The absolute worst place for delivery! It took over two hours for delivery that is handled by a third party delivery service. I was informed it would arrive in one hour but arrived two hours later. Definitely not worth the wait and everything was wrong. Burnt crust and wrong dressing for salad. If you're worried about salt - - don't order their pizza - - yuck!!!!! They have very good thin crust pizza with lots of vegetarian and some vegan options. ----- But first, a ridiculous conversation: --We should get some pizza from Dimo's. Dino's? --No, Dimo's. That's what I said, Dino's! --No, with an "m"! Mino's?? I'm pretty sure that's not a real place! --(Stunned silence) ----- The crust has a great texture and flavor. It feels "just right" each time. We've had both versions of the elote pizza (vegetarian and vegan) and they're both excellent. It's on the mild side, but very tasty. We've only had delivery (4 times?), but they tend to overestimate the delivery times, unlike many other places, which tend to underestimate and under-deliver. For example, our last delivery was almost 40 minutes ahead of schedule, which made us happy. They provide updates by email so that you have some clue of when it might arrive. Delivery staff have been great: timely and polite. I can't wait to actually go there one of these days. read more

Pretty good NYC style pizza. Reminds me of artichokes. Although characteristic of nyc pizza the dough has a a taste closer to a baguette or ciabatta but thin. It's very tasty with a nice bite. This place is on point for pizza by the slice. We got four slices: cheese, pep, sausage, and Margherita. Margherita was by far the best imo! One of the slices was slightly burnt, but they happily replaced. Service was very friendly. As mentioned by others, the seating area isn't very big, so it may be a little difficult. I had their pizza at a friend's house, who is lactose intolerant. I tried their lactose free cheese bread and I couldn't tell the cheese was dairy free and the dough was a nice doughy texture. While we were in Wrigleyville this past December, we were craving for some piping hot pizza after an all day of fun outside in the cold Chicago winter. A quick search resulted in Dimo's Pizza. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food:  Good. We got two slices of their mac n cheese pizza. The slices were huge and the mac n cheese tasted delightful. If you have never had this topping then you must give it a try. There's something about the texture of noodles that tastes just right as a pizza topping. Decor: okay. The walls are bright red with Dimo's signs all over the place. I think this is more of a good takeout by the slice kind of a place which suits it well. Cleanliness: good. The tables and the floors looked clean. Service: good. The cashier saw my Simpsons mask and we got into a friendly discussion of Family Guy vs Simpsons. Price: reasonable. Each slice of our pizza was around $6 which is what you expect to pay in Chicago. If you're ever in Wrigleyville either for the Cubs game or for a bar crawl and in the mood for some pizza, give Dimo's a try and make sure you get something creative like the mac n cheese pizza! read more

