Pricepoint- I work in Brooklyn- try finding a healthy meal for under 10 dollars. Also break down the time to drive to the supermarket, shop, prep, cook, put in containers. With that being said, I feel the price is reasonable. Quality- everything I ordered was very enjoyable and didn't regret any dish I picked. My only complaint- a few of the dishes had undercooked rice. Awaiting my next order and many more. Game changer for me.

You can order on the app, or order on the kiosk when you arrive. You can either pay with your card or pay in cash in person. I ordered from Michal Symon's Mediterranean place. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki & Avocado Sandwich. It was described as chicken souvlaki, tomatoes, cucumbers, red pepper, feta, avocado, romaine, hummus, eggplant spread, and crispy shallots. It was all on top of a pita which was placed in a container. It made it very difficult to take out of the container and I wasn't able to eat it as a sandwich. Flavor-wise it was tasty though. It is very wasteful though. The containers of food go in a bag and my can of soda went in another bag. There's a much better way of doing this and not wasting so much material and plastic. I was also told my name would be called when my order was ready. This was not the case. I did opt-in for text updates. That's how I knew my order was ready. When I received the text I grabbed my order from the shelf and the employee was not very nice about it. She needs better customer service training. There are only about 4 tables inside. The wait was about 20 minutes. I feel it's one and done for me.

The sales associate was super friendly and happy to help, even though she was clearly about to go off her shift as her replacement was coming in to get settled. They did have a BOGO deal on their website for brand new customer, which I took advantage of. The meals were nice in that all of the nutrition information was broken down. I wanted to go with protein rich but lower calorie options that I could easily heat up at work, so I grabbed a chicken penne alla vodka and the low carb hibachi chicken. I do wish the hibachi chicken came with a bit of spice as the sauce was only sweet, but I just threw on some sriracha once I got home. Portions are very generous. I actually divided up the two meals into three containers. The veggies in the low carb hibachi chicken meal tasted great. Overall, especially with the BOGO option, these meals are good quality, fresh, and reasonably priced. They also had a lot of nutrition conscious snacks and breakfast foods. I would visit again when I'm in a bind for meal prepping.

I've tried so many of their fresh and frozen meals - not limited to shrimp, salmon, steak, chicken meals. There are a variety of flavors as well and I love how clean their ingredients are! My husband and I gravitated towards redefine meals over other meal prep stores because of their clean, simple ingredients and use of avocado oils. I also love how they offer frozen meals as well for a discount. I bought a few of them and there was no lack of taste or flavor when warmed/thawed. I am also extremity grateful for the first responder discount offered. It is helpful for those who don't have the best schedules to at least have a healthy, fueling meal so I really appreciate that offering. They also have discounts if you buy 10 meals as well which I think is rewarding for everyone! Please check out redefined meals in Farmingdale. You will not be disappointed!

We ended up with 2 meals- hot honey shrimp soft tacos with rice and blackened chicken with rice. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful! When I brought this to the assistant's attention, she called her supervisor and explained that the label had not been updated to reflect the new price. While I understand pricing errors can happen, good customer service would have been to honor the clearly marked price and correct future labels--not insist I pay more than what was advertised. Instead, I was told I had to pay the higher price. It left me questioning the store's pricing practices. This isn't the first disappointing experience. On another occasion, the same assistant refused to let me return a meal I had just purchased--despite the fact that I hadn't even left the store and only wanted to exchange it because my daughter changed her mind. Additionally, I've noticed that the portion sizes of the meals have been shrinking noticeably over the past year. Overall, I'm becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the service and value at this location.
