After several months of wanting to try Dimo's, we finally took the plunge last night. We are super glad that we did as their pizza is fantastic. We got the pepperoni and sausage along with the cheesy garlic bread. Let's start with the cheesy garlic bread as I actually think that was better than the pizza. The bread was super soft with no shortage of cheese. The garlic stood out and was super flavorful. Certainly nothing wrong with the pizza as the pepperoni was crispy and the sausage was filled with herbs that made it stand out. Loved this place! We were visiting from out of town for 3 nights and stayed just down the road by Wrigley Field. In those few days, we made a trip to this place twice. The first time we went, we got slices of pepperoni and a slice of their chicken and waffles. All of it was great. The chicken and waffles pizza was obviously a little sweeter then we preferred so I recommend not getting more then one. Oh, and the slices are very large so typically one or two pieces will be sufficient. The second night, admittedly, was in the early morning hours after being out for most of the day having drinks. I ordered a 20" pepperoni and mushroom ($24) for pick-up at 10pm via the website and it was ready in 20 minutes. The pizza was very similar to NYC style pizza: generous toppings, well salted, and foldable triangles. It is more greasy than I normally would like, but the crust was able to hold it all up. Quality of the ingredients are not as high as the ones Jimmy's uses, but if it's late and this is the only place open between 10pm and 3am ... This will be my new to go spot. The only reason I am deducting one star is because I feel that the pizza doesn't stay warm for long when you get it to go, and it's just not the same at home. I've been a couple time and have tried the Philly Cheese Steak, Fettucine Alfredo, BBQ Steak & Fries, and the Chorizo Seitan Taco (vegan). The chorizo taco was a bit too spicy for my taste, but that's my only complaint! I love how it's all thin and the slices are generous. #twicetheslice! There are so many options that it's very hard to choose. Everyone behind the counter are more than happy to tell you about each pizza and answer any questions. My friends and I got Dino's delivered the other day ! And I must say they have great choices ! We tried the Pepperoni 2.0, sausage and pepperoni and mushroom and pepperoni. Out of all three the pepperoni 2.0 was BOMB!! It was soooo goood I would highly recommend this one if you don't want to go too crazy in a special pizza and not too simple !