Yesterday we ordered 2 pizza's . The ETA for the pizza was about 30-45 minutes. We ordered before the snow storm hit. As the order was delayed and I had not heard from Dimo's-- so I called. We were very hungry and it was a stressful day on my end. As the storm was starting to barrel down in our area, I was concerned that the delivery was not gonna make it and i was willing to cancel and seek another source of nourishment. I approached the call with empathy, understanding. The people at Dimo's were busy, and there was a winter storm coming. They communicated with me that the delivery person had not picked up the order yet and that they were backed up due (i imagine) to the storm. They said that the delivery folks were a "BIKE DELIVERY" service. I was blown away! "ON BIKES?" -- In one way I loved that they we using bikes... but IT WAS A BLIZZARD! Had I known this in advance I would have understood if the order needed to be canceled. Much longer story short.. I was patient and understanding (Easy to do) There was a bigger picture happening, beyond my own empty tummy as I sat at my warm cozy desk (working) watching the snow fall outside my window, a woman was on a bike headed my way with two Pizzas- IN A BLIZZARD. I told them I would meet them in the lobby. I went down stairs and this woman was bundled up in all kinds of gear (snow protection and bike gear) She was fierce. In haste I expressed my gratitude. I didn't have cash on me but I would have tipped her more. I would like to know what the service (bike) company name is, so Ill call Dimo's to find out. ALL IN ALL: THE PIZZA WAS SOOOOO GOOD. We had to heat it up but that's understandable. The pizza took much longer than expected... but that was understandable. The customer service was extraordinary even in the midst of blizzard. AGAIN... THE BEST PIZZA I've had in Chicago yet. It all happened in a strange window of time and obstacles. Dimo's made it happen. That delivery driver was awesome and made it happen-- I'll see if I can find her to send her more cash. In a world full of division and self-interest we get to celebrate our communities, our heroes, our neighbors, imagine the world in a way larger than our immediate circumstances. THANK YOU. I'm not in celebration of "my compassion" that was so easy to do. I am celebrating Dimo's the delivery biker bad a**. I am celebrating humanity... a micro (1st world ) example of how we need one another, understand one another, and I'm celebrating that Pizza. It was yummy. Let's pay our workers more. The food is incredible and the service is fast! They have one or two trays of solely vegan pizzas which is much appreciated, I recommend the Mac n cheese and the buffalo sauce with chick'n, top notch!! There are a few booths and a counter to sit at so be mindful that there isn't a ton of seating. But, the slices are easy to take and massive (~$5) so you could be fine with one or two. Made a special trip to this pizza joint on a Saturday afternoon to try out some of their specialty pizzas. Small interior with no current indoor seating, though no line whatsoever to order. There weren't too many options available since it was an odd time of day and no games were playing. Settled on The Mac slice ($4.50) and a Chicken & Waffles slice ($4.50). Both items were warmed up in the oven for a few minutes then tightly packed into a pizza box with paper plates. The Mac delivers on the cheesiness - gooey yellow and white cheese and a handful of well-cooked macaroni on top of a foldable crust. Chicken & Waffles slice tastes exactly as it sounds, with crusted chicken tenders and a maple finish. Easy spot for a quick fix, just need to find a place to enjoy it. read more

The pizza here is so good! It's definitely a dive, but the quality is good! I came here drunk during TBOX 2018, and quite honestly, I've never been as content with food as I was for this pizza. I had the basil, spinach, ricotta pizza with maple and pepperoni. This flavor mixture wasn't my favorite, but I still ate it and it was very good, regardless. I probably wouldnt try this specific kind again, but I also had an original pepperoni slice, too, and that was heart eyes. I really wanted to try the truffle fries, but it was so busy when we came and I forgot all about asking once I got to the counter to order. So I'll be back one day and I'll try this! The workers were handling the large crowd well, and they were all patient and nice. I've never seen people work so fast un my life. Pizzas were coming out of the ovens left and right. The nice thing is that they offer a bunch of different pizzas at a time; I tried my friend's buffalo chicken one, and it was amazing. I'd get this next time. The crust of all of this pizza was also great. I love a little burnt and crunchy, and thsts what kind both of my slices had. One weakness is that the pizzas didn't have any labels in front of them so nobody knew what the toppings all were unless we asked. Coming back sober and ordering a few slices was exactly what I needed to confirm that they make some dang good pizza. My favorite was the Bridge And Bloom. Super fresh, with aromatic and flavorful fresh parsley, pesto, and ricotta. The pepperoni 2.0 was a great choice (according to a pepperoni lover who came with me). If you ever want some 'za that's non-traditional this is the place. I usually get their mac'n cheese pizza. Today I got that and their elotes pizza which is available seasonally. Be sure to check their calendar to see what will be available next each month. Their pizza always has a nice crisp to it. They didn't have it available today but if you ever dine their it's nice to add some of their barbecue sauce or any of their other condiments to your slice. Parking isn't always the greatest at this location, but if you do find one be sure to stop by. Not sure if this location has it but the one in Wicker Park has some excellent salad. Their cilantro lime dressing is just "Wow". That's probably my all time favorite dressing now. Take advantage of their punch card too to get free slices in the future. read more

Wow so impressed with the pizza here!! I love that that have the pizza by the slice option and their slices are HUGE! Just like a classic New York slice. We went to pick some food up during St Patty's Day weekend so they were slammed and I'm surprised how fast they were able to move through the line while also keeping their drunk patrons in order (LOL). I tried a classic pepperoni slice and a Mac and cheese slice and both were delicious. They did Mac and cheese pizza right and it definitely satisfied the long running craving I had for it.
