pork buns and chive and shrimp pan fried.

Wow . This place is under new management since I was last in (pre-Covid) and I have been missing out!!! The indoors has been renovated and is now super clean, and the food is super affordable and excellent. We came in for dim sum for lunch. I unfortunately did not take a picture of the Dan Dan noodles but they were peanuty spicy perfection. The green beans were expertly cooked and delightfully garlicky. The wonton dumplings in chili oil (pictured) were fantastic. LOVE this place!

Is it possible to eat here as a celiac?

I won't really recommend getting any meat filled dishes as they use ingredients with wheat for the meat coating and also nothing with sauce because the sauces have wheat in them . But the dumplings and noodles are mostly rice based . And they have…

Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. The steamed bok choy was a nice refreshing touch. Our favorite bite was the crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot mixed with the delicious sauce. There's so many menu items that caught our eye and we'd love to come back and try it all! Hearty, delicious no-frills meals.
